摘    要:本文提出一种快速并行细化算法。细化过程是一个迭代过程。每次迭代分成两个子迭代。算法收敛速度快,细化连续性好,几何畸变小,对二值纹理图像无特殊要求,具有通用性。算法实现巧妙,独特,占用内存少,特别适合小型计算机图像处理系统。该算法在PCvision图像处理系统上实现的效果良好。

Abstract:A quick parallel thinning algorithm for binary digitized patterns is proposed in this paper. The procedure of thinning is the one of iterations, each of which consists of two subiterations. It is found with fast convergence speed, good connectivity, little distortion and few restrictions on binary stroke patterns. It is coded by FORTRAN language in a creative structure, processing a large amount of data within a size-limited main memory as quickly as possible. In practice, using this thinning algorithm on PCvision digital image processing system for various stroke patterns, the results arc good.
