Abstract: | A Q-switch single-mode ruby laser is used for holographic recording of simulated sonic booms. The gaseous objects are visualized by means of the following techniques: 1) Differential interferometry in polarized light, as well as the Schlieren method with defocused phase plate. Both techniques are applied to the holographically recorded wave (directional lighting).2) Interferometry by double exposure with directional lighting. |
