| 摘 要： | 给出一种新的图像压缩方法，该方法是在小波库中通过以信息熵作为代价函数寻找最优基，实现图像压缩，仿真结果显示，该方法压缩比大，信息损失小，能够较好恢复原有图像。

| Abstract: | The paper introduces a new approach of image compression,which finds the best basis in wavelet packets by using Shanon-Weaker entropy criterion.Simulation proves this an efficient compression method owing to a larger compression ratio,a less loss of information,and better performance of recovering the original image. |
