Capability analysis of passive reconnaissance and positioning of the warning aircraft to ground rader

The interception probability and the range equation that electronic support measure（ESM）of the warning aircraft scout out target are deduced. The formulas of the passive location that the warning aircraft scout out target are deduced based on the principle of the multipoint bearing crossing location,the least square estimate and the error about target position vector are provided. Under the condition that the ESM of the warn- ing aircraft and the object parameter are known,the performance about the ESM of the warning aircraft of the interception probability and the passive location are simulated and estimated, the relation between the perform- ance about the interception probability of the warning aircraft and the center error probability of the location with the target distance and the ESM direction-finding error is provided.
