| Abstract: | The dynamic measurement rangs,the influence and the optimization of the experimental parameters in PIV(Particle Image Vel- ocimetry)are discussed in detail by means of experimental measurement,theoretic analysis and computer simulation. The lower and upper limits of the measurement range in PIV are given,which are related to particle image diameter and secondary speckle noise in Young's fringes separately. The optimized value of the parameters,such as the number of particle image pairs within intcrrogation spot,time interval between two exposures, exposure pulsed duration,exposure times,exposure intensity,et al.,are presented.These results may be helpful to PIV measurement. |
