| Abstract: | Standards of contamination control are an important part of quality system for space products, which ensure the product quality. Reliability and safety can be increased and cost can be reduced by standardization of contamination control. It is crucial that standardization system of contamination control is established with respect to the special requirement of space system. The status of standardization of contamination control is summarized in this paper, including planning, designing, implementing, and verifying of an adequate contamination control program for all levels of spacecraft hardware development. The progress in contamination control standardization is discussed. |
