Abstract: | The glass tempered milling template designed and manufactured by parts digital model re-places the traditional metal template to engrave the aircraft chemical milling skin, By improving themanufacturing accuracy of chemical milling template, the dimensional accuracy of the skin afterchemical miling is improved. The brand-new glass tempered milling template is based on the designmathematical model. By designing a special engraving tool, glass fiber cloth and epoxy resin glue areused to lay and cure on the surface of the engraving tool layer by layer to obtain the FRP templateblank, After the blank is cured , the final chemical milling engraving template is obtained by process-ing the chemical milling viewport with a five-axis machine tool. In the production process , the tem-pered glass miling template has the characteristics of high strength,small rebound and short process-ing cycle , etc. The digitally manufactured fiber-reinforced plastic engraving template has an accurateprofile and a good fit with the skin, and the engraving accuracy is improved. The dimensional accura-cy of chemical milling of the skin processed by the glass tempered milling template is improved by0. 5 ~1 mm , and the glass tempered miling template can effectively improve the dimensional process ing accuracy and quality of chemical milling skin. |
