Abstract:Electric powered system is a new type of aircraft electric propulsion system, which has advantage of environment friendly and high efficiency. It may promote revolutionary development of aircraft. Key component/subsystem technology, i.e. solar cell, Li-ion battery, fuel cell, and electric motor are introduced. Design technology of electric propulsion system is analyzed. The contents are layout of five type of electric propulsion system, layout of fuel cell subsystem, key technology of subsystem. Finally, the problems of integrated optimization and disadvantage of the electric propulsion system are pointed out.
