| Abstract: | This paper studies the case when the image signal and noise are mutually independent both are quadrate mean-square-differentiable and homogeneous Gauss random fields. Suppose the mathematical expectation of image signal is zero, the basic properties of the correlator output are given. The location accuracy formulas of the contain-wise and pass-wise correlators are derived. The validity and feasibility of the method are verified by actual examples. The theoretical basis and an effective method are provided for the location accuracy analysis of correlators. |
