| Abstract: | We compare low-resolution short-wavelength IUE spectra of solar-type stars with high-resolution spatially-resolved SKYLAB spectra of individual solar features (quiet region, plage, flare). The comparison is used to obtain insights into the magnetic activity of stars. |
