Abstract:The ground experiment on low power arcjet thrusters was introduced. NH3 was chosen as propellant and experiments were carried out. The thruster performance parameters were measured. High thruster specific impulse can be obtained by means of optimizing working parameters. The experimental results for mass flow are given in detail.
