| Abstract: | New theories of exchange rate based on the stock supply versus the stock demand, suchas the Monetary Theory of Exachange Rates, the Asset Approach to Exchange Rates and the Portfolio-Balance Approach to Exchange Rates, have been developed and put to use. They differ from the traditional exchange rate theories which are based on the flow supply versus the flow demand of a currency. Some essential research are conducted in the article on these new theories. |
