In this paper,a traffic flow detector is introduced.It has high sensitivity,high S/n,the ability to transmit signal through long distance, and low cost. It can detect accurately both vehicle and bicycle folw.A drive transmitter and new transmission structure are specially designed for the detector.Pattern recognition technology and micro processor technology are also applied in the detector.All these make the detector to be an advanced,stable,easily operating and practical traffic flow edtection device
