| Abstract: | An rigorous expression of ridged waveguide eigenfunction is presented and standing wave formulation is applied to derive the complete characteristic equations of ridged waveguide.The mode-matching method is used to compute the generalized scattering matrix of discontinuity of the rectangular-ridged waveguide.The simulated results are in agreement with HFSS results. |
