Abstract:Since the first launch of flight simulator in the mid of last century, the flight simulator- related technologies have increasingly advanced, such as design principles, processing techniques, manufacture means, electronic systems, etc. In particular, the last decade saw a continuous participation of flight simulator manufacturers into its research and development as well as production. The adoption of a mass of new technologies and principles in new type flight simulator indicates the full improvements in every facet of computer system, visual system, motion system, flight control system, interface system, instrument system and software design patterns, etc. The new type flight simulator is a succession of traditional flight simulators in advantages and a break-through in technologies.
