| 摘 要： | 本文对英语阅读中推测词义的各种方法进行了探讨.指出了推测词义要根据构词法、上下文已知的语言材料、语法结构或依据常识进行逻辑上的推理.在阅读时适当地推断生词的意思不仅可以节约时间,而且可以培养分析语言现象的能力及提高阅读能力.

| Abstract: | This paper discusses approaches of guessing the meanings of unfamiliar words in English reading. It is pointed out that, according to word-formation, the context clues, grammar structures or common knowledge, the readers can get the meanings of the unfamiliar words by some logical inference. Adopting these methods properly, the readers can save time, develop the ability of analyzing language materials and improve the ability of fast reading. |
