The orbiting solar telescope on Salyut-4 (F = 2,5 m, d = 250 mm) produces images of the Sun on the entrance slit of a stigmatic two-grating spectrograph (R1 = 1 m, N1 = 1200 lines/mm; R2 = 0.5 m, N2 = 2400 lines/mm, dispersion 16 Å/mm, spectral resolution 0,3 Å). The automatic system keeps the observed solar features on the slit of the spectrograph with an accuracy of 3–4 arc sec. The far UV-spectra (970–1400 Å) of solar flares, brightenings, flocculi and prominences were photographed and fresh coatings of mirrors were made during the flight.  相似文献

The UV telescope of 30 cm diameter equipped with a three channel scanner spectrometer aboard the highly eccentric orbit space station “ASTRON” is describedAbsolute calibration of the whole device is performed using spectra of standard stars, of which absolute values were obtained by TDI or IUE experiments. Several photometric controls have been made on the stability of the equipment after one year of operation which demonstrate reliability of some first results obtained by the UFT.The sensitivity curve of the spectrophotometric system has been observed with a reproducibility of 2σ = 10% or better.The repeated observation of one star (139 Tau) indicates that the overall performance exhibits the same quality after one year in orbit. The low resolution mode (Δ λ = 28 A?) leads to a powerful new investigation of faint extended sources.  相似文献

This paper is a review of our observational knowledge on solar magnetic fields. In Section 1 we make an attempt to summarize all observations of the general magnetic field (m.f.) of the Sun. Section 2 deals with the local m.f. at low latitudes and their connection with some features on the disk. The m.f. of sunspots and their peculiar character are considered in Section 3. The last section (4) is concerned with m.f. in sunspot groups, their changes and connections with solar activity.  相似文献

Short review of ground-based observations of the Sun and of solar gravity modes detection is presented with the emphasize on 160m oscillation as predominant, long-time phase-coherent oscillation. The limitations imposed by the influence of Earth's atmosphere and geoseismic waves on observations of solar oscillations are pointed out together with a necessity of the observations of solar oscillations with the aid of space-probes.  相似文献

Ultraviolet spectra (1100–1900 Å) of the sky background of 10 wide angle (6°×6°) regions obtained between 70 000 km and 200 000 km from the Earth with the photoelectric spectrometer “GALACTIKA” on board the satellite “PROGNOZ-6” are considered. The spectral energy distribution of the sky background, after subtraction of the stellar component, is similar for regions on both sides of the Milky Way and exhibits a strong U.V. light contribution. On the contrary, the Milky Way (lII=190° bII=+6°) is less rich in far U.V. light; this can be related to the predominance of an expected selective absorption near the galactic plane. The nature of U.V. excess at high galactic latitudes needs further investigations.  相似文献
