Impact of rain on wave retrieval from Sentinel-1 synthetic aperture radar images in tropical cyclones

The main objective of our work was to investigate the impact of rain on wave observations from C-band (~5.3 GHz) synthetic aperture radar (SAR) in tropical cyclones. In this study, 10 Sentinel-1 SAR images were available from the Satellite Hurricane Observation Campaign, which were taken under cyclonic conditions during the 2016 hurricane season. The third-generation wave model, known as Simulating WAves Nearshore (SWAN) (version 41.31), was used to simulate the wave fields corresponding to these Sentinel-1 SAR images. In addition, rainfall data from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission satellite passing over the spatial coverage of the Sentinel-1 SAR images were collected. The simulated results were validated against significant wave heights (SWHs) from the Jason-2 altimeter and European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts data, revealing a root mean square error (RMSE) of ~0.5 m with a 0.25 scatter index. Winds retrieved from the VH-polarized Sentinel-1 SAR images using the Sentinel-1 Extra Wide-swath Mode Wind Speed Retrieval Model after Noise Removal were taken as prior information for wave retrieval. It was discovered that rain did indeed affect the SAR wave retrieval, as evidenced by the 3.21-m RMSE of SWHs between the SAR images and the SWAN model, which was obtained for the ~1000 match-ups with raindrops. The raindrops dampened the wave retrieval when the rain rate was < ~5 mm/hr; however, they enhanced wave retrieval for higher rain rates. It was also found that the portion of the rain-induced ring wave with a wave number > 0.05 rad/m (~125 m wavelength) was clearly observed in the SAR-derived wave spectra.     

飞轮微振动的组合隔振装置设计及实验研究

针对光学遥感卫星飞轮微振动引起的成像质量下降问题，设计了一种组合隔振装置，并采用仿真分析与实验测试相结合的方法对隔振方案设计的合理性进行验证。首先，将测量的飞轮扰振数据引入光学卫星的有限元模型中，计算出飞轮扰振对光学相机的像素偏移影响；其次，设计了组合隔振方案并基于有限元方法对其隔振效果进行验证；最后，搭建了光学成像微振动实验测试平台，对不同转速下飞轮微振动造成的像素偏移影响进行精确测量。实验结果表明，组合隔振装置对300 Hz以上高频段飞轮扰振有较大衰减作用，最大像素偏移降到0.01个像素以下，隔振效率达到80%以上；通过对比可知，实验测试与仿真计算得到的像素偏移结果在低频段一次谐波响应及模态响应表现出较好一致性，但在高频段二者存在一定偏差。     

高速低压差分信号（LVDS）器件应用设计方法研究

随着高速LVDS器件得到广泛应用，在高速信号使用LVDS传输时，信号传输线路问题、信号传输波形的最佳化成为非常重要的课题之一。由于印制电路板的布局布线直接影响信号传输质量，因此利用仿真对印制板分析成为设计上不可缺少的手段。有鉴于此，文章深入探讨了高速电路的设计，总结出设计技巧。

本文把模糊数学的模糊变换原理用于购买新机型的评判。给出了各评判指标的定义和隶属度:并按 Saatz 的二元对比标度确定各指标的重要度;以及模糊变换的计算方法和应用举例。     

Active damping control of vibrational systems

The problem of vibration suppression in large flexible space structure (LFSS) is investigated. Based on the structure property of LFSS, an active damping strategy is proposed to effectively attenuate the critical vibrations of the structure subject to modeling uncertainty and external disturbance. Control algorithms are derived with the aim of suppressing both the vibrating magnitude and vibrating rate to an acceptable level. It is shown that the strategy exhibits robust and adaptive properties and is truly model-independent. The novelty of the proposed approach lies in the fact that it is fairly easy to set up the strategy and the overall computation involved is much less than any other strategies available to date. A two-bay truss is used to verify the validity of the proposed approach

High speed driving of a gain-switched laser diode with anexponential transmission line

With the increase of information capacity of an airborne system, high speed driving of laser diodes have been of interest. In order to match the low resistive LD, proposed in this paper is an exponential transmission line, which is used as preshaping to compensate the pattern effect in gain switching of laser diodes. It also will be used to overcome the effect of parasitic elements in high speed driving to improve the rise and trail edges of the output waveform. An accurate circuit model of the exponential line for the PSPICE program has been developed and simulations are conveniently carried out by employing PSPICE     

复合材料层板中就位横向拉伸强度的研究

本文利用弹性力学和断裂力学方法对纤维增强复合材料的横向拉伸强度进行了分析，其中考虑了９０度开裂层厚度和开裂邻层的约束效应的影响，推导出正交各向异性对称铺层中昨合就位横向拉伸强度的数学表达式，得出开裂层的厚度和约束邻层铺设角对就位横向拉伸强度都有影响的结论，理论计算与Ｆｌａｇｇｓ实验结果吻合较好。     

Organizing space cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region

The time for regional cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region is now ripe. Steps have been taken towards this via a workshop sponsored by China - previously wary of cooperation but now seeming to acknowledge that, along with interested countries, it could contribute more to space in the region. The author examines areas of shared interest over which parties might collaborate and the best way to achieve this: a gradual approach emulating the development (but not the present configuration) of ESA is recommended. Finally, he examines the legal framework within which cooperation might function, using a liaison committee to formulate and coordiante proposals. Action must be taken now if the region is not to fall behind in the development of space technologies.
