The concepts of "equivalent linear arrays" and "minimum effective spacing" can be used to simplify the analysis of planar adaptive arrays. The resulting design rules permit the rapid determination of array configurations without the need for computer modeling. 相似文献

A method is described to normalize the step parameter and perturbation amount used for gradient search adaptive algorithms. The step normalization assures rapid stable convergence. The perturbation normalization also assures rapid stable convergence and limits the output perturbation noise to a level below thermal noise. The normalizations are computationally simple and are consistent with the use of a single receiver at the adaptive array output. Results are presented to verify the robustness of the technique.<> 相似文献

A procedure to measure the covariance matrix of an antenna array directly from the array sum port is described. The procedure involves specifically chosen sets of antenna weights that will allow the matrix components to appear at the array output. A parallel method of measuring the covariance matrix is also described. The accuracy requirements of the power measurements are examined analytically and through simulation 相似文献
