The problem of minimum time frequency transitions in phase-locked loops with both phase and frequency controls applied is investigated using Pontryagin's maximum principle. Typically, a type II secondorder loop with a damping ratio of 0.707 subjected to a step change in the frequency of its input signal is considered and switchless control strategies that force the transients in the loop to settle down in minimum time are obtained. 相似文献

This paper considers optimum (MMSE) linear recursive estimation of stochastic signals in the presence of multiplicative noise in addition to measurement noise. Often problems associated with phenomena such as fading or reflection of the transmitted signal at an ionospheric layer, and also situations involving sampling, gating, or amplitude modulation, can be cast into such formulation. The different kinds of estimation problems treated include one-stage prediction, filtering, and smoothing. Algorithms are presented for discrete time as well as for continuous time estimation. 相似文献

A new adaptive filter to reject clutter is derived using autoregressive spectral analysis techniques. The adaptive filter performs open. Ioop processing, resulting in a shorter transient response, and is therefore suitable for radar waveforms containing only a small number of samples. A number of examples including application to ballistic missile defense are presented to demonstrate the performance capabilities of the new adaptive filter. 相似文献
