The new conceptual design of simple gas turbine engines for different purposes is presented. A choked-flow low-pressure turbine is used that allows reducing the number of stages and gas temperature in the relative motion ahead of blades. Application of such turbines with uncooled blades to reduce the cost of power-limited engines is considered.  相似文献

It is shown that research carried out by leading aeroengine manufactures on the use of the thermodynamically high-efficient GTE cycle with the periodic fuel combustion is very urgent. The investigation results are presented and it is disclosed that the advantages of this cycle effectiveness are particularly evident in flight conditions. Owing to a high degree of gas heating, the influence of input momentum and the expansion process efficiency on the economical engine operation is reduced.  相似文献

The experimental and theoretical studies of a GTE cycle with heat supply at constant volume were carried out. The results presented were obtained with the use of a constant volume valve combustion chamber of a new type with a turbine, low-head ejector in front of the turbine and a rotary-piston expansion machine as a turbine. Possible variants of gas-turbine plant (GTP) design with a low-head ejector and rotary-piston expansion machine are shown.  相似文献
