We compare CLOUDY predictions for the equilibrium ionization in the interstellar cloud surrounding the solar system with pick-up ion data. The incident radiation field includes contributions from hot stars, the emission from the conductive cloud boundary and the diffuse FUV back-ground. To within the observational uncertainties, CLOUDY predictions for the ratios n(He)/n(O), n(N)/n(O), n(Ne)/n(O), and n(He)/n(Ne) are consistent with pick-up ion data, provided that O and N are filtered by 50% in the heliopause region and the outer heliosphere as predicted by others. Thus, the steady-state ionization model and assumed radiation field appear approximately valid. However, the youth and low intervening column density towards the Vela pulsar leave open the possibility that the parent supernova explosion 10,500 years ago, and 200 pc distant, may also have affected LISM ionization, although the mechanism is uncertain. Measurements below several MeV/nucleon from Wind/LEMT and ACE/ULEIS show that elements heavier than Zn (Z=30) can be enhanced by factors of ∼100 to 1000, depending on species, in 3He-rich solar energetic particle (SEP) events. Using the Solar Isotope Spectrometer (SIS) on ACE we find that even large SEP (LSEP) shock-accelerated events at energies from ∼10 to >100 MeV/nucleon are often very iron rich and might contain admixtures of flare seed material. Studies of ultra-heavy (UH) SEPs (with Z>30) above 10 MeV/nucleon can be used to test models of acceleration and abundance enhancements in both LSEP and 3He-rich events. We find that the long-term average composition for elements from Z=30 to 40 is similar to standard solar system values, but there is considerable event-to-event variability. Although most of the UH fluence arrives during LSEP events, UH abundances are relatively more enhanced in 3He-rich events, with the (34<Z<40)/O ratio on average more than 50 times higher in 3He-rich events than in LSEP events. At energies >10 MeV/nucleon, the most extreme event in terms of UH composition detected so far took place on 23 July 2004 and had a (34<Z<40)/O enhancement of ∼250–300 times the standard solar value.  相似文献

Data from ACE and GOES have been used to measure Solar Energetic Particle (SEP) fluence spectra for H, He, O, and Fe, over the period from October 1997 to December 2005. The measurements were made by four instruments on ACE and the EPS sensor on three GOES satellites and extend in energy from ∼0.1 MeV/nuc to ∼100 MeV/nuc. Fluence spectra for each species were fit by conventional forms and used to investigate how the intensities, composition, and spectral shapes vary from year to year.  相似文献

Compound ceramics coatings on the Ti-6Al-4V alloy were prepared by the direct current micro-plasma oxidation (MPO) in NaAlO2 solution. The composition and morphology of the coatings were studied with the X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the scanning electron microscopy (SEM), respectively. Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometer technique was used to analyze the solution features of Ti-6Al-4V alloy in the process of preparation. The results reveal that Al2TiO5 forms in the coatings at the initial stages of MPO reaction, and its content changes rapidly with the reaction continuing: after 20 min, the ceramics coatings are composed of α-Al2O3, γ-Al2O3 and Al2TiO5, but after 40 min, its main composition is of α-Al2O3. The content of Ti in the solution will increase when the MPO time extends, and as will Al in the anode area until, after 30 min, it reaches the maximum and keeps constant from then on. Both substrata of Ti and Al in the electrolyte join the MPO reaction at the initial stage, where the formation of Al2TiO5 happens; but as the MPO reaction prolongs, more and more Al in the electrolyte will take part in the reaction, leading to the appearance of a large amount of Al2O3.  相似文献

碳/碳复合材料吸油和去油特性研究   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
以航空十号液压油(YH-10)为介质研究了碳/碳复合材料的吸油和去油特性,提出了其吸油机理,确定了吸油和去油过程中试环内油含量与时间关系的拟合方程。通过实验表明,在室温下碳/碳复合材料在浸油开始阶段随着时间的延长吸油率迅速上升,随后增加缓慢,最后趋于饱和并不再变化,饱和吸油率为4%左右。在去油过程中,碳/碳复合材料残油率受温度、时间和加热方式控制,而温度和加热方式是主导因素。在一定温度下,材料残油率随时间基本呈线性降低。当温度由100℃提高到150℃,残油率减小不大,而在200℃时残油率大幅度降低。200℃以上的温度是去除其油液的合适温度。微波炉加热较烘箱保温具有更好的去油效果。采用偏光显微镜和扫描电镜分析了碳/碳复合材料浸油和去油后的微观组织。  相似文献

对超高温热化学烧蚀的计算方法进行了研究,对碳基复合材料在不同环境下热化学烧蚀过程进行了数值模拟,对烧蚀产物进行了计算.计算表明,碳基复合材料在烧蚀过程中依次出现氧化、升华过程.10atm下,氧化、升华过程交替温度为330K.压力升高,交替温度也依次升高.氧化产物为CO,而升华产物依次为C3、C1.在3300K以下,烧蚀主反应为2C O2→2CO.在3300K以上,烧蚀主反应为:2C O2→2CO,2C N2→2CN,i(C)→Ci(g)i=1,3.并用哈尔滨工业大学研制的"星形"等离子发生器及国产的等离子体火炬进行了碳基复合材料烧蚀实验.实验光谱检测结果与超高温热化学烧蚀计算的烧蚀产物一致,验证了超高温热化学烧蚀计算的正确性.  相似文献
