In a driven/damped drift-wave system a steady wave induces nonlinear variation of the dispersion of a perturbation wave (PW).
Competition between the nonlinear dispersion with self-nonlinearity of the PW results in rich wave dynamic behaviors. In particular,
a steady wave at the negative tangency slope of a hysteresis becomes unstable due to a saddle instability. It is found that
such saddle steady wave (SSW) plays an important role in the discontinuous transition from a spatially coherent state to spatiotemporal
chaos (STC). The transition is caused by a crisis due to a collision of the PW attactor to an unstable orbit of the SSW. In
the time evolution, it is a ‘pattern resonance’ of the realized wave with the virtual SSW that triggers the crisis. The transition
also displays as a critical phenomenon in parameter space, which is related to the change in the symmetry property of the
motion of master mode (k = 1) of the PW with respect to that of SSW. In the spatially coherent state the former is trapped by the SSW partial wave,
while in the STC it can become free from the latter, its trajectory crosses two unstable orbits of the SSW frequently, causing
very turbulent behavior.

为了探求坡面薄层水流流态界定方法,从流体力学与泥沙运动学观点出发,对4种不同粗糙尺度床面(光滑玻璃、人工加糙粒径分别为0.075、0.245和0.380mm)、5种不同坡度下坡面薄层水流放水进行试验研究,并对薄层水流阻力规律与明渠水流阻力规律进行了比较分析。在此基础上提出了粘性底层厚度与水深之比作为新的无量纲临界判数,结果表明该判数能更好地反映坡面薄层水流流动型态。 相似文献

This review covers fairly comprehensively experimental and theoretical research on the fine structure of types zebra pattern
(ZP) and fiber bursts (FB) in solar type II + IV radio bursts. The basic attention is given to the latest experimental data.
A comparative analysis of several recent solar type IV radio outbursts with these fine structure in dynamical radio spectra
is carried out using available ground-based and satellite data (Yohkoh, SOHO, TRACE, RHESSI). New data on microwave zebra
structures and fiber bursts testifies that they are analogous to similar structures observed at meter wavelengths. The discovery
of the superfine structure, in the form of millisecond spikes is the most significant new effect in the cm range. All basic
theoretical models of the zebra pattern and fiber bursts are discussed critically. Two main models are studied for their interpretation:
(i) interactions between electrostatic plasma waves and whistlers, (ii) radio emission at double plasma resonance (DPR). The

A full-sky star identification algorithm based on radial and dynamic cyclic patterns is presented with the aim of solving the “lost-in-space” problem. The dynamic cyclic pattern match is applied with a maximum cumulate comparison method to identify sensor-catalog pairings in initial match, which substantially eliminates the effects of the star position noise, magnitude noise, and false stars. After initial match pairings of stars are obtained, a chain part extension technique is employed to quickly search for the longest match chain as the final result. Experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm is highly robust to star position noise, magnitude noise and false stars. In a series of simulations, the identification rate of the algorithm is 97.50% with 2.0 pixels star position noise, 96.90% with 0.4 Mv star magnitude noise and 95.30% with four false stars respectively. Moreover, the algorithm achieves an identification rate of 58.08% when only six stars are in the field of view. 相似文献

Presence of a cavity changes the mean and fluctuating pressure distributions inside and near the cavity. For cylindrical cavity flow, the diameter-to-depth ratio is the dominant factor. In this study, flow is naturally developed along a flat plate with two different lengths, resulting in different incoming boundary layer thicknesses ahead of the cavity. The effect of Reynolds number based on incoming boundary layer thickness on characteristics of mean and fluctuating pressure distributions is addressed. Pressure sensitive paint was also used to visualize the mean surface pressure patterns. The effect of Reynolds number on the classification of compressible cylindrical cavity flow and self-sustained oscillating frequency is not significant. An increase in Reynolds number results in a reduction in the value of differential pressure or momentum flux near the rear edge. 相似文献
