A comparative study is performed between a crack closure model and the Willenborg model, which can calculate the fatigue crack growth rate under the overload effects. The modified virtual crack annealing (VCA) model is briefly reviewed, which is based on the equivalent plastic zone concept. In this method, the retardation phenomenon is explained by the crack closure level variation, which is derived from the interactions between forward and reverse plastic zones ahead of the crack tip. As a comparison, the Forman equation in conjunction with the Willenborg model is also reviewed. The retardation phenomenon is described by directly modifying the stress intensity factor. It is known that the large plastic zone created by the overload can decelerate the fatigue crack growth rate until the crack grows beyond this region. A relationship between the plastic zone and the modified stress intensity factor is developed, which is a mathematical fitting equation instead of physical-based formulation. The experimental data in aluminum alloys are used to val-idate these two models. Overall, good agreement is observed between the model predictions and the testing data. It is noted that the approach based on modified VCA model can give more accurate prediction curves than the Willenborg model. 相似文献

In this paper a model for computing geomagnetically induced currents (GIC) from local geomagnetic field observations carried out in Hokkaido, Japan is constructed. The model is composed of system parameters mapping the horizontal geoelectric field to GIC and of 1D conductivity model. Analysis of Envisat Advanced Synthetic Aperture Radar (ASAR) and Aqua/Terra Moderate Imaging Spectrometer (MODIS) infrared (IR) imagery of coastal upwelling in the southeastern Baltic Sea is presented. It is found that upwelling features are well distinct in the SAR images, and the leading imaging mechanism appears to be the change of the marine atmospheric boundary layer (MABL) stratification over the sea surface temperature (SST) front. This finding is supported by model calculations of the MABL transformation supplemented with the SAR backscatter calculations based on the CMOD4 model. In addition an empirical dependence of the SAR contrasts over the upwelling region on the wind speed and the SST drop is suggested. Finally, surface slicks accumulated in the sea surface current convergence zones generate additional distinct features in SAR imagery. 为了解决目前航空发动机涡轮叶片气膜孔成形工艺存在热影响严重等问题,提出了采用超快激光环切与螺旋扫描的加工方法,设计了一种可实现高效、无热效应气膜孔加工的双激光光源微加工系统,并从作用机理和实际加工过程两方面分析了热效应的产生原因,指出了其中的主要影响因素,然后针对这些因素选用DD6材料进行了工艺参数优化和实验验证.实验结果表明:采用500fs激光与微秒长脉冲激光复合加工的方式可以使精细钻孔的效率提升约10倍,并得到基本无重铸层和微裂纹的涡轮叶片气膜孔;其工艺参数包括扫描速度为2400r/min,重叠率为12%,进给量为5μm,重复频率为20kHz以及0.6Pa同轴吹气.表明超快激光配合合理的工艺参数和加工方式可以实现无热效应气膜孔加工,是一种有效提高气膜孔成形表面完整性的工艺方法. 相似文献

针对传统复合材料损伤分析方法未考虑界面层的损伤问题,基于三维累积损伤分析方法和内聚力模型方法,建立一套能够综合考虑面内损伤和层间损伤的复合材料螺栓连接数值分析模型。通过对两种典型复合材料单钉接头进行强度分析,表明该计算方法比传统有限元方法具有更高的精度。基于该模型,对接头层合板的分层扩展以及拧紧力矩对接头强度和分层扩展的影响进行研究。结果表明:分层扩展方向和层合板断裂方向是一致的;拧紧力矩对连接强度有明显提高作用,并且对孔边分层扩展有抑制作用。 相似文献

对复合材料端部缺口弯曲(ENF)试件裂纹扩展过程进行了理论分析,研究了界面参数变化对载荷-位移曲线的影响。首先在梁微段分析的基础上,通过双线性Cohesive本构模型模拟了界面损伤。本文模型中考虑了轴力的影响,根据界面损伤程度对模型进行了分段,并分别获得了各段通解。以裂纹长度以及黏聚区范围为变量分析了ENF试件裂纹扩展过程,求解获得了载荷-位移曲线。通过与已有理论模型结果对比,验证了本文理论分析的正确性,且本文理论考虑了弹性段后非线性的存在。分析了界面参数与黏聚区长度的关系,为界面参数的选取提供了一定的依据。 相似文献
