Predicting the cutting forces required for five-axis flank milling is a challenging task due to the difficulties involved in determining the Undeformed Chip Thickness(UCT) and CutterWorkpiece Engagement(CWE). To solve these problems, this paper presents a new mechanistic cutting force model based on the geometrical analysis of a flank milling process. In the model,the part feature and corresponding cutting location data are taken as input information. The UCT considering cutter runout is calculated according to the instantaneous feed rate of the element cutting edges. A solid-discrete-based method is used to precisely and efficiently identify the CWE between the end mill and the surface being machined. Then, after calibrating the specific force coef-ficients, the mechanistic milling force can be obtained. During the validation process, two practical operations, three-axis flank milling of a vertical surface and five-axis flank milling of a nondevelopable ruled surface, are conducted. Comparisons between predicted and measured cutting forces demonstrate the reliability of the proposed cutting force model. 相似文献

The performance of a marine gas turbine intercooler operating in wet condition was evaluated.The intercooler was a cross-flow plate-fin heat exchanger that used air and pure water as its working fluids at the hot and cold sides,respectively.The heat transfer performance and the water vapor condensation were investigated for a relative humidity of the inlet air that reached 100% during warship cruise.The condensation of the water vapors increased the hot side outlet temperature by a certain amount,which could in turn influence the performance of the compressor downstream.The condensate film thickness and the void fraction were calculated based on an annular two-phase flow model.It is found that water vapor condensation in hot flow channel increases the outlet temperature with a maximum value of 7.3℃ in the case of 100% relative humidity.The calculated liquid film thickness reaches a maximum value of 4μm,which indicates negligible thermal resistance to heat transfer.The results of liquid film thicknesses also provide a qualitative prediction of the diameter distribution of the condensate water droplets. 相似文献

A deduced cutting force prediction model for circular end milling process is presented in this paper. Traditional researches on cutting force model usually focus on linear milling process which does not meet other cutting conditions, especially for circular milling process. This paper presents an improved cutting force model for circular end milling process based on the typical linear milling force model. The curvature effects of tool path on chip thickness as well as entry and exit angles are analyzed, and the cutting force model of linear milling process is then corrected to fit circular end milling processes. Instantaneous cutting forces during circular end milling process are predicted according to the proposed model. The deduced cutting force model can be used for both linear and circular end milling processes. Finally, circular end milling experiments with constant and variable radial depth were carried out to verify the availability of the proposed method. 以NACA翼型参数算法为基础进行翼型支板火焰稳定器设计,并采用数值模拟方法探讨了翼型稳定器最大厚度位置和截尾厚度两个结构参数对总压恢复系数和回流区长度的影响.结果表明:在来流马赫数为0.15~0.30的条件下,随着翼型稳定器最大厚度位置向尾缘方向后移,总压恢复系数先增大后急剧减少,回流区长度则呈现相反趋势;翼型稳定器截尾厚度越小,其最大总压恢复系数越大,且回流区长度与截尾厚度的1.5次方成正比. 相似文献

为了探索模型缩尺比对高超声速进气道气动性能的影响,对不同缩尺比的二元高超声速进气道开展了数值模拟研究,结果表明:随着缩尺比的增大,进气道流量系数、隔离段出口总压恢复系数和马赫数均逐渐增大,而静压比逐渐减小,且来流马赫数越高,上述参数变化幅度越大。由理论与数值模拟分析可知,上述现象主要是由于不同缩尺比下,进气道当地雷诺数不同,导致进气道附面层相对厚度变化,进而影响进气道气动性能。理论分析了进气道总压恢复系数与缩尺比的定量关系,就进气道而言,进气道进口处附面层相对厚度减小1%,隔离段出口总压恢复系数提高约0.7%。 相似文献

为了研究最小喉道面积比对多级轴流压气机性能的影响,开发了一套基元叶栅最小喉道面积比的计算程序。通过对基元叶栅进行最小喉道面积比计算,得到压气机叶片沿展向的最小喉道面积比分布,同时分析了转子和静子的最小喉道面积比分布规律。最后采用修改基元叶型的前段弯度比与最大厚度来改变基元叶栅的最小喉道面积比分布,分析了不同最小喉道面积比分布对多级轴流压气机性能的影响。结果表明,压气机的阻塞流量与最小喉道面积比成正相关,并且存在最佳前段弯度比使压气机设计点效率与压比达到最大,最大厚度变小能改善压气机整体性能。 相似文献

基于ABAQUS软件采用有限元方法建立ZL205A铝合金大型复杂构件淬火过程的温度场与应力场模型,分析构件在淬火过程中不同时刻的温度场分布.根据构件结构特征,选择4个特征点获得淬火过程冷却曲线,并对构件厚壁、加强筋与薄壁部分的冷却曲线进行研究,使用有限元模拟方法预报构件变形和残余应力.ZL205A铝合金大型复杂构件淬火变形主要为径向变形,通过比较淬火后残余应力的6个分量可知正应力远大于剪应力.模拟厚壁在不同换热系数下的淬火效果,发现增加换热系数可以提高厚壁淬火冷却速度,但是作用比较有限. 相似文献
