Source length scales are estimated for the September 14, 2005 solar noise storm from the spectral and temporal observed characteristics of the background continuum fluctuations and clusters of Type I bursts. The characteristic height of the magnetic structure where the noise storm source is located and the size of the source where Type I bursts clustering takes place were calculated. A lower limit for the height of the magnetic structure supporting the noise storm at 237 MHz was estimated too. 相似文献

Both auto-power spectrum and cross-power spectrum need to be controlled in multi-input multi-output (MIMO) random vibration test. During the control process with the difference control algorithm (DCA), a lower triangular matrix is derived from Cholesky decomposition of a reference spectrum matrix. The diagonal elements of the lower triangular matrix (DELTM) may become negative. These negative values have no meaning in physical significance and can cause divergence of auto-power spectrum control. A proportional root mean square control algorithm (PRMSCA) provides another method to avoid the divergence caused by negative values of DELTM, but PRMSCA cannot control the cross-power spectrum. A new control algorithm named matrix power control algorithm (MPCA) is proposed in the paper. MPCA can guarantee that DELTM is always positive in the auto-power spectrum control. MPCA can also control the cross-power spectrum. After these three control algorithms are analyzed, three-input three-output random vibration control tests are implemented on a three-axis vibration shaker. The point source list of the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) is a uniform, all-sky catalogue of bright sources with flux density measurements at high (up to 94 GHz) radio frequencies. We investigated the five-year WMAP list to compile a new catalogue of bright and compact extragalactic radio sources to be potentially studied with Very Long Baseline Interferometry at millimeter wavelengths (mm-VLBI) and Space VLBI (SVLBI). After comparing the WMAP data with the existing mm-VLBI catalogues, we sorted out the yet unexplored sources. Using the 41, 61 and 94 GHz WMAP flux densities, we calculated the spectral indices. By collecting optical identifications, lower-frequency radio flux densities and VLBI images from the literature, we created a list of objects which have not been investigated with VLBI at 86 GHz before. With total flux density at least 1 Jy and declination above −40°, we found 37 suitable new targets. It is a nearly 25% addition to the known mm-VLBI sources. Such objects are also potentially useful as phase-reference calibrators for the future Japanese SVLBI mission ASTRO-G at its highest observing frequency (43 GHz). The phase-referencing capability of ASTRO-G would allow long integrations and hence better sensitivity for observing faint target sources close to suitable phase calibrators in the sky. 相似文献

针对多光谱图像与高空间分辨率全色图像的融合,提出了一种基于小波多分辨分量相关性的图像融合方法.该方法在原始图像小波分解的基础上,对分解得到的高低频分量采用不同的融合规则进行融合,最后逆变换重构得到最终的融合图像.其中,对分解得到的低频分量采用局域相关系数加权融合计算,对高频分量设置一定的约束条件,使相关性较强的部分得到增强,而相关性较弱的部分继续保持.通过实验,与几种典型的图像融合方法就相关系数和光谱扭曲度等指标进行对比,验证该方法在光谱信息保持和空间分辨率提高方面的优势,并实验分析了不同相关系数门限值T的选取对最终融合效果的影响,以针对不同的应用场景做适当的选取. 相似文献

This review covers fairly comprehensively experimental and theoretical research on the fine structure of types zebra pattern
(ZP) and fiber bursts (FB) in solar type II + IV radio bursts. The basic attention is given to the latest experimental data.
A comparative analysis of several recent solar type IV radio outbursts with these fine structure in dynamical radio spectra
is carried out using available ground-based and satellite data (Yohkoh, SOHO, TRACE, RHESSI). New data on microwave zebra
structures and fiber bursts testifies that they are analogous to similar structures observed at meter wavelengths. The discovery
of the superfine structure, in the form of millisecond spikes is the most significant new effect in the cm range. All basic
theoretical models of the zebra pattern and fiber bursts are discussed critically. Two main models are studied for their interpretation:
(i) interactions between electrostatic plasma waves and whistlers, (ii) radio emission at double plasma resonance (DPR). The

We present a preliminary analysis of two quiet Sun transition region areas observed with the SOHO/SUMER spectrometer, using
lines from oxygen, nitrogen and silicon. The average quiet Sun physical parameters are studied as a function of line intensity.
Systematic variations of line position and width with increasing intensity are found. A large number of small-scale active
points have been observed, and preliminary analysis of the physical properties and dynamics of these active features is presented.
A jet-like structure, found in an active point, is also investigated and its velocity along the line of sight determined.
