25 years after their discovery, pulsars still pose fundamental problems, in particular when the whole range of their periodsP is considered: 1.56 ms P0.09 s. This communication reviews my understanding of the pulsar magnetosphere, windzone, and (coherent) radio emission. New are details of the preferred magnetic structure, wind generation, and amplification of the emitted (pseudo) curvature radiation, the inferred brightness of which exceeds that of all other terrestrial and astrophysical sources by many orders of magnitude. 相似文献

Many physical processes precede and accompany the solar energetic particles (SEP) occurrence on the Earth’s orbit. Explosive energy release on the Sun gives rise to a flare and a coronal mass ejection (CME). X-ray and gamma emissions are believed to be connected with flares. Radio emission is signature of disturbances traveling through the corona and interplanetary space. Particles can gain energy both in the flare and the accompanying wave processes. The beginning of the SEP events has the advantage of being the phase most close to the time of acceleration. Influence of interplanetary transport is minimal in the case of first arriving relativistic solar protons recorded by ground based neutron monitors in so called ground-level enhancements (GLE). The early phase of the SEP events attracts attention of many scientists searching for the understanding of particle acceleration. However, they come to the opposite conclusions. While some authors find arguments for coronal mass ejections as a sole accelerator of SEPs, others prove a flare to be the SEP origin. Here, the circumstances of SEP generation for several GLEs of the 23rd solar cycle are considered. Timing of X-ray, CME, and radio emissions shows a great variety from event to event. However, the time of particle ejection from the Sun is closer to maximum of X-ray emission than to any other phenomena considered. No correlation is found between the particle fluxes and the CME characteristics. 相似文献

We have statistically investigated the infrared luminosity of clusters of galaxies in comparison with the known tracers of the cluster mass like the X-ray luminosity and the cluster richness (e.g. the number of member galaxies). Our results show that there is a clear positive correlation of the infrared luminosity with the cluster mass. Quantitatively speaking, the infrared luminosity is on average 20 times higher than the X-ray luminosity. Moreover, the infrared luminosity increases with the redshift. This probably shows that a major part of this infrared luminosity is due to star formation in the member galaxies. Another possible contribution would be the thermal emission from dust particles in the diffuse intracluster medium. However our method does not allow us to infer conclusions about this second hypothesis. Depending on their size and abundance, such particles would contribute to the infrared luminosity of galaxy cluster and have an impact on the cooling function of the baryons and thus on the formation of the large scale structures. 绳系卫星的展开与回收是绳系卫星应用的基础问题,但通过改变系绳拉力来实现展开和回收的方法尚未得到充分研究.将系绳拉力作为控制力,并在时间域内离散,然后利用粒子群优化算法在整个可行域中寻找满足优化指标的最优值,从而得到控制力的变化规律.该控制方法可以使绳系卫星系统在最小摆动、最短时间等最优指标意义下,迅速展开到平衡位置,同时也适用于绳系卫星的回收.仿真结果表明:该控制方法同基于控制展开与回收速度的控制方法相比,展开和回收的时间短、侧向摆动小,具有一定优越性. 相似文献

传统高光谱遥感信息处理算法的执行效率较低,无法满足海量遥感数据的实时处理需求。文章对基于图形处理器(graphic processing unit,GPU)的高光谱遥感信息处理并行优化方法进行了研究,针对高光谱遥感图像混合像元分解中广泛使用的纯净像元指数算法,提出了一种基于矩阵乘法的GPU并行优化算法,并给出了实验比较和性能测试数据。实验表明,该优化方法在保证结果准确性的同时,运行效率显著提升,算法加速比最高达到634倍,验证了基于GPU的高光谱数据处理并行优化算法的有效性,能够较好地满足高光谱遥感信息实时处理的应用需求。 相似文献

Back propagation artificial natural network (BPANN) is a well known and widely used machine learning methodology in the field of remote sensing. In this paper an attempt is made to retrieve the spinach crop parameters like biomass, leaf area index, average plant height and soil moisture content by using the X-band scattering coefficients with BPANN at different growth stages of this crop. The maturity age of this crop was found to be 45 days from the date of sowing. After 45 days from the date of sowing, this crop was cut at a certain height for production. Then, it is a point of interest to investigate the microwave response of variation in production. Significant variations in all the crop parameters were observed after cutting the crop and consequently made the problem more critical. Our work confirms the utility of BPANN in handling such a non-linear data set. The BPANN is essentially a network of simple processing nodes arranged into different layers as input, hidden and the output. The input layer propagates components of a particular input vector after weighting these with synaptic weights to each node in the hidden layer. At each node, these weighted input vector components are added. Each hidden layer computes output corresponding to these weighted sum through a non-linear/linear function (e.g. LOGSIG, TANSIG and PURLIN). These functions are known as transfer functions. Thus, each of the hidden layer nodes compute output values, which become inputs to the nodes of the output layer. At nodes of output layer also a weighted sum of outputs of previous layer (hidden layer) are obtained and processed through a transfer function. Thus, the output layer nodes compute the network output for the particular input vector. In this paper, output nodes use linear transfer function. Different transfer functions e.g. TANSIG, LOGSIG and PURELIN were used and the performance of the ANN was optimized by changing the number of neurons in the hidden layers. The present analysis suggests the need of critical analysis of the BPANN in terms of selection of the best transfer function and other network parameters for the better results. 相似文献

为实现遥感卫星的高精度指向能力,对遥感卫星星上常用执行机构控制力矩陀螺扰动及性能指标评定进行了研究。首先,充分考虑小型控制力矩陀螺的静动不平衡量以及框架轴的安装误差,根据动量定理和动量矩定理建立了完整的星载小型控制力矩陀螺的动力学模型,并对所建立模型的正确性进行了理论分析和仿真验证;其次,将含有扰动特性的小型控制力矩陀螺应用到星上,建立了整星动力学模型,并选用合适的框架伺服控制系统和转子伺服控制系统,完成整星的姿态稳定控制任务;最后,采用数值仿真的方式分析了陀螺转子静动不平衡因素以及框架角测量误差对星体姿态精度和稳定度带来的影响。结合任务要求,对小型控制力矩陀螺设计提出静动不平衡量等指标要求,以期使其满足星上光学有效载荷的成像要求。 相似文献
