Progress of super-pressure balloon development: A new “tawara” concept with improved stability

The super-pressure balloon (SPB) has been expected to be a flight vehicle that can provide a long flight duration to science. Since 1997, we have developed the SPB. Now we are at the phase of developing an SPB of a practical size. In 2009, we carried out a test flight of a pumpkin-shaped SPB with a 60,000 m³ volume. The undesirable result of this flight aroused us to resolve the deployment instability of the pumpkin-shaped SPB, which has been known as one of the most challenging issues confronting SPB development. To explore this deployment issue, in 2010, we carried out a series of ground tests. From results of these tests, we found that an SPB design modified from pumpkin, named “tawara”, can be a good candidate to greatly improve the deployment stability of the lobed SPB.     

大型贮箱结构及工艺性研究

通过分析贮箱的类型及特点,研究贮箱放置布局,并以土星V为例研究分析了大型贮箱结构特点和制造的工艺性,提出了大型贮箱结构方案和制造工艺的发展方向。     

用于加筋结构的半连续有限元模型

针对飞机损伤结构安全性评定的要求,为减小加筋壁板有限元分析的计算规模,本文提出了一种二维有限元筋条模型———半连续模型。该模型可用来分析三维的飞机加筋壁板结构,分析精度及可信度显著地优于二维平条模型,与三维及准三维模型相当,而分析工作量及复杂性小于后两种模型。半连续模型还可推广用于其他薄壁结构,只要构成结构的各板元之间是正交连接而非斜交连接的。     

A serendipitous survey for galaxy clusters by the XMM-Newton Survey Science Center

We describe the initial results of a programme to detect and identify extended X-ray sources found serendipitously in XMM-Newton observations. We have analyzed 186 EPIC-PN images at high galactic latitude with a limiting flux of 1 × 10⁻¹⁴ erg cm⁻² s⁻¹ and found 62 cluster candidates. Thanks to the enhanced sensitivity of the XMM-Newton telescopes, the new clusters found in this pilot study are on the average fainter, more compact, and more distant than those found in previous X-ray surveys. At our survey limit the surface density of clusters is about 5 deg⁻². We also present the first results of an optical follow-up programme aiming at the redshift measurement of a large sample of clusters. The results of this pilot study give a first glimpse on the potential of serendipitous cluster science with XMM-Newton based on real data. The largest, yet to be fulfilled promise is the identification of a large number of high-redshift clusters for cosmological studies up to z = 1 or 1.5.

工程结构系统在地震作用下的设计要求是“小震不坏,大震不倒”,现行的概念设计加抗震验算设计方法给出的只能是一个可用解,而不是满足“大震不倒”要求的最优解。本文结合钢筋混凝土框架结构,讨论了根据工程结构“大震不倒”的要求反演优化设计工程结构的有关参数(如钢筋混凝土框架的配筋率、混凝土标号、截面尺寸等)的概念、方法并给出了算例,说明这种不同于传统结构设计的新的设计理念是可行的,有关方法是有效的。

－类非线性微分方程解空间显易结构的唯一性

对所有形如的方程的集合Ｅ（Ｄ），引入线性变换群Ｇ（Ｄ），从而将Ｅ（Ｄ）进行等价分类，并由此提出解空间显易结构唯一性概念，指出Ｂｅｒｎｏｕｌｌｉ类方程具第一显易结构，但其显易结构不唯一，而任何非Ｂｅｒｎｏｕｌｌｉ类方程着具显易结构，则其显易结构必唯一．

准稳定三波结构的研究

对超声速流中准稳定三波结构进行了研究，该结构中主激波以一定的速度D沿超声速流运动，它不但引起相应的反射激波运动而且会使激波后气流中的一系列气动力参数发生变化，包括总压、总焓和熵等。本研究给出了这些量与入射激波强度之间的关系。在一定的速度D的情况下，给出了三波结构的力学相容性条件是可以被破坏的。
