The electrostatic charging of ASTROD I test mass (the Astrodynamical Space Test of Relativity using Optical Devices I) will disturb its pure geodesic motion due to spurious Coulomb and Lorentz forces. The three main disturbances associated with the charging are the acceleration noise of the test mass, the coupling between the test mass and the spacecraft, the appearance of unwanted coherent Fourier components in the measurement bandwidth. By implementing the same geometry and physics models in our previous work, a positive charging rate of 9369 e+/s for the solar energetic particles (SEPs) event on October 19th 1989 is predicted. Based on these charging rates, we calculated the acceleration noise and stiffness associated with charging. We also compared the acceleration noises arising from Coulomb and Lorentz effects using different discharge characteristics. Although the noise due to charging exceeds the ASTROD I budget for the two events at 0.5 AU, it can be suppressed through continuous discharging. In addition to Monte Carlo uncertainty, an error of ±30% in the net charging rates was added to account for uncertainties in the primaries spectra, physics and geometry models.  相似文献

YES2 (launching 2007) aims to demonstrate a tether-assisted re-entry concept, whereby payload will be returned to Earth using momentum provided from a swinging tether. Deployment takes place in two phases: (1) deployment of 3.5 km of tether to the local vertical and hold, and (2) deployment to 30 km for a swinging cut. Optimal trajectories are determined for both phases after comparing the effect of different cost functions on the deployment dynamics. Closed-loop control is provided by linearizing the dynamics around the optimal trajectories and solving a receding horizon control problem for a set of linear feedback gains. The controllers are tested in a flexible tether model with large disturbances to the hardware model and environmental variables. Closed-loop simulations show that the system can be controlled quite well using only feedback of length and length rate.  相似文献

The paper concerns the general problem of a bounded final state control of non-linear dynamic systems with reference to near-optimal predictive guidance for low lift-to-drag ratio re-entry vehicles. More specifically, it addresses deriving guidance strategies capable to provide a maximal downrange maneuvrability for a maximal remaining flight time. Such robust, “guaranteed”, or assured, guidance keeps the remaining range-to-go to be coincident with the center of instant attainability domain. The paper discusses the existing guaranteed guidance strategy, and presents more general approach that provides an on-board planning of the entry trajectory, thus giving future state and control profiles. As a consequence the proposed guidance law is able to satisfy not only specified terminal conditions but also typical inequality constraints such as the maximal load factor and heat load. Computer simulations show that the algorithm can generate the feasible trajectories with equal downrange margins, using simple two-parametric families of control functions.  相似文献

This paper presents the design and validation of a measurement system for the aerodynamic characteristics of micro aerial vehicles. Micro aerial vehicles are very small, have a wingspan of about 100–150 mm, and operate at relatively low Reynolds numbers. A precision aerodynamic balance was designed in order to measure the lift, drag, rolling-moment, and pitching-moment of micro air vehicles, as these parameters are too small to be determined by general-purpose aerodynamic measurement systems. During the design process, the aerodynamic balance was analyzed with the finite-element method in order to produce an optimal design and was calibrated as well. The calibration results and the finite element analysis results were compared and found to be in good agreement and the final design was determined to be acceptable. In addition, a computer-based data acquisition system has been developed to acquire measurement data from the aerodynamic balance. Wind tunnel tests of a 2D airfoil were performed to validate the aerodynamic measurement system. Results of the wind tunnel tests were compared with references and found to be in good agreement. Finally, we measured aerodynamic characteristics of MAV wing model used in Batwing with the developed aerodynamic measurement system.  相似文献

High combustion temperatures and long operation durations require the use of cooling techniques in liquid propellant rocket engines (LPRE). For high-pressure and high-thrust rocket engines, regenerative cooling is the most preferred cooling method. Traditionally, approximately square cross sectional cooling channels have been used. However, recent studies have shown that by increasing the coolant channel height-to-width aspect ratio and changing the cross sectional area in non-critical regions for heat flux, the rocket combustion chamber gas-side wall temperature can be reduced significantly without an increase in the coolant pressure drop. In this study, the regenerative cooling of a liquid propellant rocket engine has been numerically simulated. The engine has been modeled to operate on a LOX/kerosene mixture at a chamber pressure of 60 bar with 300 kN thrust and kerosene is considered as the coolant. A numerical investigation was performed to determine the effect of different aspect ratio and number of cooling channels on gas-side wall and coolant temperatures and pressure drop in cooling channels.  相似文献

A refined trigonometric shear deformation theory (RTSDT) taking into account transverse shear deformation effects is presented for the thermoelastic bending analysis of functionally graded sandwich plates. Unlike any other theory, the number of unknown functions involved is only four, as against five in case of other shear deformation theories. The theory presented is variationally consistent, does not require shear correction factor, the displacement components are expressed by trigonometric series representation through the plate thickness to develop a two-dimensional theory and gives rise to transverse shear stress variation such that the transverse shear stresses vary parabolically across the thickness satisfying shear stress free surface conditions. The sandwich with homogeneous facesheet and FGM core is considered. Material properties of the present FGM core are assumed to vary according to a power law distribution in terms of the volume fractions of the constituents. The influences played by the transverse shear deformation, thermal load, plate aspect ratio, and volume fraction distribution are studied. Numerical results for deflections and stresses of functionally graded metal–ceramic plates are investigated. It can be concluded that the proposed theory is accurate and simple in solving the thermoelastic bending behavior of functionally graded plates.  相似文献

本文研究条带式太阳帆在近地轨道运行进出地球阴影时的热致结构动力学响应,建立了在太阳热辐射和光压共同作用下的太阳帆结构动力学方程,采用分布传递函数法,给出了条带式太阳帆热致结构稳态振动幅频响应的计算方法。算例结果表明:热辐射冲击是引起近地轨道太阳帆结构动力学响应的主要原因,光压引起的结构响应可忽略不计;增加桅杆壁厚不能有效抑制太阳帆的热致结构动态响应;增大阻尼,减小结构的热膨胀系数能够明显减小太阳帆热致结构响应的振幅;热致结构动态响应是设计大尺寸近地轨道太阳帆必须解决的问题。本文提出的方法可为太阳帆结构设计、姿态和轨道控制提供有力的分析工具。  相似文献
