The leakage reactance of the machine is expressed as an equation involving slot leakage, end-connection leakage, differential leakage, stator-halves leakage, and tooth-top leakage reactance. This leakage reactance equation, or objective function, is then minimized under suitable constraints. Geometric programming is used to carry through the optimization procedure. A computer program is developed and applied to find the optimum leakage reactance for a 95 kVA, 208 V, wye-connected, 40 800 r/min aerospace alternator, using 8-, 10-, and 12-pole machines. 相似文献

Based on the relationship between the inputand output correlation functions for a symmetric2N step optimum quantizer withGaussian noise inputs a computer programwas generated to obtain plots of the inputnumber of levels versus dynamic range of thequantizer. For it to be physically useful thedynamic range should be related to the distortionin the fundamental band and thedesired harmonic suppression. A definitionbased upon these considerations is suggestedand curves are plotted for two different fundamentaldistortion levels and three differentlevels of harmonic suppression. It is foundthat, for low levels of harmonic suppression(0-20 dB range), the dynamic range can beincreased by tolerating a higher level of fundamentaldistortion. In the medium range ofharmonic suppression (20-35 dB), any increasein the dynamic range due to higherfundamental distortion levels disappearsfor high level quantizers (typically 4 bitsor more). An analysis is given of the tracking accuracy of a conopulse radar that angle-tracks on target echo pulses. The analysis includes effects of noises in both sum and difference channels, the effect of the tracking range gate's duration, and applies to any shape of radio frequency (RF) pulse envelope. For large single-pulse signalto-noise ratio and any shape of RF pulse envelope, accuracy approaches the theoretical accuracy of a conopulse system when a short-duration range gate is used. Centralized/distributed recursive algorithms for temporal-spatial information integration using the Dempster-Shafer technique are developed. Compared with the Bayesian approach, the Dempster-Shafer technique has the strong capability of handling information uncertainties, which are particularly desirable in many applications. In the centralized integration algorithm, all information is pooled into the central processor and integrated. In contrast, the distributed integration algorithm shares the computational burden among the local processors, which increases the computational efficiency. 在北航的风洞中进行了双立尾-三角翼布局的立尾抖振实验,目的是研究立尾抖振产生的原因.主要采用了激光测振仪测立尾加速度和动态压力传感器测立尾表面的动态压力的实验方法.实验结果表明在旋涡破裂以后,立尾上就会产生强烈的抖振.抖振是由立尾上表面压力的周期性脉动造成的.对机翼和立尾表面的压力频谱分析表明,立尾上的压力脉动来源于机翼前旋涡破裂流中的螺旋波.对于本实验使用的模型来说,当机翼迎角α=0°~20°范围,由于流动是附着流和涡流,所以立尾没有明显抖振;当机翼迎角在α=20°~56°范围,立尾处在破裂涡流的范围,立尾抖振明显,并且抖振强度在35°~50°之间达到最大.因此,三角翼破裂涡流中的螺旋波正是双立尾产生抖振的主要原因. 相似文献

According to their chemical composition, rich in volatile compounds, comets are thought to be primitive materials. They may provide prime samples for the study of nucleosynthetic components of the solar system and of the processes occurring during the formation of the outer planets. Their origin is largely a matter of conjecture. Chromium isotopic measurements in carbonaceous chondrites illustrate how the non-volatile part of cometary material can be investigated both for isotopic heterogeneity and for the extinct nuclide 53Mn. The main aspects of the Martian stratigraphy have been determined from the detailed study of Mariner 9 and Viking Orbiter images. Three major stratigraphic systems, the Noachian System, the Hesperian System, and the Amazonian System, are inferred from these studies. The global geological evolution of Mars is essentially derived from its stratigraphy. It reveals that tectonism and volcanism were widespread during two major periods (Noachian and Lower Hesperian) and became more localized during the Upper Hesperian and Amazonian periods. The transition between these two major periods occurred about 2 Ga ago, and significant geologic activity could still be present. However, a number of geologic features and processes remain little understood. Future investigations, including complete high resolution imaging and detailed mapping, geochemical mapping, in situ chemical analyses, etc., will be necessary in order to improve our knowledge of the Martian stratigraphy and geologic evolution and are essential to prepare any future Mars Sample Return mission and the Human Exploration of this planet. 相似文献

The problem of determining the cross-correlation properties of signals based on algebraically constructed Costas arrays is addressed by examining the discrete cross-correlation of the algebraically constructed Costas arrays for a given construction and dimension. Finding two arrays that minimally correlate implies that the signals based on these arrays also minimally correlate. The properties of finite fields are reviewed, and the major algebraic constructions for Costas arrays are presented, i.e. the Welch construction and the Golomb construction. The discrete cross-correlation properties of the Costas arrays are derived for arrays of the same dimension derived from the same construction. The use of Costas arrays in the signal design problem is discussed, and examples are given to show the cross-correlation of the signals based on the algebraically constructed arrays 相似文献
