AIRCRAFT CONCEPT EVALUATION AND EFFECTIVENESS-BASED DECISION-MAKING

Based on effectiveness analysis, a novel method is presented for combat aircraft top-hierarchy concept evaluation and decision-making. Applying multi-criterion decision-making （MCDM） and analytic hierarchy process, the new method can help to overcome the limitations of existing evaluation systems and decision-make methods. The proposed method includes the following process~ （1） Establish a multi-criterion and multi-hierarchy evaluation attribute system by introducing combat effectiveness~ （2） Assign weight to the attributes and normalize them; （3） Evaluate and decision-make top-hierarchy aircraft concept based on effectiveness to reach a satisfactory design by comprehensively applying four multi-criterion decision-making methodologies, i.e. grey correlation pro- jection method, weighted summation method, weighted quadrature method and ideal solution decision-making method, while considering the attribute hierarchy system and the logical relations among the attributes. Finally, an example is given to indicate the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.     

Analysis on Output Power for Multi-direction Piezoelectric Vibration Energy Harvester

To predict the performance of multi-direction piezoelectric vibration energy harvester,an equation for calculating its output power is obtained based on elastic mechanics theory and piezoelectricity theory.Experiments are performed to verify theoretical analysis.When the excitation direction is along Y direction,a maximal output power about 0.139 mW can be harvested at a resistive load of 65kΩ and an excitation frequency of 136 Hz.Theoretical analysis agrees well with experimental results.Furthermore,the performance of multi-direction vibration energy harvester is experimentally tested.The results show that the multi-direction vibration energy harvester can harvest perfect energy as the excitation direction changes in XY plane,YZ plane,XZ plane and body diagonal plane of the harvester.     

Analytical Calculation Model for Mach Wave Parameters

When a wave shaper is embedded in a liner,Mach wave will emerge above the liner,which affects the head shape of an explosively formed projectile.Mach wave parameters,including radius and pressure need to be determined to effectively match Mach wave with the liner,so that a good head shape can be obtained.An analytical calculation model for Mach wave parameter is presented based on three-shock theory,and the theoretical values agree well with the experimental ones.The analysis shows that when the radius of the wave shaper is constant,the radius of the Mach wave increases,whereas the pressure decreases while increasing the distance between the liner and the wave shaper.When the distance between the liner and the wave shaper is constant,the radius of the Mach wave increases,whereas the pressure decreases when decreasing the radius of the wave shaper.

训练飞行不同于航空公司运输飞行,具有训练科目复杂、机组技术水平各异、低空飞行气象要素复杂等特点。本文在考虑训练飞行的特殊性及人的因素等因素影响的同时,利用现有资源对训练指挥席位进行资源管理。

Quantitative Rectangular Notch Detection of Laser-induced Lamb Waves in Aluminium Plates with Wavenumber Analysis

It is difficult to quantitatively detect defects by using the time domain or frequency domain features of Lamb wave signals due to their dispersion and multimodal characteristics.Therefore,it is important to discover an intrinsical parameter of Lamb waves that could be used as a damage sensitive feature.In this paper,quantitative defect detection in aluminium plates is carried out by means of wavenumber analysis approach.The wavenumber of excited Lamb wave mode is a fixed value,given a frequency,a thickness and material properties of the target plate.When Lamb waves propagate to the structural discontinuity,new wavenumber components are created by abrupt wavefield change.The new wavenumber components can be identified in the frequency-wavenumber domain.To estimate spatially dependent wavenumber values,a short-space two-dimensional Fourier transform(FT)method is presented for processing wavefield data of Lamb waves.The results can be used to determine the location,size and depth of rectangular notch.The analysis techniques are demonstrated using simulation examples of an aluminium plate with a rectangular notch.Then,the wavenumber analysis method is applied to simulation data that are obtained through a range of notch depths and widths.The results are analyzed and rules of the technique with regards to estimating notch depth are determined.Based on simulation results,guidelines for using the technique are developed.Finally,experimental wavefield data are obtained in aluminium plates with rectangular notches by a full noncontact transceiving method,i.e.,laser-laser method.Band-pass filtering combined with continuous wavelet transform is used to extract a certain frequency component from the full laser-induced wavefield with wide band.Shortspace two-dimensional FT method is used for further processing full wavefield data at a certain frequency to estimate spatially dependent wavenumber values.The consistency of simulation and experimental results shows the effectiveness of proposed wavenumber method for quantitative rectangular notch detection.     

Fault Estimation and Accommodation for a Class of Nonlinear System Based on Neural Network Observer

The problem of fault estimation and accommodation of nonlinear systems with disturbances is studied using adaptive observer and neural network techniques.A robust adaptive learning algorithm based on switchingβsmodification is developed to realize the accurate and fast estimation of unknown actuator faults or component faults.Then a fault tolerant controller is designed to restore system performance.Dynamic error convergence and system stability can be guaranteed by Lyapunov stability theory.Finally,simulation results of quadrotor helicopter attitude systems are presented to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed techniques.
