This paper presents comparative numerical studies to investigate the effects of blade sweep on inlet flow in axial compressor cascades. A series of swept and straight cascades was modeled in order to obtain a general understanding of the inlet flow field that is induced by sweep.A computational fluid dynamics(CFD) package was used to simulate the cascades and obtain the required three-dimensional(3D) flow parameters. A circumferentially averaged method was introduced which provided the circumferential fluctuation(CF) terms in the momentum equation.A program for data reduction was conducted to obtain a circumferentially averaged flow field.The influences of the inlet flow fields of the cascades were studied and spanwise distributions of each term in the momentum equation were analyzed. The results indicate that blade sweep does affect inlet radial equilibrium. The characteristic of radial fluid transfer is changed and thus influencing the axial velocity distributions. The inlet flow field varies mainly due to the combined effect of the radial pressure gradient and the CF component. The axial velocity varies consistently with the incidence variation induced by the sweep, as observed in the previous literature. In addition, factors that might influence the radial equilibrium such as blade camber angles, solidity and the effect of the distance from the leading edge are also taken into consideration and comparatively analyzed. 相似文献

Due to limitations to extract invariant features for recognition when the aircraft presents various poses and lacks enough samples for training, a novel algorithm called Weighted Marginal Fisher Analysis with Spatially Smooth (WMFA-SS) for extracting invariant features in aircraft rec- ognition is proposed. According to the Graph Embedding (GE) framework, Heat Kernel function is firstly introduced to characterize the interclass separability when choosing the weights of penalty graph. Furthermore, Laplacian penalty is applied to constraining the coefficients to be spatially smooth in this algorithm. Laplacian penalty is able to incorporate the prior information that neigh- boring pixels are correlated. Besides, using a Laplacian penalty can also avoid the singularity of Laplacian matrix of intrinsic graph. Once compact representations of the images are obtained, it can be considered as invariant features and then be performed in classification to recognize different patterns of aircraft. Real aircraft recognition experiments show the superiority of our proposed WMFA-SS in comparison to other GE algorithms and the current aircraft recognition algorithm; the accuracy rate of our proposed method is 90.00% for dataset BH-AIR1.0 and 99.25% for dataset BH-AIR2.0. 相似文献

It is recognized that wide applications of electric vehicles (EVs) will bring tremendous social, economical and ecological benefits. With the growing interests in electric vehicles, much effort is demanded for the development of efficient, reliable and economical AC drives' for EV propulsion purpose. Both induction motor (IM) drives and permanent magnet brushless DC motor (IM) drives have been applied to EVs. Switched reluctance motor (SRM) drives have been proposed as an alternative for EV propulsion. In order to assess the suitability of IM, BDCM and SRM drives for EV applications and to provide a technical support for the development and selection of future EV propulsion systems, the existing EV AC propulsion drives were compared, and a survey of experts' opinions was conducted. Comparison of the three AC drives was made on a relative and a quantitative basis using the survey questionnaires. According to the majority of the experts, induction motor drives are best suited for EV propulsion purpose, due to their low cost, high reliability, high speed, established converter and manufacturing technology, low torque ripple/noise and absence of position sensors. BDCM drives feature compactness, low weight and high efficiency and therefore provide an alternative for EV propulsion. This work introduces an adaptive observation system and a robust control system for achieving the favorable decoupling control and high-precision speed tracking property of an induction motor (IM) drive system. First, an adaptive observation system with an inverse rotor time-constant observer is derived on the basis of model reference adaptive system (MRAS) theory to preserve the decoupling control characteristic of an indirect field-oriented IM drive. The adaptive observation system is implemented using a digital signal processor (DSP) with a high sampling rate to make it possible to achieve good dynamics. Moreover, a robust control system is developed based on the principle of computed torque control. In the robust control system, a grey uncertainty predictor is utilized to adapt the lumped uncertainty on line to relax the requirement of the lumped uncertainty in the design of a computed torque speed controller.
