The aim of this paper is to investigate processes in the magnetosphere and in particular the problems of the interaction of the solar wind with the Earth's magnetic field to produce large-scale convection, electric fields and longitudinal currents in the magnetosphere. The investigation is carried out in the frame of magnetic hydrodynamics. The reason for such an approach can be found in /1/. When calculating the transfer coefficients, the Böhm approximation is used, i.e. it is considered that the plasma in the near-equatorial part of the magnetosphere (quasiplanar geometry is used in the problem for simplification) is sufficiently turbulent that the condition ωτ ≈ 1 is valid (ω is the Larmor frequency of electrons, τ is effective time between two Quasi-collisions). The main subjects of investigation in this paper are the input near the equatorial boundary layer and the plasma layer of the magnetosphere tail.  相似文献

Our empirical model of electron density (ne) for quiet and weakly disturbed geomagnetic conditions (Kp not greater 4) takes account of comparative analysis of existing models and of experimental data obtained by rockets and incoherent scatter radar. The model describes the ne distribution in the 80 to 200 km height range at low and middle latitudes, and to some extent, in the subauroral region. It is presented in analytical form thus allowing one to calculate electron density profiles for any time. The electron density distribution at 140 km depends on the season (day of the year) and on the solar zenith angle. Profile variations during the day are for one season shown. Different from other models, ours specifies the variations during sunrise and sunset and reflects the particular profile shape at night admitting the occurrence of an intermediate layer.  相似文献

Based on the results of plasma and magnetic measurements at three different points of the heliosphere and telescopic observations of the Sun from these points we study simultaneously high-speed streams (HSS) of the solar wind (SW) near the Earths’s orbit and coronal holes (CH) that have generated them. The data from spacecraft STEREO-A, STEREO-B, ACE, and SOHO are used together with ground-based observations from March 2007 to May 2008. In this period there existed HSS whose sources represented CH of various polarity, geometry, and location relative to the heliographic and heliomagnetic equators. Dependence of SW parameters on mutual positions of spacecraft with respect to CH and heliospheric current sheet, and also on heliolatitude and geometry of the CH is revealed. A difference of more than 5° in locations of spacecraft with respect to the heliospheric current sheet in November 2007 allowed us to discover a heliolatitude velocity gradient of the SW streams between the STEREO-A and STEREO-B spacecraft. On the average this gradient at that time was equal to 20 km/s per degree. Substantial variations in SW streams associated with variations of the HSS SW sources during a few hours or days were also observed. This variability makes it difficult to use the data of spacecraft STEREO-B for sufficiently accurate prediction of SW properties in the near-Earth space by the method of simple advanced ti me shift due to heliolongitude difference between a spacecraft and the Earth even in solar activity minimum.  相似文献

The LIULIN-3M instrument is a further development of the LIULIN dosimeter-radiometer, used on the MIR spacestation during the 1988-1994 time period. The LIULIN-3M is designed for continuous monitoring of the radiation environment during the BION-12 satellite flight in 1999. A semiconductor detector with 1 mm thickness and cm2 area is contained in the instrument. Pulse high analysis technique is used to determine the energy losses in the detector. The final data from the instrument are the flux and the dose rate for the exposure time and 256 channels of absorbed dose spectra based on the assumption that the particle flux is normal to the detector. The LIULIN-3M instrument was calibrated by proton fluxes with different energies at the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility in June 1997 and had been used for radiation measurements during commercial aircraft flights. The calibration procedure and some flight results are presented in this paper.  相似文献

Thin films containing a mixture of aliphatic (glycine) and aromatic (tryptophan or tyrosine) amino acids were exposed to a vacuum ultraviolet radiation (VUV) with wavelenghts 100–200 nm. Dipeptides (glycyl-tryptophan and glycyl-tyrosine) were synthesized in these conditions. We compared the actions of VUV and γ-radiation. Polymerization is an essential step in prebiological evolution and we have shown that this stage probably occured over an early Solar system history.  相似文献

The plausible mechanisms of cooling of the nightside Venus' thermosphere are analysed with the aid of the model of the atmospheric heat budget that incorporates, in addition to thermal conduction and IR radiation in the 15 μ band of CO2, heating and cooling due to global scale winds, eddy turbulence, and IR radiation in the rotational bands of H2O and CO, as well as the 63 μ line of atomic oxygen. The H2O mixing ratio and parameters of turbulence required for cooling of the thermosphere down to the observed low temperatures are evaluated.  相似文献

为了明确超高速激光熔化沉积Al-Mg-Sc高强铝合金的沉积态组织及力学性能特征,以 7075铝合金为基体,采用自主开发的LDF3000-40型激光熔化沉积设备制备Al-Mg-Sc高强铝合金,探究激光扫描速度对材料微观组织与室温拉伸性能的影响.结果表明:超高速激光熔化沉积样品均无明显裂纹,但含有少量小尺寸气孔.沉积态组织由细小的α-Al等轴晶及弥散分布的Al3(Sc,Zr)颗粒构成.利用数值模拟进一步研究扫描速度对力学性能的影响,发现在 0.1~1 m/s范围内,较高的激光扫描速度能减少粉末材料的堆积,降低沉积层表面的孔隙率,因此可以提高力学性能.沉积态样品最大抗拉强度为303 MPa,断裂伸长率为22.5%.  相似文献

服役经验表明,由于各种复杂因素,航空发动机和辅助动力装置非包容性转子失效仍会发生。为了分析发动机和辅助动力装置非包容性转子失效给飞机带来的危害,结合咨询通告AC20-128A的要求以及飞机设计的工程经验,开展了不同类型的转子失效模型设计研究。首先介绍了不同类型的碎片定义,其次根据不同的设计要求以及适应场景对转子失效模型进行了定义与分类,最后对不同的转子失效模型的构建方法、设计要点及应用进行了阐述,对于民用飞机发动机和辅助动力装置非包容性转子失效模型的设计与工程应用具有一定的指导意义。  相似文献
