This paper is about a pilot application of narrative psychological content analysis in the psychological status monitoring of Crew 71 of a space analog simulation environment, the Mars Desert Research Station (MDRS). Both the method and its theoretical framework, Scientific Narrative Psychology, are original developments by Hungarian psychologists [5] (László, 2008). The software was NooJ, a multilingual linguistic development environment [11] (Silberztein, 2008). Three measures were conceptualized and assessed: emotional status, team spirit and subjective physical comfort. The results showed the patterns of these three measures on a daily basis at group level, and allowed for detecting individual differences as well. The method is adaptable to languages involved in space psychology, e.g. Russian, French and German in addition to English. 相似文献

Observations of dust in the solar system and in the diffuse interstellar medium are summarized. New measurements of interstellar dust in the heliosphere extend our knowledge about micron-sized and bigger particles in the local interstellar medium. Interplanetary grains extend from submicron- to meter-sized meteoroids. The main destructive effect in the solar system are mutual collisions which provide an effective source for smaller particles. In the diffuse interstellar medium sputtering is believed to be the dominant destructive effect on submicron-sized grains. However, an effective supply mechanism for these grains is presently unknown. The dominant transport mechanisms in the solar system is the Poynting-Robertson effect which sweeps meteoroids bigger than about one micron in size towards the sun. Smaller particles are driven out of the solar system by radiation pressure and electromagnetic interaction with the interplanetary magnetic field. In the diffuse interstellar medium coupling of charged interstellar grains to large-scale magnetic fields seem to dominate frictional coupling of dust to the interstellar gas. 相似文献

Model mechanisms to explain the D-region winter anomaly have so far not really been successful, considering the many different aspects of this atmospheric/ionospheric phenomenon. A new model is therefore proposed relating the winter anomaly essentially to atmospheric temperature and wind variations. Two sublimation experiments with PbTe were performed at 850°C and 750°C under microgravity conditions during the “Salyut-6”-“Soyuz-31” mission in 1978. The sublimation took place on the (100)-face of a PbTe crystal. The condensate grown at 850°C shows in the upper part the formation of a pyramidal habit. The bulk consists of parallel growth colums with [100]-boundary faces. The charge carrier concentration of the electrons (N=1,5·1019 cm?3) is higher than the homogeniety limit for 800°C should permit. This is in contrast to the result obtained on the PbTe crystal of the parallel experiment on the earth. At 750°C a laminated condensate is grown with a low growth rate. The microphotograph of the substrate shows the beginning whisker formation according to the VLS-mechanism. 相似文献

First magnetospheric measurements of the three-dimensional velocity distributions for positive ions and electrons within the energy range 1 eV E/Q 45keV are reported. These velocity distributions are gained with quadrispherical Lepedeas on board the spacecraft ISEE-1 and -2. Three-dimensional bulk flows of protons in the vicinity of the magnetopause and within the dayside magnetosphere and dawn sector of the magnetotail are presented. Proton drift velocities within the magnetosphere and magnetotail can be directly determined and employed to calculate the corresponding quasi-static perpendicular electric fields and to provide quantitative analyses of kinematical models for plasma motions. Nonmonotonic features in the electron velocity distributions are found simultaneously with the presence of electron cyclotron harmonic electrostatic waves in the dayside magnetosphere. The relationship of the observed electron velocity distributions to expectations for resonant pitch-angle and energy diffusion is discussed, as well as the possibility of the existence of proton cyclotron harmonic instabilities. Examples of the signature of field-aligned acceleration of protons into the magnetosphere and the presence of low-energy ionospheric ions in the near-earth magnetotail are also presented. Perpendicular electrostatic fields can be calculated from the observed three-dimensional velocity distributions and are found to have typical magnitudes of 1 mV m-1. 相似文献

This review addresses the deep interior structure of Mercury. Mercury is thought to consist of similar chemical reservoirs
(core, mantle, crust) as the other terrestrial planets, but with a relatively much larger core. Constraints on Mercury’s composition
and internal structure are reviewed, and possible interior models are described. Large advances in our knowledge of Mercury’s
interior are not only expected from imaging of characteristic surface features but particularly from geodetic observations
of the gravity field, the rotation, and the tides of Mercury. The low-degree gravity field of Mercury gives information on
the differences of the principal moments of inertia, which are a measure of the mass concentration toward the center of the
planet. Mercury’s unique rotation presents several clues to the deep interior. From observations of the mean obliquity of
Mercury and the low-degree gravity data, the moments of inertia can be obtained, and deviations from the mean rotation speed
(librations) offer an exciting possibility to determine the moment of inertia of the mantle. Due to its proximity to the Sun,
Mercury has the largest tides of the Solar System planets. Since tides are sensitive to the existence and location of liquid

The Solar Wind and Suprathermal Ion Composition Experiment (SMS) on WIND is designed to determine uniquely the elemental, isotopic, and ionic-charge composition of the solar wind, the temperatures and mean speeds of all major solar-wind ions, from H through Fe, at solar wind speeds ranging from 175 kms–1 (protons) to 1280 kms–1 (Fe+8), and the composition, charge states as well as the 3-dimensional distribution functions of suprathermal ions, including interstellar pick-up He+, of energies up to 230 keV/e. The experiment consists of three instruments with a common Data Processing Unit. Each of the three instruments uses electrostatic analysis followed by a time-of-flight and, as required, an energy measurement. The observations made by SMS will make valuable contributions to the ISTP objectives by providing information regarding the composition and energy distribution of matter entering the magnetosphere. In addition SMS results will have an impact on many areas of solar and heliospheric physics, in particular providing important and unique information on: (i) conditions and processes in the region of the corona where the solar wind is accelerated; (ii) the location of the source regions of the solar wind in the corona; (iii) coronal heating processes; (iv) the extent and causes of variations in the composition of the solar atmosphere; (v) plasma processes in the solar wind; (vi) the acceleration of particles in the solar wind; and (vii) the physics of the pick-up process of interstellar He as well as lunar particles in the solar wind, and the isotopic composition of interstellar helium. 相似文献
