The results of studying an incompressible gas flow field in a periodic element of the porous structure made up of the same radius spheres are presented; the studies were based on the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations using FLUENT software. A weak but statistically reliable dependence of the diurnal activity of oscillations in the ionospheric Alfvén resonator on orientation of the interplanetary magnetic field ahead of the magnetospheric front has been detected based on observations of ULF oscillations at Sayan solar observatory Mondy of the Institute of Solar–Terrestrial Physics. The interpretation of the result has been proposed. The essence is that the electromagnetic fluctuations penetrate into the magnetosphere from the interplanetary environment and influence the ionospheric resonator. The formulation of the problem and the method of solving it are part of the broad program of the experimental and theoretical study of the influence of the interplanetary magnetic field on the oscillation regime of ULF oscillations of the magnetosphere. 相似文献

The imaging capabilities of the Exosat and Einstein satellites at soft X-ray wavelengths have begun to show that suitable Galactic X-ray sources have extended ( 10 arcmin) haloes due to scattering of soft X-rays by interstellar dust. A simple argument suggests that similar haloes, due to scattering by intergalactic dust, should exist around distant (z 1) quasars and detailed analysis confirms this conclusion. A search for such haloes around suitable X-ray quasars could provide valuable, model-independent, constraints on the amount and origin of intergalactic dust. 相似文献

In this paper, we examine experimentally some devices the principle of action of which is based on using the dynamic pressure of air extracted to engine cooling and which are meant for reducing the radial temperature gradient in GTE rotor disks. We established that the devices equipped with the ejector channels make it possible to accelerate the process of the disk hub heating by hot air suction from the cavity periphery towards the rotor axis of rotation. Using the data of visualization studies, we show the possibility for efficient operation of ejector devices in the conditions of real GTE rotor circumferential velocities. 相似文献

A database of electron temperature (Te) measurements comprising of most of the available satellite measurements in the topside ionosphere is used for studying the solar activity variations of the electron temperature Te at different latitudes, altitudes, local times and seasons. The Te data are grouped into three levels of solar activity (low, medium, high) at four altitude ranges, for day and night, and for equinox and solstices. We find that in general Te changes with solar activity are small and comparable in magnitude with seasonal changes but much smaller than the changes with altitude, latitude, and from day to night. In all cases, except at low altitude during daytime, Te increases with increasing solar activity. But this increase is not linear as assumed in most empirical Te models but requires at least a parabolic approximation. At 550 km during daytime negative as well as positive correlation is found with solar activity. Our global data base allows to quantify the latitude range and seasonal conditions for which these correlations occur. A negative correlation with solar activity is found in the invdip latitude range from 20 to 55 degrees during equinox and from 20 degrees onward during winter. In the low latitude (20 to −20 degrees invdip) F-region there is almost no change with solar activity during solstice and a positive correlation during equinox. A positive correlation is also observed during summer from 30 degrees onward. 相似文献

This paper applies the Detached-Eddy Simulation (DES) method to resolve a larger part of the flow spectrum around rotor blades in hover and forward flight. In the present work, the asymptotic dependence of the reservation multiplicity on the failure danger diminution coefficient in both cases of reservation replacement and continually acting reserver is investigated. The comparison of the method of reservation for different multiplicities with the method of diminution of the failure intensity, related to the mean performance time shows that the decrease of the failure intensity of the plazma engine is the most rational. Nevertheless, there is a value of the time flight for which even a simple duplication is better than arbitrarily large, though finite, failure intensity decrease of the engine. The reliability of coupled MOD-thrusters is verified experimentally. The specific character of the thruster V-I curves and, in particular, their increase in the pubricrcrisis region, yield normally working couples, conformly to many types of feed sources with weakly decreasing of constant V-I characteristics. The parallel connection of a second thruster is shown to double the customed current and, as a consequence the thruster intermediary regimes of the thruster and the dynamics of switching on and by breaking the electric line and stopping the propellant rate flow are investigated. 相似文献
