In this paper, we have investigated the responses of the ionospheric F region at equatorial and low latitude regions in the Brazilian sector during the super geomagnetic storm on 15–16 May 2005. The geomagnetic storm reached a minimum Dst of −263 nT at 0900 UT on 15 May. In this paper, we present vertical total electron content (vTEC) and phase fluctuations (in TECU/min) from Global Positioning System (GPS) observations obtained at Belém, Brasília, Presidente Prudente, and Porto Alegre, Brazil, during the period 14–17 May 2005. Also, we present ionospheric parameters h’F, hpF2, and foF2, using the Canadian Advanced Digital Ionosonde (CADI) obtained at Palmas and São José dos Campos, Brazil, for the same period. The super geomagnetic storm has fast decrease in the Dst index soon after SSC at 0239 UT on 15 May. It is a good possibility of prompt penetration of electric field of magnetospheric origin resulting in uplifting of the F region. The vTEC observations show a trough at BELE and a crest above UEPP, soon after SSC, indicating strengthening of nighttime equatorial anomaly. During the daytime on 15 and 16 May, in the recovery phase, the variations in foF2 at SJC and the vTEC observations, particularly at BRAZ, UEPP, and POAL, show large positive ionospheric storm. There is ESF on the all nights at PAL, in the post-midnight (UT) sector, and phase fluctuations only on the night of 14–15 May at BRAZ, after the SSC. No phase fluctuations are observed at the equatorial station BELE and low latitude stations (BRAZ, UEPP, and POAL) at all other times. This indicates that the plasma bubbles are generated and confined on this magnetically disturbed night only up to the low magnetic latitude and drifted possibly to west. 相似文献

设计状态的机翼气动力特性是设计人员最为关心的指标, 应用控制理论设计方法进行了有升力约束情形下跨音速机翼阻力优化设计研究, 根据给定的目标函数推导了相应的共轭方程和边界条件, 研究了共轭方程的数值求解方法, 以及计算目标函数对设计变量的敏感性导数时所涉及的度量矩阵变分求解问题, 研究了流场计算、共轭方程数值求解、敏感性导数求解和拟牛顿优化算法这几个主要方面的有效结合问题, 发展出了一种跨音速机翼气动力优化设计方法, 进行了跨音速机翼气动力优化设计研究验证, 优化后机翼气动力特性有一定程度的改善, 阻力系数能减少20%左右, 而升力系数有所增大, 说明所发展的设计方法是成功的, 该设计方法在跨音速及复杂外形气动设计方面比以往设计方法具有更好的适用性和优越性。 相似文献

随着航空飞行器的不断发展,新型非常规气动布局研究早已成为世界航空大国的关注焦点。基于TRIP 3.0软件平台通过等效盘模型应用到涵道风扇内外流一体化模拟中,完成对类BWB低速布局有无涵道风扇动力下的气动特性和流场影响分析。首先,对某单独螺旋桨验证算例进行分析;然后,对单独涵道风扇进行计算,得到设计推力下的涵道动力叶片数、安装角及转速等参数;最后,将设计推力下涵道动力参数应用到类BWB低速布局全机有无动力模拟中。结果表明:计算拉力和扭矩值与试验值吻合较好;尾部布置的涵道动力对机身后段及尾翼压力分布影响显著;涵道对前方气流抽吸作用,加速机身后段上表面气流流速,减小内侧平尾有效迎角,对机身和平尾升力以及俯仰力矩系数影响较大;在小迎角状态下,涵道动力对机身增升作用明显,会产生明显低头力矩,但对平尾作用正好相反,且两者增量大小相当,使得全机增升效果不显著,且俯仰力矩变化较小。 相似文献

PSR J0437-4715 is one of the closest millisecond pulsars (MSPs) to Earth, lying at a distance of ∼140 pc. This pulsar has a characteristic age of 4.9 Gyr and a relatively low spindown power of ∼1034 ergs/s. During its rather long lifetime, a large fraction of the energy output has been in the form of multi-TeV electrons. In this paper, we investigate the possible contribution of this nearby MSP to the local interstellar electron spectrum (LIS). The old age of the system justifies a steady-state evaluation of the contribution from this pulsar to the LIS. We calculate the electron spectrum at the light cylinder in the framework of a General Relativistic polar cap (PC) model, and use this as an injection spectrum in a diffusion model. The younger Geminga pulsar is also very close to Earth and warrants investigation. A steady-state approach is however no longer justified, so we use an impulsive injection model. We will present results of a study of the contribution from these pulsars to the cosmic ray (CR) LIS. Our calculations show that pulsars like Geminga can make a non-negligible contribution to the LIS. 相似文献

In October of 2005, the European Space Agency (ESA) and Alcatel Alenia Spazio released a "call to academia for innovative concepts and technologies for lunar exploration." In recent years, interest in lunar exploration has increased in numerous space programs around the globe, and the purpose of our study, in response to the ESA call, was to draw on the expertise of researchers and university students to examine science questions and technologies that could support human astrobiology activity on the Moon. In this mini review, we discuss astrobiology science questions of importance for a human presence on the surface of the Moon and we provide a summary of key instrumentation requirements to support a lunar astrobiology laboratory. 相似文献

In order to gain a better knowledge of the mechanisms and to calibrate computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools including both Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) and large eddy simulation (LES),a detailed and accurate experimental study of corner stall in a linear compressor cascade has been carried out.Data are taken at a Reynolds number of 382 000 based on blade chord and inlet velocity.At first,inlet flow boundary layer is surveyed using hot-wire anemometry.Then in order to investigate the effects of incidence,measurements are acquired at five incidences,including static pressures on both blade and endwall surfaces measured by pressure taps and the total pressure losses of outlet flow measured by a five-hole pressure probe.The maximum losses as well as the extent of losses of the corner stall are presented as a function of the investigated incidences. 相似文献
