In absence of forces, any object moves along the straightest possible path in space–time, called geodesic. The presence of a gravity field generates a space–time distortion that reflects on a curvature of the geodesics. Outer space yields a privileged environment to achieve high levels of geodesic purity, thanks to the absence of many non-gravitational force disturbances typical of the Earth, mainly due to the atmosphere, micro-seismic activity, stray electro-magnetic fields, etc. Many experiments in the field of Fundamental Physics, General Relativity and Earth Observation are performed through space missions, in which objects are either set in geodesic conditions or their deviation from a geodesic is measured. BepiColombo is scheduled for launch in August 2013 and to arrive after a nearly six-year long transfer at Mercury in June 2019. The trajectory has a number of challenging elements: a launch with Soyuz/Fregat into a geostationary transfer orbit, followed by a lunar flyby, long low-thrust arcs and five more planetary flybys (one at the Earth, two at Venus and two at Mercury). At arrival the low thrust arcs reduce the approach velocity so much that BepiColombo passes by the Sun–Mercury Lagrange points L1 and L2 and gets weakly captured in a highly eccentric orbit around Mercury in case the orbit insertion manoeuvre would fail.This paper describes the navigation strategy during the final phase. Five trajectory correction manouevres during the last 65 days requiring up to 20 m/s (3σ) are proposed. With this strategy it is possible to navigate BepiColombo safely through the weak-stability boundary of Mercury and to reach the target periherm with a precision of 11 km. 相似文献

研究了分段刚度描述的间隙约束二元翼段气动弹性系统,取俯仰角最大幅值处为类Poincaré截面,数值计算得到了系统随飞行速度变化的分岔图,发现飞行速度在Ma=0.71~0.75属于跨临界颤振区,而在Ma=0.75~0.95发生极限环震荡.同时通过构造极限环震荡的四维Poincaré映射分析了极限环震荡的稳定性,结合稳定性和运动流形理论,得到极限环震荡的吸引域一般位于极限环内部并用数值方法进行了验证.且跨临界颤振速度区域中存在多种分岔形式以及多解共存现象,例如由双周期运动直接通向混沌、多周期运动与双周期运动共存现象,振动幅值也存在跳跃现象. 相似文献

研究了以减重为目标的航空发动机离心叶轮结构优化问题,将Kriging模型与遗传算法相结合,应用拉丁方试验设计和有限元分析生成初始样本数据,利用初始样本数据建立离心叶轮重量和最大应力等状态参数的Kriging模型,运用遗传算法对该Kriging模型在设计空间进行全局寻优,利用有限元分析方法计算近似最优设计点的状态参数,并以此更新已有的设计样本数据,不断提高Kriging模型的近似精度.计算结果表明,基于Kriging模型-遗传算法的离心叶轮结构优化设计方法不仅可以获得良好的优化结果,比直接用遗传算法寻优减少了大量计算时间,提高了设计效率,同多项式模型-遗传算法相比也有效率优势. 相似文献

Chemolithoautotrophy based on reduced inorganic minerals is considered a primitive energy transduction system. Evidence that a high number of meteorites crashed into the planet during the early period of Earth history led us to test the ability of iron-oxidizing bacteria to grow using iron meteorites as their source of energy. Here we report the growth of two acidophilic iron-oxidizing bacteria, Leptospirillum ferrooxidans and Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans, on a piece of the Toluca meteorite as the only source of energy. The alteration of the surface of the exposed piece of meteorite, the solubilization of its oxidized metal constituents, mainly ferric iron, and the formation of goethite precipitates all clearly indicate that iron-meteorite-based chemolithotrophic metabolism is viable. 相似文献

The objectives of the IGS include the regular computation of precise orbits for the GPS satellites, an essential prerequisite for geodetic, geophysical and navigation applications of GPS relying on accuracies at the level of metres to centimetres. This involves the deployment of advanced GPS receivers at a considerable number of globally distributed ground points, including several ESA tracking sites; the largely automated daily retrieval and processing of large amounts of remotely generated data; and regular independent comparisons of solutions computed by the various participating analysis centres, showing for example differences of typically 15 cm in solutions for all orbits in the GPS constellation.
