Microstructure control always plays a key role in enhancing properties of high-strength AI alloys. Attempts to improve the micro-structure of 7000 series alloys by addition of 1.0 wt% Li have been made for a long time, but unsystematically. This article compares the microstructural features of 1.0 wt% Li-containing AI-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy with those of Li-free Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy by using differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) techniques, Vickers microhardness and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show the dominance of Guinier Preston (GP) zones, η' or η phases in 1.0 wt% Li-coutaining Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy, and confirm the capability of Li to retard the rate of precipitates growth and coarsening. 相似文献

Two Al2O3/Cu composites containing 0.24 wt.% Al2O3 and 0.60 wt.% Al2O3 separately are prepared by internal oxidation. Effects of sliding speed and pressure on the frictional characteristics of the composites and copper against brass are investigated and compared. The changes in morphology of the sliding surface and subsurface are examined with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrum (EDS). The results show that the wear resistance of the Al2O3/Cu composites is superior to that of copper under the same conditions, Under a given electrical current, the wear rate of Al2O3/Cu composites decreases as the Al2O3-content increases, However, the wear rates of the Al2O3/Cu composites and copper increase as the sliding speed and pressure increase under dry sliding condition. The main wear mechanisms for Al2O3/Cu composites are of abrasion and adhesion; for copper, it is adhesion, although wear by oxidation and electrical erosion can also be observed as the speed and pressure rise. 相似文献

A linear stability analysis is applied to determine the onset of oscillatory thermocapillary convection in cylindrical liquid bridges of large Prandtl numbers (4 Pr 50). We focus on the relationships between the critical Reynolds number Rec, the azimuthal wave number m, the aspect ratio Γ and the Prandtl number Pr. A detailed Rec–Pr stability diagram is given for liquid bridges with various Γ. In the region of Pr > 1, which has been less studied previously and where Rec has been usually believed to decrease with the increase of Pr, we found Rec exhibits an early increase for liquid bridges with Γ around one. From the computed surface temperature gradient, it is concluded that the boundary layers developed at both solid ends of liquid bridges strengthen the stability of basic axisymmetric thermocapillary convection at large Prandtl number, and that the stability property of the basic flow is determined by the “effective” part of liquid bridge. 相似文献

Studies on the colonization of environmentally extreme ground surfaces were conducted in a Mars-like desert area of Inner Mongolia, People's Republic of China, with microalgae and cyanobacteria. We collected and mass-cultured cyanobacterial strains from these regions and investigated their ability to form desert crusts artificially. These crusts had the capacity to resist sand wind erosion after just 15 days of growth. Similar to the surface of some Chinese deserts, the surface of Mars is characterized by a layer of fine dust, which will challenge future human exploration activities, particularly in confined spaces that will include greenhouses and habitats. We discuss the use of such crusts for the local control of desert sands in enclosed spaces on Mars. These experiments suggest innovative new directions in the applied use of microbe-mineral interactions to advance the human exploration and settlement of space. 相似文献

研究了对干涉合成孔径雷达系统有重要影响的基线的估计方法。根据多飞干涉合成孔径雷达系统的特性,基线在平台的运动过程中是变化的。为了充分利用现有的资料,首先根据干涉系统的轨道参数计算基线参数,然后利用有限的参考点信息,如角闪烁器,形成迭代算法,从而实现准确估计基线在运动中特征的目的。意大利Etna火山口数据的处理结果验证了本文提出算法的可靠性。 相似文献
