In this work, we summarize the development and current status of the Global Muon Detector Network (GMDN). The GMDN started in 1992 with only two muon detectors. It has consisted of four detectors since the Kuwait-city muon hodoscope detector was installed in March 2006. The present network has a total of 60 directional channels with an improved coverage of the sunward Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) orientation, making it possible to continuously monitor cosmic ray precursors of geomagnetic storms. The data analysis methods developed also permit precise calculation of the three dimensional cosmic ray anisotropy on an hourly basis free from the atmospheric temperature effect and analysis of the cosmic ray precursors free from the diurnal anisotropy of the cosmic ray intensity. 相似文献

A stable, observable liquid-gas interface was realized in an experimental cell (3 × 2 × 1 cm) under microgravity conditions. The liquid used was an aqueous 6.24 10?3 molal solution of n-heptanol. A temperature gradient, established at the interface, resulted in the build-up of a Marangoni convection cell with the liquid flowing in an unusual direction (i.e. at the surface the liquid flowed from the cold to the hot side).The same experiment on Earth gives rise to a Marangoni cell superimposed on buoyancy cells. The young supernova remnant Cas A has been observed with the imaging proportional counter (PSD) of the EXOSAT observatory. High quality spatially resolved, spectral data allow for the first time the determination of the temperature structure of the remnant. This investigation considers the problem of the nonpreemptive scheduling of a set of independent periodic jobs in a computer system characterized by a collection of processors, memories, and interconnection mechanisms. Such a collection of resources can be used to perform the functions of a process control environment as are found, for example, in the avionics of a military or commercial aircraft. The distribution of these resources permits weight, volume, power, cost, and reliability requirements to be satisfied. Each periodic job is characterized by its frequency and its execution time. The inverse of the frequency, the period, is assumed to be an integer, and the initiation time and the completion time of job must be strictly met. An optimal algorithm is developed for a job set whose members are related by a binary frequency distribution. That is, if the jobs in the set are ordered in terms of decreasing job execution frequency, then fi = 2fi+1. The optimal result is generalized to include conditions in which the jobs are related by fi = kfi+1, where k is an integer. 相似文献

本文进行了基于控制论的气动外形反设计方法研究,根据给定的目标函数推导了在物理空间上描述的共轭及相应的边界条件,通过构造共轭方程耗散通量项,以及使用特征线理论处理远场边界等措施,研究了共轭方程的数值求解方法,使用Hicks-Henne函数来描述设计变量扰动对机翼表面外形的影响,通过网格扰动获得度量矩阵变分来获得目标函数对设计变量的敏感性导数,优化过程使用拟牛顿优化算法,通过对流场计算、共轭方程数值求解、敏感性导数求解和优化算法这四个方面的有效结合,成功地发展出了一种机翼气动外形反设计方法,进行了机翼气动外形反设计研究,结果表明该设计方法在设计理论及可实现性方面,特别在跨音速及复杂外形气动设计方面比以往设计方法具有更好的适用性和优越性,且设计结果较为可靠,在现有计算条件下是一个好的设计方法,时间花费也较少。 相似文献
