Analysis of solar degradation to TDRS S-band phased array antenna

A study of the distribution of gain-to-noise-temperature (G/T) values for the Tracking and Data Relay Satellite (TDRS) satellite is described. The statistics of the G/T values are determined by a Monte Carlo simulation of the orbital geometry of the Sun and Moon, and the gain and noise temperature calculations is included. Performance characteristics of silver catalyst bed for hydrogen peroxide

Hydrogen peroxide as a monopropellant and an oxidizer has been used for well over 60 years. Although much public information has been known on the silver catalyst and its characteristics there is a dearth of specific information on the design of catalyst bed based on silver screen. In this paper activation method that can be adopted easily on silver catalyst is contrived. The experiment data and evaluation results from the fire tests with five catalyst beds are presented including the efficiency of characteristic exhaust velocity, pressure drop at catalyst. A scheme of catalyst arrangement is presented for high concentrated hydrogen peroxide.

硬质聚氨酯具有刚度小、材质松散、易于吸收爆炸能量的特点,是一种很好的隔爆材料。为了设计环形切割器与后级随进战斗部之间的隔爆装置,利用LS-DYNA分别进行了圆柱型、圆锥型、球缺型3种聚氨酯隔爆体的数值模拟研究。通过研究得出结论:球缺型结构既节省材料,又可以更有效地降低前级产生的冲击波对后级战斗部的影响。该结论有助于带环形切割器串联战斗部的隔爆设计。     

民用飞机不同商载配置对机身着陆载荷的影响分析

重量分布和重心位置是影响起落架和机体地面载荷的重要因素,其中商载是影响全机重心、惯量的最活跃因素。飞机实际运营中,有无穷多种商载分布及装载方案。为了确保机身载荷分析时,不遗漏严重设计情况,同时能大大减少载荷人员的工作量,本文对不同商载配置下的机身着陆载荷进行了研究分析,分析结果表明最大商载情况将构成机身垂直剪力和垂直弯矩的严重情况。因此,在进行机身载荷分析时,必须考虑最大商载情况,而最大燃油情况可以不必考虑。这一结论为今后有针对性的开展民机机身载荷分析提供了数据支持。

Adaptive image segmentation using genetic and hybrid search methods

This paper describes an adaptive approach for the important image processing problem of image segmentation that relies on learning from experience to adapt and improve the segmentation performance. The adaptive image segmentation system incorporates a feedback loop consisting of a machine learning subsystem, an image segmentation algorithm, and an evaluation component which determines segmentation quality. The machine learning component is based on genetic adaptation and uses (separately) a pure genetic algorithm (GA) and a hybrid of GA and hill climbing (HC). When the learning subsystem is based on pure genetics, the corresponding evaluation component is based on a vector of evaluation criteria. For the hybrid case, the system employs a scalar evaluation measure which is a weighted combination of the different criteria. Experimental results for pure genetic and hybrid search methods are presented using a representative database of outdoor TV imagery. The multiobjective optimization demonstrates the ability of the adaptive image segmentation system to provide high quality segmentation results in a minimal number of generations
