粗糙表面偏振二向反射分布函数的影响参数及其反演

针对目标偏振二向反射特性研究中模型参数难以准确确定的问题,分析了粗糙表面偏振二向反射分布函数的影响参数,并通过理论推导和仿真计算,研究了各参数对粗糙表面散射特性的作用机理。总结分析了现有参数反演方法,针对现有方法存在的理论缺陷,在P-G(Preist-Germer)模型的基础上,提出了利用"相对偏振分量-角度"的相关关系进行参数反演的方法,设计了参数反演算法,进行了标准反射板和绿漆表面的偏振二向反射特性测试实验,并根据实验数据进行了参数反演和模型验证。实验结果表明,改进的参数反演方法可准确反演所有模型参数。利用反演参数进行模型验证,结果显示模型预测数据与实验数据具有较好的吻合度,验证了模型的准确性。     

Complexity,Forced and/or Self-Organized Criticality,and Topological Phase Transitions in Space Plasmas

The first definitive observation that provided convincing evidence indicating certain turbulent space plasma processes are in states of ‘complexity’ was the discovery of the apparent power-law probability distribution of solar flare intensities. Recent statistical studies of complexity in space plasmas came from the AE index, UVI auroral imagery, and in-situ measurements related to the dynamics of the plasma sheet in the Earth's magnetotail and the auroral zone. In this review, we describe a theory of dynamical ‘complexity’ for space plasma systems far from equilibrium. We demonstrate that the sporadic and localized interactions of magnetic coherent structures are the origin of ‘complexity’ in space plasmas. Such interactions generate the anomalous diffusion, transport, acceleration, and evolution of the macroscopic states of the overall dynamical systems. Several illustrative examples are considered. These include: the dynamical multi- and cross-scale interactions of the macro-and kinetic coherent structures in a sheared magnetic field geometry, the preferential acceleration of the bursty bulk flows in the plasma sheet, and the onset of ‘fluctuation induced nonlinear instabilities’ that can lead to magnetic reconfigurations. The technique of dynamical renormalization group is introduced and applied to the study of two-dimensional intermittent MHD fluctuations and an analogous modified forest-fire model exhibiting forced and/or self-organized criticality [FSOC] and other types of topological phase transitions. Performance of a two-layer LEO satellite communication network

A novel two-layer low Earth orbiting (LEO) satellite network is proposed. Comparing with a single layer global network, not only the system performance is improved but also the number of satellites can be reduced. The main ideas include (1) to raise the altitude of the original global network, and (2) to add several satellites at lower altitude to form a regional network to serve calls from the areas of heavy traffic. In order to fully utilize the benefits of the two-layer network, additional functions such as adjustable beam and dynamic channel management are added. Call blocking rate is derived. Numerical examples are provided to demonstrate several interesting phenomena.

战斗机滚转姿态快速性研究

介绍了战斗机中等幅度滚转姿态快速性的定义，应用欧拉法对19种飞机构形的滚转快速性进行了仿真计算．其结果与地面模拟战斗机攻击机动试验相比较，表明滚转姿态快速性与滚转模态时间常数、滚转操纵效能、副翼操纵速率和控制系统增益等飞行品质要求密切相关，飞行品质标准MIL—STD—1797没有完全涵盖中等幅度滚转姿态变化的要求。     

Effect of errors on a contention-based TDMA protocol

A hybrid contention-based time-division multiple access (TDMA) protocol was previously proposed for data transmission (D. Tsai et al., IEEE Trans. on Communications, COM-36, Feb. 1988, p.225-8). It provides satisfactory performance for an error-free channel. The effect of channel errors on the performance of this protocol is studied. To remain operational the protocol must be modified, and the modified protocol is then analyzed. Results derived include the average of frame length, the number of slots wasted, the number of residual packets, and delay. Numerical examples show that channel errors can sometime be damaging but can be recovered by proper error control codes
