The loss of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is derived when the magnitude of weak signals in noise is discarded and the phase angle is quantized for digital processing. It is shown that very coarse quantization results in only a small loss.  相似文献

由于接收机输入端的信噪比对接收机的捕获性能具有很重要的意义,所以要尽量减少接收机输入端信噪比的损失。本文首先给出了含高斯白噪声的GPS信号经过不同量化位数和量化电平的量化器后的输出信噪比计算公式;然后,在此基础上分析其对接收机捕获性能的影响;最后,仿真实验表明,接收机可以在不影响捕获性能的情况下,尽量选择合适的量化位数和量化门限。实验结果也为量化器的设计提供了重要的技术参考。  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate data quantization effects in constant false alarm rate (CFAR) signal detection. Exponential distribution for the input data and uniform quantization are assumed for the CFAR detector analysis. Such assumptions are valid in the case of radar for a Swerling I target in Gaussian clutter plus noise and a receiver with analog square-law detection followed by analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion. False alarm and detection probabilities of the cell averaging (CA) and order statistic (OS) CFAR detectors operating on quantized observations are analytically determined. In homogeneous backgrounds with 15 dB clutter power fluctuations, we show analytically that a 12-bit uniform quantizer is sufficient to achieve false alarm rate invariance. Detector performance characteristics in nonhomogeneous backgrounds, due to regions of clutter power transitions and multiple interfering targets, are also presented and detailed comparisons are given  相似文献

混合LFM信号广泛存在于实际信号环境巾,对其检测极其重要。对有严重交叉项的混合LFM信号的检测十分困难,因此提出了一种基于独立成分分析的混合LFM信号检测法。通过盲源分离提取各独立成分,利用时频分布矩阵的联合对角化法抑制交叉项,再由各成分信号自项求和重构Wigner-Ville分布,采用Wigner-Hough检测各LFM成分。分析了Wigner-Hough变换输入信噪比和输出信噪比的关系,仿真验证了算法的有效性,得出随着样本点数的增加,在低信噪比条件下,能获得好的检测性能的结论:  相似文献

Calculation of optimum gain for minimum distortion due to A/D (analog-to-digital) conversion requires the estimation of the input signal strength. To use a common AGC (automatic gain control) for both the I/Q (in-phase and quadrature) signals, it is efficient to estimate the input signal strength using the quantized A/D output from both channels. Assuming a Gaussian input, the relationship between σ of the input of the A/D converter and E(|x|+|y|) and E(max(|x|,|y|)+1/2 min (|x|,|y|)) for t quantized I/Q output x and y is derived. Numerical results obtained using the derived expression and the statistical data obtained through simulation show excellent agreement. 针对低信噪比(SNR),复杂噪声工况下,复合故障信号特征难以提取的问题。提出基于相空间重构融入最大相关雷尼熵解卷积的信号特征提取方法,该方法以雷尼熵为敏感特征范数,以最大相关雷尼熵解卷积为基本方法,并在其中融入具有噪声抑制特性和分解特性的相空间重构技术。结果表明:雷尼熵与峭度相比,在故障灵敏度相当并略好的情况下,对偶发噪声敏感度仅为峭度的18.4%。通过仿真验证,实验数据验证以及台架实验验证,证明了本文方法与现有的对比方法相比,在提取复合故障信号特征方面具有优势。  相似文献

An algorithm is presented for maximum posterior probability (MPP) demodulation of angle-modulated signals. A sampled data version of the problem is considered, in which additive Gaussian noise and Gaussian modulating signal are assumed. The algorithm is a numerical method for solving the nonlinear equations which are necessary conditions for MPP estimation. Results of a simulation of the algorithm are presented and discussed. Improvements in performance with respect to a phaselocked loop appear to stem from use of data before and after the time position of a phase estimate and from optimization of performance at low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) as well as at high SNR.  相似文献

 多分量线性调频连续波(LFMCW)信号的截获和特征提取是雷达情报侦察的难点,为了实现对多分量LFMCW信号的快速检测和有效分离,提出了一种基于周期分数阶Fourier变换(PFRFT)的多分量LFMCW雷达信号分离新方法。首先介绍了PFRFT,分析了PFRFT和FRFT之间的关系,讨论了LFMCW信号的PFRFT特征。然后给出了一种离散PFRFT的计算方法,结合周期分数阶Fourier域(PFRFD)的窄带滤波和CLEAN算法实现了多分量LFMCW信号的分离。仿真结果表明:①PFRFT的计算效率较周期Wigner-Hough变换(PWHT)具有明显优势;②LFMCW信号分量在特定PFRFD中具有能量峰值,分离后能较好保留时频特征;③当两个LFMCW信号分量的功率相差较大时,适合在PFRFD分离,反之适合在时域分离;④当信噪比(SNR)为0 dB时,两个具有相同功率的LFMCW信号分量分离后,与初始信号分量的相关系数都达到了0.9以上。  相似文献

针对 GPS M码授权码流获取问题,提出 1种新的基于调制域增强副载波剥离的方法。该方法利用 GPS C/A码和 M码码片起始位的相关性,在调制域上利用 BOC调制短码信息对 GPS M码信号进行累加增强,获取授权码流。首先,利用公开的 GPS C/A码辅助获取 GPS信号载波相位和 C/A码码相位;然后,分别利用获得的 GPS信号载波相位和 C/A码码相位,完成 GPS C/A码与交调量的剥离以及 M码授权码的初始相位对准;进一步,利用 BOC调制短码信息在调制域上实现累加增强,完成副载波剥离,获得 GPS M码授权码流;最后,利用实际采集信号对所提方法有效性进行了验证,并与现有方法进行了对比。结果表明,所提方法能够克服带宽内 P(Y)信号旁瓣能量对 M码授权码提 取的影响,可带来 3.5 dB左右的性能改善。  相似文献

提出了一种新型的基于幅度分档的赋形波束方向图综合算法。该算法共分为3步。首先,使用传统方向图综合方法如交替投影得到波束的无幅值限制的阵元激励;然后,使用概率密度理论对得到的阵元激励幅度进行处理得到量化的阵元激励幅度,最后,通过量化阵元激励幅度,使用半正定松弛(SDR)方法得到阵元激励的相位分布。上述步骤中,如何使用概率密度理论得到量化的阵元激励幅度是3步中较为重要的一步。将阵元激励幅度用概率密度变量进行替代,通过事先设定的阵元激励幅度档位个数,以及每个阵元激励幅度落在相应档位时取值的概率,可以得到含有概率密度变量的综合方向图表达式。最小化含有概率密度变量的综合方向图与理想方向图的功率之差即可得到量化的阵元激励幅度。使用概率密度理论得到量化阵元激励幅度的优势在于,可以根据任意形状的阵面和阵元栅格排布来划分幅度的档位区间,从而有着更广泛的适用性。在例证部分,通过多组算例的仿真,以及与一些对算法性能的分析,所提算法验证了其在综合效果上的优越性。  相似文献

 针对目前编码辅助载波同步算法中复杂度较高、延时大的问题,提出了引入辅助停止判决机制的编码辅助载波同步算法。在现有的编码辅助载波同步结构基础上,该算法能对环路信噪比(SNR)进行实时判定,在环路SNR满足限定条件后提前停止编码辅助载波同步迭代,而不影响译码性能。采用新的相位估计方式估计含相位噪声的载波相位,提升了该条件下的环路信噪比。仿真采用码率为1/2的低密度奇偶校验(LDPC)码作为编码方式,结果表明:在误码率为10-5时,该算法减少了约50%的编码辅助载波同步迭代次数;在含相位噪声的信号条件下,与理想解调译码相比,性能损失不超过0.15 dB。  相似文献

 研究全球定位系统(GPS)多径信号估计的问题。通过分析自适应滤波器的原理,建立了数字中频信号处理的数学模型,提出一种用自适应滤波实现GPS多径幅度、码相位和载波相位估计的方法。该方法采用不同延迟的伪随机序列对信号进行解扩、解调和累加,得到了作为期望信号的系列自适应滤波相关值。对该方法与其他3种方法进行了理论上的分析比较,得出本方法具有信噪比高、自适应滤波性能好、带有码相位信息和不存在载波模糊度问题等优点。根据各种滤波器算法的特点和本应用的需求,给出了选用递归最小二乘算法实现的方法。通过计算机仿真,验证了提出的方法能够在14 dB的信噪比下,以1个采样间隔的时间延迟分辨率和0.005周的载波相位估计精度估计出GPS L1的多径信号。  相似文献

There are a number of different error sources, such as multipath and thermal noise, which corrupt satellite navigation waveforms from their theoretical structure. However, even under ideal conditions the broadcast signals have some degree of deformation as a result of the practical individual hardware implementation. For the most demanding users of satellite navigation, such as aircraft navigation and landing systems, it is important to characterize the nominal signal structure in order to detect minimal variations resulting from hardware-based errors. Thus far such precorrelation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signal quality monitoring has been performed through high gain antennas, which allow for raising the GNSS spectrum above the thermal noise floor and observing the structure of the signal directly at the front end output. This paper describes a new approach to achieve such observability based on signal processing techniques, such as dithering and averaging, which leverage the repetitive nature of the GNSS signal. The paper presents how these techniques can drastically improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) in postprocessing, allowing for the direct analysis of GNSS signals using traditional front end designs and conventional antennas. Results are predicted using the appropriate theory and validated using data collected from the Global Positioning System (GPS).  相似文献

Research in numerous areas is directed toward the resolution of multiple overlapping signals in a noisy environment. These areas include radar, sonar, speech, seismology, and electrophysiology. Sometimes matched filters are used; other times inverse filters are employed. This paper discusses one approach to the analysis of the resolution of inverse filters. Our method is to compromise the trade-off between signal resolution and the output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). A performance measure for the inverse or deconvolution filter is defined as a quantity proportional to the harmonic mean of the resolution and the SNR. An optimum output pulse duration is obtained using this criterion, where the pulse shape has been previously selected and the input signal waveform is known. In addition, upper and lower bounds for the output pulse duration are presented. Graphs are given which allow the designer to select the optimum inverse filter output pulse duration for a desired signal resolution and an estimated SNR.  相似文献

General expressions are obtained for output SNR for both amplitude- and intensity-modulated lasers, where bandlimited Gaussian noise has been chosen as a modulating signal, and in the presence of background light. Two types of modulating signals are considered: the baseband and bandpass modulating signals. Detailed calculations are made for output SNR when an ideal narrowband optical filter is used. The dependence of output SNR on several parameters, such as the center frequency of the modulating signal, the effective average quantum rate, and input SNR, are discussed. In addition, the difference in performance between amplitude and intensity modulation is discussed. The detection characteristics of the homodyne system are also considered.  相似文献

Carrier phase multipath is currently the limiting error source for high precision Global Positioning System (GPS) applications such as attitude determination and short baseline surveying. Multipath is the corruption of the direct GPS signal by one or more signals reflected from the local surroundings. Multipath reflections affect both the carrier phase measured by the receiver and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). A technique is described which uses the SNR information to correct multipath errors in differential phase observations. The potential of the technique to reduce multipath to almost the level of receiver noise was demonstrated in simulations. The effectiveness on real data was demonstrated with controlled static experiments. Small errors remained, predominantly from high frequency multipath. The low frequency multipath was virtually eliminated. The remaining high frequency receiver noise can be easily removed by smoothing or Kalman filtering  相似文献

采用基于模型的方法对转子系统的不平衡量进行估计,首先记录初始状态下的振动信号,然后根据实时测得的不平衡响应信号,得出差值振动信号,联立转子系统的动力学方程,得出不平衡等效载荷,根据等效载荷,得出不平衡的位置、相位及大小.采用模态扩展技术实现由有限几个点的振动响应获取所需点上的响应.由于噪声的影响,提出了基于高斯小波的降噪方法.仿真与实验结果表明,这一方法能够比较准确地估计出转子系统的不平衡量.   相似文献

The effects 1-bit quantization of the input samples has on the direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation accuracy are considered. The signal model assumes a single stochastic Gaussian point source that is embedded in white Gaussian noise (WGN). The inherent limitations governed by the extreme clipping of the input data are analyzed using the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) that is derived for a two-sensor array. In addition, several estimators for the I-bit estimation are discussed. Numerical and analytical analyses of the estimation error reveal weak dependency on signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) with singular behavior of the estimation error in certain DOA angles.  相似文献
