Modern studies now favor the fact that extraterrestrial organic molecules served as an important source of biological important substances on the primitive Earth. It is presumed that these space-made organic molecules could be transported safely to the Earth surface being associated with mineral grains. It is important to test whether nucleotides synthesized in Earth orbit could be protected by lunar surface regolite. The phosphorylation of adenosine, uridine and thymidine has been studied with respect of their further transformations and degradation in presence of mineral bed. After retrieval, HPLC analysis is used to identify all the mononucleotides of certain nucleosides. It has been shown, that exposure of the investigated nucleosides as dry films in space conditions in the presence of Lunar soil increases the yield of synthesized nucleotides in 1.1-3.0 times as compared with the exposure of the same samples in absence of Lunar soil. To identify and evaluate the principal source of energy in open space responsible for nucleotide synthesis reaction laboratory experiments were performed. It has been shown, that vacuum ultra violet (VUV 145 nm) radiation promotes nucleotide synthesis more effectively than ultra violet (UV 254 nm) while the presence of Lunar soil increases reaction yield in 1.5-2.0 times. Formation of 5'-mononucleotides seemed to be the most effective reaction both in flight and in laboratory experiments. Protective action of lunar soil on synthesized nucleotides against UV radiation has been shown in open Space conditions.  相似文献

Lunar soil simulant is a geochemical reproduction of lunar regolith, and is needed for lunar science and engineering researches. This paper describes a new lunar soil simulant, CAS-1, prepared by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to support lunar orbiter, soft-landing mission and sample return missions of China’s Lunar Exploration Program, which is scheduled for 2004–2020. Such simulants should match the samples returned from the Moon, all collected from the lunar regolith rather than outcrops. The average mineral and chemical composition of lunar soil sample returned from the Apollo 14 mission, which landed on the Fra Mauro Formation, is chosen as the model for the CAS-1 simulant. Source material for this simulant was a low-Ti basaltic scoria dated at 1600 years from the late Quaternary volcanic area in the Changbai Mountains of northeast China. The main minerals of this rock are pyroxene, olivine, and minor plagioclase, and about 20–40% modal glass. The scoria was analyzed by XRF and found to be chemically similar to Apollo 14 lunar sample 14163. It was crushed in an impact mill with a resulting median particle size 85.9 μm, similar to Apollo soils. Bulk density, shear resistance, complex permittivity, and reflectance spectra were also similar to Apollo 14 soil. We conclude that CAS-1 is an ideal lunar soil simulant for science and engineering research of future lunar exploration program.  相似文献

针对京津冀地区碳钢土壤腐蚀问题,应用误差反向传播(BP)神经网络,以主影响因素为输入参数,分别构建了针对京津冀地区碳钢土壤腐蚀速率模型。根据各主要土壤腐蚀影响因素数值,对碳钢土壤腐蚀速率实现了预测。并基于地理信息系统(GIS)绘制了中国年均碳钢土壤腐蚀速率地图。研究表明:京津冀地区单年均碳钢土壤腐蚀速率西北高东南低,多年均碳钢土壤腐蚀速率基本均匀分布;pH、含盐总量、土壤温度、全氮量和有机质对碳钢土壤腐蚀较为显著;1、3、5和8年均碳钢土壤腐蚀速率分布最大为6.159、2.322、2.614和3.467 g/(dm2·a)。   相似文献

Models are required to accurately predict mass and energy balances in a bioregenerative life support system. A modified energy cascade model was used to predict outputs of a multi-crop (tomatoes, potatoes, lettuce and strawberries) Lunar greenhouse prototype. The model performance was evaluated against measured data obtained from several system closure experiments. The model predictions corresponded well to those obtained from experimental measurements for the overall system closure test period (five months), especially for biomass produced (0.7% underestimated), water consumption (0.3% overestimated) and condensate production (0.5% overestimated). However, the model was less accurate when the results were compared with data obtained from a shorter experimental time period, with 31%, 48% and 51% error for biomass uptake, water consumption, and condensate production, respectively, which were obtained under more complex crop production patterns (e.g. tall tomato plants covering part of the lettuce production zones). These results, together with a model sensitivity analysis highlighted the necessity of periodic characterization of the environmental parameters (e.g. light levels, air leakage) in the Lunar greenhouse.  相似文献

Soil texture is an important soil parameter that is useful for meteorology, climatology, hydrology, ecology, etc. Therefore, it is important to classify soil based on soil texture (i.e., sand, silt and clay). A lot of studies with radar remote sensing have been carried out to estimate soil moisture and surface roughness, but less attention has been given to study the effect of individual soil texture on radar scattering, especially in specular direction. The main aim of this paper is to check the behavior of specular scattering with change in soil texture. This effect has also been analyzed in presence of soil moisture and surface roughness. Scattering coefficient has been retrieved for various soil texture fields with indigenously designed X-band bistatic scatterometer for a range of incidence angles (from 30° to 70° in steps of 10°) in both like polarizations, i.e., HH-polarization and VV-polarization. Observations were made at 10 GHz frequency. Four different fields were considered on the basis of soil texture variations; especially changes in sand percentage were made. Roughness (smooth soil to 1.4 cm rms surface height) and moisture (dry soil to 0.21 cm3 cm−3 volumetric soil moisture) conditions of these fields were varied for observations. Strong change in specular scattering coefficient is observed by changing the sand percentage in soil for HH-polarization, while in case of VV-polarization a lesser change is observed. Also a high change in specular scattering coefficient is noticed once moisture is added to the soil. It is difficult to observe the change in specular scattering coefficient with change in soil texture when surface is considered as rough. Therefore, it is important to minimize the roughness effect while observing the texture with specular scattering. For this purpose, polarization study was carried out to see how polarization can be helpful to minimize the roughness effect. The effect of soil texture on copolarization ratio is critically analyzed, and it is observed that for higher incidence angle (50°), the distinction in soil texture fields are clearly observable on the basis of copolarization ratio. This type of study will be helpful in near future to design the bistatic radar system for soil parameter monitoring, especially for cartwheel satellite system.  相似文献

设计搭建了深空探测车车轮牵引特性试验台,制备了轮土试验用模拟月壤,在土槽中进行了模拟月壤的整备,重塑了就位月壤的力学特性.对不同轮齿类型的刚性车轮进行了牵引特性试验,分析了轮下模拟月壤的剪切破坏和车轮行驶阻力的表现形式.结果表明:增大轮上载荷能够提高挂钩牵引力,车轮的牵引效率随着滑转率的增加呈现先增加后降低的趋势;随着轮齿高度的增加,挂钩牵引力会随之增大,车轮的最大牵引效率有所降低;随着轮齿数目的增加,挂钩牵引力会随之增大,车轮的牵引效率变化不大;车轮转速在数值较低的范围内变化时,对牵引性能的影响较小.  相似文献

根据固化土实际固化过程,提出一个新的固化土结构模型,即固化土结构形成主要由固化剂胶结土颗粒和填充孔隙两部分构成.根据这一结构模型,以粉砂土作为研究对象,用水泥作为固化剂,由理论计算得出的固化土中胶结土颗粒和填充孔隙所对应的固化剂用量与由试验得出的相应固化剂掺量相当吻合,且基于该固化土结构模型,可以对固化土抗压强度增长规律与固化剂掺量相互关系等试验现象给予较好的解释.另外,通过用膨胀剂代替上述固化剂中用于填充孔隙的水泥掺量,以及减少和增加固化剂中水泥掺量,验证了土颗粒胶结和孔隙填充对固化土结构形成及强度增长的作用,并指出孔隙填充对固化土抗压强度提高起重要作用.   相似文献

Compared with other technical solutions, sampling the planetary soil and returning it back to Earth may be the most direct method to seek the evidence of extraterrestrial life. To keep sample’s stratification for further analyzing, a novel sampling method called flexible tube coring has been adopted for China future lunar explorations. Given the uncertain physical properties of lunar regolith, proper drilling parameters should be adjusted immediately in piercing process. Otherwise, only a small amount of core could be sampled and overload drilling faults could occur correspondingly. Due to the fact that the removed soil is inevitably connected with the cored soil, soil removal characteristics may have a great influence on both drilling loads and coring results. To comprehend the soil removal characteristics, a non-contact measurement was proposed and verified to acquire the coring and removal results accurately. Herein, further more experiments in one homogenous lunar regolith simulant were conducted, revealing that there exists a sudden core failure during the sampling process and the final coring results are determined by the penetration per revolution index. Due to the core failure, both drilling loads and soil’s removal states are also affected thereby.  相似文献

针对目前刚性道面未考虑道面结构参数、起落架机型及滑跑速度与响应深度之间关系的现状,借助ANSYS软件建立45m×15m×10m的有限元模型,计算了8种面层厚度、6种面层模量、5种基层厚度、5种基层模量和5种土基模量下B737-800动荷载的响应深度,并类比另4种机型的计算结果,分析了起落架构型对结果的影响;同时形成了B737-800起飞过程中响应深度的动态变化曲线.研究结果表明,响应深度随面层厚度、面层模量、基层厚度与基层模量的增大呈线性减小趋势,随土基模量的增大而增大,两者关系服从二次函数,且土基模量对响应深度最为敏感;同时起落架构型对响应深度也有较大贡献;飞机起飞过程中,响应深度呈先小幅增加而后迅速减小的非线性变化.研究结果为机场道面结构参数的选取和场道维护提供了理论依据和参考.   相似文献

应用进化策略和微分修正法建立了一套多约束、多目标条件下的月球软着陆轨道设计方法. 根据中国发射场和火箭运载的实际情况, 给出了软着陆轨道需要满足的过程约束及终端条件, 提出了利用进化策略进行轨道初步设计,通过微分修正法对初步设计结果进行修正的软着陆轨道设计思路, 并采用STK进行了仿真和结果验算. 分析表明, 基于进化策略的初步设计能够为微分修正提供良好的初值, 保证了其收敛性. STK仿真结果验证了设计思路的有效性及结果的正确性. 本文提出的方法能够为月球软着陆轨道设计提供参考.   相似文献

Among other problems the Institute of Biophysics is working on the development of physiological and fundamental aspects of intensive light cultivation of higher plants. These technologies can be used in life support systems for stationary space station such as a Lunar base, a planetary base or a large orbital station. The source of energy may be the Sun or a nuclear reactor. In certain conditions, such sources of energy allow the use of a very broad range of irradiance of plants, in particular in the light energy range up to 2-3 times the solar energy (up to 100-1200 W/m2 PAR). Our Institute was the first to show that under such a high irradiance, some plants (radish, wheat, for example) can actively photosynthesize and exhibit high productivity on a sowing area basis. These results were later confirmed in the laboratory of Prof. Salisbury (USA).  相似文献

Potential Martian soil components relevant to exobiology include water, organic matter, evaporites, clays, and oxides. These materials are also resources for human expeditions to Mars. When found in particular combinations, some of these materials constitute diagnostic paleobiomarker suites, allowing insight to be gained into the probability of life originating on Mars. Critically important to exobiology is the method of data analysis and data interpretation. To that end we are investigating methods of analysis of potential biomarker and paleobiomarker compounds and resource materials in soils and rocks pertinent to Martian geology. Differential thermal analysis coupled with gas chromatography is shown to be a highly useful analytical technique for detecting this wide and complex variety of materials.  相似文献

在月球钻取采样器的设计中,软袋取心方式可获得细长的连续钻取样心,具有较高的取心率,并能够保证次表层月壤样品的层理信息.由于取心过程中月壤颗粒运动复杂,尚无系统的方法对软袋取心的取样量影响因素进行分析.剖析了软袋取心中月壤颗粒的流动情况,基于极限平衡理论构建了软袋取心力学模型.该模型以月壤和取心钻具之间以及各部分月壤之间的相互作用为力学边界条件,描述了月壤从取心钻具外进入取心软袋内的动力学过程.基于该模型提出了预测取心率数值计算方法,分析了钻进规程、月壤特性和钻具构型等因素对取心率的影响.利用HIT-LS1#模拟月壤和HIT-2型试验钻具开展了钻进取样试验,取心率的理论预测值与试验结果的平均误差小于5%.  相似文献

Lunar grains accumulate charges due to solar-based ionizing radiations, and the repelling action of like-charged particles causes the levitation of lunar dust. The lunar dust deposit on sensitive and costly surfaces of investigative equipment is a serious concern in lunar explorations. Inspired by electrostatic precipitators (ESPs), the Electrostatic Lunar Dust Collector (ELDC) was proposed for collecting already charged lunar dust particles to prevent the lunar dust threat. As the conditions for terrestrial counterparts are not valid in the lunar environment, equations developed for terrestrial devices yield incorrect predictions in lunar application. Hence, a mathematical model was developed for the ELDC operating in vacuum to determine its collection efficiency. The ratios of electrical energy over potential energy, kinetic energy over potential energy and the ratio of ELDC dimensions were identified to be the key dimensionless parameters. Sensitivity analyses of the relevant parameters showed that depending on ELDC orientation, smaller particles would be collected more easily at vertical orientation, whereas larger particles were easier to collect in a horizontal ELDC configuration. In the worst case scenario, the electrostatic field needed to be 10 times stronger in the vertical mode in order to adequately collect larger particles. The collection efficiency was very sensitive to surface potential of lunar dust and it reached the maximum when surface potential was between 30 and 120 V.  相似文献

针对提高大范围土壤湿度测量精度的问题,研究了土壤湿度的全球卫星导航系统干涉测量法(GNSS-IR),提出了一种基于支持向量机(SVM)的土壤湿度反演模型,利用遗传算法(GA)的自动寻优功能寻找SVM的最佳参数。结果表明,GA-SVM模型在测试集上得到的土壤湿度反演值与实测值的平均绝对百分比误差(MAPE)仅为0.69%,最大相对误差(MRE)为1.22%,线性回归方程决定系数达到了0.956 9。进一步与统计回归、粒子群优化的SVM模型(PSO-SVM)及反向传播(BP)神经网络方法进行对比,结果说明:在样本数目有限的情况下,GA-SVM方法更适用于土壤湿度的GNSS-IR技术反演,且反演精度较高,泛化性能良好。   相似文献

Subcritical and supercritical water oxidation of CELSS model wastes.   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Controlled-Ecological-Life-Support-System (CELSS) model wastes were wet-oxidized at temperatures from 250 to 500 degrees C, i.e., below and above the critical point of water (374 degrees C and 218 kg/cm2 or 21.4 MPa). A solution of ammonium hydroxide and acetic acid and a slurry of human urine, feces, and wipes were used as model wastes. Almost all of the organic matter in the model wastes was oxidized in the temperature range from 400 to 500 degrees C, i.e., above the critical conditions for water. In contrast, only a small portion of the organic matter was oxidized at subcritical conditions. Although the extent of nitrogen oxidation to nitrous oxide (N2O) and/or nitrogen gas (N2) increased with reaction temperature, most of the nitrogen was retained in solution as ammonia near 400 degrees C. This important finding suggests that most of the nitrogen in the waste feed can be retained in solution as ammonia during oxidation at low supercritical temperatures and be subsequently used as a nitrogen source for plants in a CELSS while at the same time organic matter is almost completely oxidized to carbon dioxide and water. It was also found in this study the Hastelloy C-276 alloy reactor corroded during waste oxidation. The rate of corrosion was lower above than below the critical temperature for water.  相似文献

Retrieval of lunar soil composition is commonly achieved through optical remote sensing in which spectral characteristics of returned lunar samples are related to their constituents. Partial least squares (PLS) and principal component regression (PCR) were applied to the dataset characterized by the Lunar Soil Characterization Consortium (LSCC) to estimate the content of FeO, Al2O3 and TiO2 in the soils. The goal of this study was to test whether the conversion of reflectance to single scattering albedo (SSA) via Hapke’s radiative transfer model is able to improve the performance of PLS and PCR. Results from PLS and PCR modeling of SSA spectra indicate that the conversion does not necessarily improve the performance of PLS and PCR, and this depends on the chemical considered, the way to select the number of optimal factors, and how the data were pretreated. The conversion failed to accommodate the large deviation of highland samples with low FeO, TiO2 and high Al2O3.  相似文献

空基激光选区熔化(SLM)技术与原位资源利用(ISRU)概念结合,有望解决地外大规模基地建设的工程难题。SLM铺粉过程对成形件性能和质量有重要影响。基于非球形粒子叠加球模型方法,建立模拟月壤颗粒几何模型;基于线性弹簧-阻尼接触作用模型、Hamaker理论及牛顿运动定律,建立颗粒动力学模型;采用三维离散单元方法(DEM)及软球模型,进行不同工况下模拟月壤在铺粉过程中的流变特性研究。结果显示:所提模型和方法能开展指定工况和环境参数的模拟月壤颗粒系统流动性和堆积行为数值仿真研究;月面低重力环境导致粉床表面粗糙度变大、堆积密度和平均配位数变小;通过降低铺粉速度和优化刮刀型面,可以有效改善月基铺粉的粉床质量,获得更密实和均匀的粉床结构。   相似文献
