In this work, a macroscopic non-linear constitutive model accounting for damage, inelastic strain and unilateral behavior is proposed for the 2D plain-woven C/Si C composite. A set of scalar damage variables and a new thermodynamic potential expression are introduced in the framework of continuum damage mechanics. In the deduced constitutive equations, the material's progressive damage deactivation behavior during the compression loading is described by a continuous function, and different deactivation rates under uniaxial and biaxial compression loadings are also considered. In damage evolution laws, the coupling effect among the damage modes and impediment effect of compression stress on the development of shear damage in different plane stress states are taken into account. Besides, the general plasticity theory is applied to describing the evolution of inelastic strain in tension and/or shear stress state. The Tsai–Wu failure criterion is adopted for strength analysis. Additionally, the material model is implemented as a user-defined material subroutine(UMAT) and linked to the ABAQUS finite element software, and its performance is demonstrated through several numerical examples.  相似文献

The samples having {0001} parallel to extruding direction(ED) present a typical true stress–true strain curve with concave-down shape under tension at low strain rate. Ultra-rapid tensile tests were conducted at room temperature on a textured AZ31 B magnesium alloy. The dynamic tensile behavior was investigated. The results show that at ultra-high strain rates of 1.93 · 102 s 1and 1.70 · 103 s 1, the alloy behaves with a linear stress–strain response in most strain range and exhibits a brittle fracture. In this case, {10-12} 10-11 extension twinning is basic deformation mode. The brittleness is due to the macroscopic viscosity at ultra-high strain rate, for which the external critical shear stress rapidly gets high to result in a cleavage fracture before large amounts of dislocations are activated. Because {10-12} tension twinning, {10-11} compressive twinning,basal a slip, prismatic a slip and pyramidal c + a slip have different critical shear stresses(CRSS), their contributions to the degree of deformation are very differential. In addition,Schmid factor plays an important role in the activity of various deformation modes and it is the key factor for the samples with different strain rates exhibit various mechanical behavior under dynamic tensile loading.  相似文献

A new stress-based multi-scale failure criterion is proposed based on a series of off-axis tension tests, and their corresponding fiber failure modes and matrix failure modes are determined at the microscopic level. It is a physical mechanism based, three-dimensional damage analysis criterion which takes into consideration the constituent properties on the macroscopic failure behavior of the composite laminates. A complete set of stress transformation, damage determination and evolution methods are established to realize the application of the multi-scale method in failure analysis. Open-hole tension(OHT) specimens of three material systems(CCF300/5228, CCF300/5428 and T700/5428) are tested according to ASTM standard D5766, and good agreements are found between the experimental results and the numerical predictions. It is found that fiber strength is a key factor influencing the ultimate strength of the laminates, while matrix failure alleviates the stress concentration around the hole. Different matchings of fiber and matrix result in different failure modes as well as ultimate strengths.  相似文献

The mechanical properties of nickel-based single crystal thin-walled plate with close-packed film cooling holes were studied based on the equivalent solid material concept. The effective plastic parameters inversion method based on crystallographic theory were proposed. A simplification method for close-packed film cooling hole plates with square and triangular penetration patterns was presented. A large number of finite element analysis results covering different ligament efficiencies and penetration patterns were provided to verify the feasibility of the plastic equivalent principle and simplification method. The results show that the stress–strain curve and resolved shear stresses of simplification models are in consistence with the plate models with close-packed film cooling holes. The equivalent errors of yield strength are all within the error band and the values of equivalent errors are all less than 10%. In addition, the equivalent errors of the positions where maximum resolved shear stress occurs are all less than 15°, indicating the accuracy of plastic equivalent model and simplification method.  相似文献

Drop test and crash simulation of a civil airplane fuselage section   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
Crashworthiness of a civil airplane fuselage section was studied in this paper. Firstly, the failure criterion of a rivet was studied by test, showing that the ultimate tension and shear failure loads were obviously affected by the loading speed. The relations between the loading speed and the average ultimate shear, tension loads were expressed by two logarithmic functions. Then, a vertical drop test of a civil airplane fuselage section was conducted with an actual impact velocity of6.85 m/s, meanwhile the deformation of cabin frame and the accelerations at typical locations were measured. The finite element model of a main fuselage structure was developed and validated by modal test, and the error between the calculated frequencies and the test ones of the first four modes were less than 5%. Numerical simulation of the drop test was performed by using the LS-DYNA code and the simulation results show a good agreement with that of drop test. Deforming mode of the analysis was the same as the drop test; the maximum average rigid acceleration in test was 8.81 g while the calculated one was 9.17 g, with an error of 4.1%; average maximum test deformation at four points on the front cabin floor was 420 mm, while the calculated one was 406 mm, with an error of 3.2%; the peak value of the calculated acceleration at a typical location was 14.72 g, which is lower than the test result by 5.46%; the calculated rebound velocity result was greater than the test result 17.8% and energy absorption duration was longer than the test result by 5.73%.  相似文献

To investigate the thermo-mechanical response of channel wall nozzle under cyclic working loads,the fnite volume fluid-thermal coupling calculation method and the fnite element thermal-structural coupling analysis technique are applied.In combination with the material lowcycle fatigue behavior,the modifed continuous damage model on the basics of local strain approach is adopted to analyze the fatigue damage distribution and accumulation with increasing nozzle work cycles.Simulation results have shown that the variation of the non-uniform temperature distribution of channel wall nozzle during cyclic work plays a signifcant role in the thermal-structural response by altering the material properties;the thermal-mechanical loads interaction results in serious deformation mainly in the front region of slotted liner.In particular,the maximal cyclic strains appear in the intersecting regions of liner gas side wall and symmetric planes of channel and rib,where the fatigue failure takes place initially;with the increase in nozzle work cycles,the residual plastic strain accumulates linearly,and the strain amplitude and increment in each work cycle are separately equal,but the fatigue damage grows up nonlinearly.As a result,a simplifed nonlinear damage accumulation approach has been suggested to estimate the fatigue service life of channel wall nozzle.The predicted node life is obviously conservative to the Miner's life.In addition,several workable methods have also been proposed to improve the channel wall nozzle durability.  相似文献

An analytical methodology was developed to investigate the effect of fiber/matrix interface debonding on matrix multicracking evolution of fiber-reinforced CMCs(ceramic-matrix composites). The Budiansky-Hutchinson-Evans shear-lag model was adopted to analyse the micro-stress field of the damaged composites. The critical matrix strain energy criterion, which presupposes the existence of an ultimate or critical matrix strain energy with matrix, was obtained to simulate the matrix multicracking evolution of CMCs. With the increase of the applied stress, the matrix multicracking and fiber/matrix interface debonding occurred to dissipate the additional energy entered into the composites. The fiber/matrix interface debonded length under matrix multicracking evolution was obtained by treating the interface debonding as a particular crack propagation problem. The conditions for no-debonding and debonding during the evolution of matrix multicracking were discussed in terms of two interfacial properties, i.e., the interface shear stress and interface debonded toughness. When the fiber/matrix interface was bonded, the matrix multicracking evolution was much more intense compared with the interface debonding; when the fiber/matrix interface was debonded, the matrix crack density increased with the increasing of interface shear stress and interface debonded energy. The theoretical results were compared with experimental data of unidirectional SiC/CAS(calcium alumina silicate), SiC/CAS-Ⅱ and SiC/borosilicate composites.   相似文献

Fatigue tests of the smooth composite laminates and the notched composite laminates under compressive cyclic loading have been carried out. The damage mechanism is discussed and analyzed. Damage evolution is monitored using stiffness decay. From these tests, it is found that the initial delamination occurs at the free boundary of smooth specimens, or the notch boundary of notched specimens, subjected to the compression-compression cyclic load. A point of view in relation to two-phases of compression fatigue delamination of composites is proposed, namely, compression-compression delamination consists of the delamination formation phase and the delamination propagation, and there is a “damage transition point” to separate this two-phases. Furthermore, an empirical modulus degradation formula and its parameters fitting method are presented. According to the test data handling results, it is shown that this formula is univocal and can fit the test data conveniently. In addition, two kinds of new anti-buckling devices are designed for these tests. At last, the E-N curves, the D-N curves and the S-N curve of the smooth carbon fiber reinforced composite laminates of T300/648C are determined to predict the fatigue life of the notched composite laminate. And the E-N curve of the notched specimens at the given load ratio R=10 and minimum load Pmin=-0.45 kN is also measured to verify the estimated result of fatigue life.  相似文献

以分离式Hopkinson拉杆装置为基础,设计了特殊的铆接试验件,对MS20615铆钉的铆接结构开展了动态加载下不同加载角度、不同加载速率的力学性能试验。结合其准静态试验结果,获得了铆接结构在纯剪切、30°拉剪耦合、45°拉剪耦合、60°拉剪耦合和纯拉伸试验下的力学性能参数。试验结果表明,加载角度、加载速率对铆接结构的失效载荷与失效模式有显著的影响。在试验结果的基础上,使用有限元软件LS-Dyna建立了铆接结构的简化模型,对比了试验和数值模拟得到的铆接结构载荷-位移曲线,并对简化数值模型进行了网格相关性分析,验证了简化的铆钉单元模型的可行性。  相似文献

In order to investigate the yielding behavior of the newly developed Ni 3 Al-based intermetallic alloy IC10, yield stresses have been measured in tension and compression with different orientations. The specimens were cut from a sheet with different angles inclined from the solidification direction. The inclined angles were taken to be 0 , 22.5 , 45 , 67.5 and 90 . All experiments were conducted at room temperature except for orientation 0 , whose deformation temperatures ranged from 298 to 1273 K. Experimental results show that the yield strength of alloy IC10 has the anomalous behavior which has been observed for other Ll 2 -long-range ordered intermetallic alloys, but it is less pronounced. The abnormalities show the following characteristics: (i) the yield strength increases as the temperature is raised below the peak temperature, (ii) yield strength anisotropy, (iii) tension/compression asymmetry. Compared to Ni 3 Al single crystals, the polycrystalline exhibits some different yielding behaviors which may be due to the high volume fraction of c phase.  相似文献

以薄壁管拉扭疲劳试件为研究对象,在分析多轴损伤临界面上的应力与应变变化特性的基础上,根据多轴疲劳临界损伤平面原理,利用多轴临界面上的剪切应变幅与相邻两个最大剪切应变值γmax之间的法向应变幅ε*n作为形成多轴疲劳损伤参量的主要参数,提出基于拉伸和剪切两种形式的多轴疲劳损伤参量。所提出的多轴疲劳损伤参量不含有任何材料常数,并可同时适用与多轴比例与非比例加载情况,且可退化成单轴的形式。  相似文献

利用轴向拉伸/压缩和面内剪切载荷构建了一个相互作用函数,并将其通过幂级数展开成二次多项式,利用单轴试验测试的复合材料板屈曲载荷,基于数学原理和合理的假设,推导确定了多项式的各项待定系数,构建了轴向拉伸/压缩和剪切复合载荷下的复合材料板屈曲相关方程,从数学上理性地解决了传统屈曲相关方程不适用于复合材料板(尤其是非均衡铺层板)的问题。利用提出的相关方程预测了4种不同的非均衡铺层复合材料板在轴向拉伸/压缩和剪切载荷作用下的屈曲相关曲线,并与有限元特征值法的模拟结果进行了对比,两者具有很好的一致性,而对于传统相关方程,其铺层的非均衡性越大则预测误差越大。最后通过均衡铺层的复合材料加筋壁板的压剪复合试验进一步证明了提出的相关方程的有效性。  相似文献

This work aims to investigate local stress distribution, damage evolution and failure of notched composite laminates under in-plane loads. An analytic method containing uniformed boundary equations using a complex variable approach is developed to present layer-by-layer stresses around the notch. The uniformed boundary equations established in series together with conformal mapping functions are capable of dealing with irregular boundary issues around the notch and at infinity. Stress results are employed to evaluate the damage initiation and propagation of notched composites by progressive damage analysis(PDA). A user-defined subroutine is developed in the finite element(FE) model based on coupling theories for mixed failure criteria and damage mechanics to efficiently investigate damage evolution as well as failure modes. Carbon/epoxy laminates with a stacking sequence of [45°/0°/ 60°/90°]sare used to investigate surface strains, in-plane load capacity and microstructure of failure zones to provide analytic and FE methods with strong validation. Good agreement is observed between the analytic method, the FE model and experiments in terms of the stress(strain) distributions, damage evaluation and ultimate strength, and the layerby-layer stress components vary according to a combination effect of fiber orientation and loading type, causing diverse failure modes in individuals.  相似文献

通过DD6单晶薄壁管试样机械应变控制热机械疲劳(TMF)试验,获取温度交变、相位角以及载荷控制方式对单晶应力应变响应与疲劳寿命的影响规律。结果表明:温度交变会引起明显的应力不对称性并造成额外损伤,导致TMF寿命明显低于最高循环温度的等温疲劳(IF)寿命,并且反相(OP)循环寿命普遍要低于同等载荷的同相(IP)循环,这种寿命变化趋势与应力控制存在明显差异。采用Walker本构模型进行单晶材料在不同TMF循环下的滑移系黏塑性分析,构建单晶TMF损伤与滑移系细观应力应变参量的关联。在此基础上,选取最大Schmid应力、最大滑移剪应变率、滑移剪应变范围、循环Schmid应力比作为损伤参量,建立基于细观参量的TMF寿命模型,其对不同相位、不同载荷控制方式的TMF寿命预测精度均在2倍分散带内。   相似文献

高温疲劳损伤是引起单晶涡轮叶片破坏的主要因素之一。利用不同试验条件下DD6标准试件的低周疲劳和蠕变-疲劳试验结果,结合基于滑移系的黏塑性应力-应变分析,分别研究了晶体取向、应变范围、平均应变以及保载时间等对单晶高温疲劳损伤的影响机制。进而采用滑移剪应变最大的滑移系作为临界滑移系,选取临界滑移系上的最大Schmid应力、最大滑移剪应变率、循环Schmid应力比以及滑移剪应变范围等细观参量作为损伤参量,建立了一种新的基于临界平面的循环损伤累积(CDA)模型。结果表明,该模型对于DD6高温疲劳寿命预测精度基本在3倍分散带内。  相似文献
