The Japanese Communications Satellite (CS), called Sakura, is a "Medium Capacity Communications Satellite for Experimental Purposes" and is the first experimental communications satellite in which 30/20 GHz bands were adopted and were developed for practical domestic use. Large scale field trials have been carried out for more than three years in order to evaluate 30/20 GHz (Ka-band) and 6/4 GHz (C-band) domestic satellite communications system technologies under actual operational conditions by using the CS Sakura launched in December 1977. Through the various experiments on Kand C-band large fixed and small transportable Earth station systems, satellite control experiments, and Ka-band propagation measurements, it has been verified that the medium capacity satellite communications system meets the design objectives.  相似文献

The geostationary satellite orbit (GSO) is a limited natural resource and its efficient utilization is very important. The geostationary tether satellite (GTS) system has a number of satellites aligned along the local vertical on either side of the nominal geostationary position. The system is synchronized with the Earth's rotation and all the various altitudes are geostationary, Furthermore, optical-fiber geostationary tether satellite (F-GTS) system has been introduced to improve the GTS system, with regard to increment of communication capacity, simplification of interference paths and intersatellite link (ISL) capability. The F-GTS system design is discussed with the purpose of achieving a realistic satellite network. Three frequency bands, i.e., the 14/11, 30/20, and 50/40 GHz bands, are examined for selection of the optimum frequency band. The F-GTS system example for covering the service areas in Japan is discussed with regard to satellite antenna diameter, communication capacities, etc. To apply the F-GTS system to the whole GSO, the diagonal azimuth orbit arrangement method is proposed for low latitude service areas. Moreover, the F-GTS communication capacity and total communication capacity, when the F-GTS systems are applied to the whole GSO, are also examined.  相似文献

近年来,卫星导航技术发展迅速.卫星导航系统以精密时间测量技术为基础,实现了伪距测量,进而实现定位.同时,卫星导航系统还提供了高精度授时功能.综述了卫星导航系统的授时和时间频率传递技术、基于通信卫星的授时技术以及双向卫星时间频率传递(TWSTFT)技术等.随着我国北斗卫星导航系统(BDS)的建成和提供服务,BDS授时应用研究正在快速发展.基于BDS/GNSS多系统的精密单点定位(PPP)时间传递技术已成为重点研究方向,未来将会应用于国际时间比对.同时,随着卫星通信技术尤其是低轨通信卫星技术的快速发展,低轨通信卫星授时会成为一个有潜力的研究方向.  相似文献

Smart antennas are becoming one of the promising technologies to meet the rapidly increasing demands for more capacity of satellite communication systems. A main component in a smart antenna system is beamforming. Because of the limitations of analog beamforming, digital beamforming will be employed in future satellite communication systems. We evaluate the performance of various digital beamforming strategies proposed in the literature for satellite communications: 1) single fixed beam/single user, 2) single fixed beam/multiple users, 3) single adaptive beam/single user, and 4) single Chebyshev dynamic beam/multiple users. Multiple criteria including coverage, system capacity, signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR), and computation complexity are used to evaluate these satellite communication beamforming strategies. In particular, a Ka-band satellite communication system is used to address the various issues of these beamforming strategies. For the adaptive beamforming approach, subarray structure is used to obtain the weights of a large 2D antenna array, and a globally convergent recurrent neural network (RNN) is proposed to realize the adaptive beamforming algorithm in parallel. The new subarray-based neural beamforming algorithm can reduce the computation complexity greatly, and is more effective than the conventional least mean square (LMS) beamforming approach. It is shown that the single adaptive beam/single user approach has the highest system capacity.  相似文献

近年来,大众对泛在位置服务的需求不断增长,卫星导航在室内等场景下覆盖能力不足,已无法满足人们的需求。由于通信信号覆盖范围广、用户数量大、信号频带宽,将通信信号用于定位可成为卫星导航的有效补充。在此背景下,随着通信和定位技术的快速发展,通信和导航的耦合程度不断加深,产生了通信导航一体化技术(CPIT),并成为了国内外的研究热点。通信系统中毫米波、多入多出(MIMO)、波束成形等技术为CPIT的发展带来了新的契机。首先介绍了CPIT的演进过程;然后就CPIT中的关键技术进行了总结并分析了其研究现状;最后对CPIT的发展进行了展望。  相似文献

In a nonstationary and/or nonhomogeneous interference environment, an adaptive system for target detection may suffer a severe performance degradation due to the lack of a sufficient amount of data from which the system can learn (estimate) the statistics of the environment. The detection performance of an adaptive system, which employs a frequency diversity (multiband) signaling waveform and a multiband sample matrix inversion algorithm (SMI), is analyzed. By comparison with the corresponding single-band system under the chosen system constraint, it is shown that the multiband system can significantly outperform the single band when the amount of data available from a single frequency band is severely limited by the environment  相似文献

Dual-band frequency diversity seems to be an effective fade countermeasure to rain-induced attenuation in satellite communications above 20 GHz. This method, particularly suited for satellites operating in two frequency bands, typically Ka band and C or Ku band, achieves very low levels of outage probability especially where the rain fades are severe. A theoretical analysis of a frequency diversity system is performed to evaluate the amount of reserve capacity needed to counteract fading in a satellite network. The problems that arise in implementing adaptive fade countermeasures because of the dynamic characteristics of fading are discussed, and the results of the simulations performed using the attenuation time series at 11.6 GHz, measured with the Sirio satellite throughout four years, are presented  相似文献

在我国北斗三号卫星导航系统全面完成组网建设的背景下,世界卫星导航步入新时代。各卫星导航大国均瞄准更高服务精度、更加多样功能、更加可靠服务,正在着手开展新一代系统建设和技术迭代。随着各国对于大型低轨通信星座的积极开发与广泛部署,应用低轨卫星技术实现导航增强与PNT系统备份能力,因其易与GNSS协同,具有提高全球自主导航精度、拓展全球卫星导航应用市场的巨大潜力而成为研究热点。面向低轨导航增强技术,首先总结了低轨卫星的最新态势,梳理了卫星导航增强服务模式,并详细分析了低轨通信星座导航精度增强及导航信号增强两方面的技术动向。在此基础上,重点针对导航增强频率的兼容互操作、通信/导航信号一体化设计、高动态导航增强信号捕获与跟踪等方面,对低轨卫星导航增强体系未来的发展机遇以及面临的技术挑战进行了展望。此外,还基于美国铱星系统实收采集信号开展了定位服务性能试验分析,结果表明600个历元内收敛定位精度优于100m,相关分析成果可为我国低轨导航增强建设提供参考和借鉴。  相似文献

针对全球卫星导航星座网络建设初期或论证阶段所涉及的网络体系结构、协议体系及相关组网等技术问题,开展了基于导航星座星间链路构建空间信息网络的技术研究,分别提出了由子网、接入网、骨干网等节点及其相互之间星间、星地无线链路构成的分层网络系统结构,设计了兼容遥控、遥测、测量与网络交互支持等业务的基于IP over CCSDS(基于空间数据系统咨询委员会标准的空间链路承载互联网协议业务)的协议体系,给出了全系统基本通信业务运行模式等。与传统高轨卫星通信系统相比,该星座网络具有高覆盖、低时延、随遇接入等优点,可实现星座导航性能与中低轨及地面用户通信性能的全方位提升,相关结果对我国全球卫星导航星座网络技术研究具有一定的参考意义。  相似文献

System aspects of mobile communication and position determination by satellite are described. Topics of discussion are the choice of frequency, type of modulation/multiple access and system design, and considering the effects of active and passive intermodulation and multipath interference. Communication performance and position determination analyses are conducted with respect to small-scale domestic mobile communication systems, where the satellite mobile transponder constitutes only a fraction of the otherwise fixed services C-band or Ku-band payload, and where the orbit position of the spare satellite(s) is dictated by considerations other than purely radio positioning. 宽带信号广泛应用于雷达、导航和卫星通讯等领域。宽带信号的传统接收处理方法主要是采用匹配滤波或子带分割技术。本文用去斜脉冲压缩处理方法处理宽带信号,给出了具体的实现结构和改进措施,分析了如何选择系统的信号采样频率,同时还给出了脉压波形的仿真结果及性能分析。实验表明:对中心频率为9.5GHz、带宽1.3GHz、脉冲宽度30μs的宽带线性调频信号,采用该方法处理只需90MHz采样数据率,大大降低了数据采集的难度。  相似文献

The LFI (Low Frequency Instruments) receivers in the coming Planck satellite are of continuous comparison type and use low noise amplifiers based on high electron mobility transistors manufactured from indium phosphide substrate (INP-HEMT-MMIC-LNAs). This article describes the 1/f-noise tests and the associated test system for the 70 GHz demonstrator receiver, which can either use single or dual channel phase switcher methods. The 1/f knee frequency is shown to depend on the calculation method of the r-value. A minimum 1/f knee frequency around 10 mHz has been achieved with full two channel foxtrot and individually adopted r-values for each phase states while a straightforward single phase technology cannot go below 40 mHz  相似文献

受卫星导航的冲击,甚高频全向信标(VOR)在未来航行系统中将失去它的重要地位,最终可能关闭。为充分利用VOR的频段和设备资源,本文提出了四种VOR发射机改造方案:第一是间断发射的慢速时空调制系统;第二是连续发射的二进制四相时空调制系统;第三是码分有参考信号时空调制系统;第四是时分有参考信号时空调制系统。给出了四种系统信号调制、编码、接收机设计等解决方案。改造系统的主要优点是将数字通信和无线定向综合为一体。  相似文献

由于卫星通信的遥测参数和数据格式的多样性,为满足不同卫星测试的要求,需要提供不同的信号源。考虑到成本因素,采用遥测参数和数据格式均可编程卫星信号模拟源。给出了内嵌高斯白噪声模块的可编程卫星信号模拟源的系统组成及工作原理,对其中关键模块——已调副载波生成模块和高斯白噪声生成模块进行了分析讨论,前者采用包括直接数字频率合成方法在内的全数字方法,后者采用延时斐波那契算法和公式法的算法组合。试验结果表明:本方案实现的可编程卫星信号模拟源能够满足多数卫星测试的需要。  相似文献

The world's first aeronautical satellite communication experiments, conducted at L-band frequencies using a commercial aircraft, are described. An airborne antenna with electronically steerable beam and communication equipment was installed in a B-747F freighter flying over transoceanic flight routes. The satellite used in these experiments is the Engineering Test Satellite-Five (ETS-V). During the test period, various experiments, such as antenna pattern measurements, transmission performances, and voice quality evaluation were conducted. As the airborne antenna is the key component for the aeronautical satellite communication system, emphasis has been placed on antenna characteristics. Data relay satellites are being developed to provide real-time data links between research satellites in low earth orbits and central data acquisition and processing facilities. Frequency assignments for data relay satellite links will be made in bands allocated internationally to the space research service. One of the bands which will be used lies between 14.5 and 15.35 GHz, where the space research service has had a frequency allocation as a secondary service since 1971. During the General World Administrative Radio Conference of the International Telecommunication Union, held in Geneva in 1979, a primary frequency allocation was made in the band 14.5-14.8 GHz to the fixed-satellite service, specifically for use by earth-to-space links of the broadcasting satellite service. The feasibility of shared band operation is evaluated between data relay satellite uplinks and broadcasting-satellite feeder links in the band 14.5-14.8 GHz. Relationships for predicting interference power levels are formulated, as functions of satellite separation and of earth station separation. Tradeoffs between satellite separation angle and earth station separation are explored, and conclusions are drawn regarding the feasibility of band sharing. Co-channel operation is demonstrated to be technically feasible for typical systems, provided appropriate separations are maintained.  相似文献

由于具有高效性和灵活性,多频时分多址接入(MF-TDMA)技术被广泛应用于现代宽带通信卫星系统的上行链路设计中。时隙分配算法的有效性是高效利用MF-TDMA系统资源的保证。在MF-TDMA系统中,时隙资源分配问题可以分为两步:载波信道选择和信道内的时隙分配。对于第1步,RCP-fit等算法提供了良好的用户载波信道预约策略。本文主要针对时隙分配过程的第2步展开讨论,针对载波内的时隙管理问题提出了一种基于倒序时隙编号时隙资源树的时隙组织方式,从时隙编号的角度解决了时隙时间均分问题。并采用伙伴递归调整算法作为载波内时隙优化定位方法,有效减低时隙碎片对系统资源利用率的负面影响。最后通过仿真,验证了该时隙管理算法的高效性。  相似文献
