 随着军事装备的不断发展,无源探测器(电子支援系统、雷达告警接收机和电子情报接收机)对飞机的探测能力大大提高。为了避免机载雷达设备辐射的射频(RF)信号被截获,要求飞机具有良好的射频隐身性能。综合考虑机载雷达探测距离和无源截获接收机截获距离之间的关系以及天线空域扫描方式发生捷变对飞机射频隐身性能的影响,指出了用施里海尔(Schleher)截获因子评价飞机射频隐身性能的不足,并提出用信号截获率来表征飞机射频隐身特性的方法。最后,对影响信号截获率的因素进行分析与计算,在此基础上给出飞机实现射频隐身的途径与方法。该评价方法综合了飞机在时域、频域和空域上的射频隐身特性,对飞机的射频隐身设计具有参考价值。  相似文献

In order to intercept the future targets that are characterized by high maneuverability, multiple interceptors may be launched and aimed at single target. The scenario of two missiles P and Q intercepting a single target is modeled as a two-pursuit single-evader non-zero-sum linear quadratic differential game. The intercept space is decomposed into three subspaces which are mutually disjoint and their union covers the entire intercept space. The effect of adding the second interceptor arises in the intercept space of both P and Q (PQ-intercept space). A guidance law is derived from the Nash equilibrium strategy set (NESS) of the game. Simulation studies are focused on the PQ-intercept space. It is indicated that 1) increasing the target’s maneuverability will enlarge PQ-intercept space; 2) the handover conditions will be released if the initial zero-effort-miss (ZEM) of both interceptors has opposite sign; 3) overvaluation of the target’s maneuverability by choosing a small weight coefficient will generate robust performance with respect to the target maneuvering command switch time and decrease the fuel requirement; and 4) cooperation between interceptors increases the interception probability.  相似文献

This research is concerned with multidimensional signal processing and image formation with FOliage PENetrating (FOPEN) airborne radar data which were collected by a Navy P-3 ultra wideband (UWB) radar in 1995. The digital signal processors that were developed for the P-3 data commonly used a radar beamwidth angle that was limited to 35 deg. Provided that the P-3 radar beamwidth angle (after slow-time FIR filtering and 6:1 decimation) was 35 deg, the P-3 signal aperture radar (SAR) system would approximately yield alias-free data in the slow-time Doppler domain. We provide an analysis here of the slow-time Doppler properties of the P-3 SAR system. This study indicates that the P-3 database possesses a 50 deg beamwidth angle within the entire [215, 730] MHz band of the P-3 radar. We show that the 50-degree beamwidth limit is imposed by the radar (radial) range swath gate; a larger beamwidth measurements would be possible with a larger range swath gate. The 50-degree beamwidth of the P-3 system results in slow-time Doppler aliasing within the frequency band of [444, 730] MHz. We outline a slow-time processing of the P-3 data to minimize the Doppler aliasing. The images which are formed via this method are shown to be superior in quality to the images which are formed via the conventional P-3 processor. In the presentation, we also introduce a method for converting the P-3 deramped (range-compressed) data into its alias-free baseband echoed data; the utility of this conversion for suppressing radio frequency interference signals is shown  相似文献

One of the best known weakness of radar sensors in defense and security applications is the necessity to radiate a signal, which can be detected by the target, so being possible (easy in fact) that the target is alerted about the presence of a radar before the radar is alerted about the presence of a target. In this context, Low Probability of Interception (LPI) Radars try to use signals that are difficult to intercept and/or identify. Spread spectrum signals are strong candidates for this application, and systems using special frequency or polyphase modulation schemes are being exploited. Frequency hopping, however, has not received much attention. The typical LPI radar at this moment of the technology is a CW-LFM radar. The simplicity of the technology is its best point. Polyphase codes, on the other hand have the inherent advantage of high instantaneous bandwidth regardless of observation time. But the complexity of the hardware is also higher. FH signals have traditionally been considered of lower performance but higher complexity, due to the difficulties to compensate the individual dopplers for the individual range cells in the receiver. One important point is that an FH radar must be clearly distinguished from an agile frequency radar. In the latter, a pulsed signal is transmitted using different frequencies from pulse to pulse. In an FH radar the frequency changes must be during the pulse. In fact, in an LPI FH radar, a CW frequency hopped signal is used. A radar system concept is proposed in which it shows how these problems can be overcome in a tracking application. Also, the signal format is analyzed under the scope of future decade digital interceptors, showing that, in fact, this kind of signal exhibits improvement in some performances and requires a hardware that is only slightly more complex than that needed for CW-LFM systems  相似文献

The following paper derives a general gradient process for extremization ion by imposing an " exponential decay" condition on the controlled variable. The general process is applied to two adaptive linear filter problems; a sonar application by Widrow [3] and a radar problem of Brennan & Reed [4]. The results are discussed in sections 11 and Ill, respectively. A central feature of the Fletcher-Powell process [1] is a matrix modification algorithm due to Davidon [2]. Previous correspondence [1, 2] considered the problem of defending moving target by means of a counterweapon launched from the target to intercept the attacker, deriving relations between attacker-target ranges at counterweapon launch and at intercept of the attacker, and the speed capabilities of the counterweapon. The present correspondence derives the location of the intercept point in target-centered coordinates (the counterweapon aimpoint), analyzes the complicated behavior of range and bearing settings with attack geometry, and formulates the relations for determining whether any given attack can be countered under restrictions on speed or angle at which the counterweapon may be fired. Exhaustive analysis is not attempted. A simplified treatment portrays kinematic conditions which must exist if the target is to counter the attack before the target is impacted by the attacking vehicle, through the use of examples.  相似文献

Airborne radar relies on Built-in-Test (BIT) for fault detection, fault isolation and system calibration. The capability of BIT is often limited by space, weight, size and cost considerations. Furthermore, the radar does not have a test target that will allow BIT to perform in flight, closed-loop functional test of the complete radar system. This paper describes a fiber-optic based radar test target unit that provides a delayed replica of the transmitted radar signal. The unit will intercept a small amount of radar-transmitted energy, delay it in the fiber, then feed it back into the radar producing a calibrated “echo” at a predetermined radar range. The unit can be installed as part of the airborne radar. The details on the design and testing of a proof-of-concept unit are also given  相似文献

随着现代战场中电子对抗的日益激烈,雷达的生存环境受到了严重的威胁。射频(RF)隐身技术是一种提高雷达及其运载平台战场生存能力的重要途径。为提高雷达射频隐身性能,针对具有MIMO探测模式的新体制雷达提出了隐身性能优化的目标跟踪算法。该算法基于射频隐身性能优化模型,通过自适应控制系统的子阵划分个数、平均发射功率、波束驻留时间以及采样周期,在满足系统跟踪性能要求的前提下优化系统射频隐身性能,其中的射频隐身性能综合考虑了截获因子及采样周期。仿真结果表明,与传统相控阵雷达相比,本文所提出的目标跟踪算法使MIMO雷达具有更好的射频隐身性能。  相似文献

A technique for performing altimetric functions (and possibly very-low-resolution imaging radar) without the transmission of a signal is suggested. The system could benefit an invasive aerospace platform that needs to remain totally electronically silent. The concept uses naturally occurring galactic noise as the illumination signal. A rapid and low-cost processor is also suggested. The results developed are also useful for the particular case of low probability of intercept (LPI) radar in which the transmitter emits a broadband Gaussian-like signal and the receivers cannot locally generate the transmitted reference. A technique for receiving radar pulse trains is presented [which can be of a variable format in the sense that they vary from pulse to pulse]. The heart of the receiver is a sufrace ascoustic wave (SAW) convolver. In addition to prsenting experimental results for variable format waveform reception, it is shown that the convolver can easily generate ambiguity functions for virtually any waveform, and specific results for signals such as Barker codes and linear FM (chirp) waveforms are presented.  相似文献

Besides some general requirements, modern military radars should possess excellent LPI (low probability of intercept) properties. And civilian radars should satisfy the rigorous requirement of EMC (electro-magnetic compatibility) performance. The special features of random signal radar are analyzed here based on the different requirements for military and civilian use. Time-frequency method for detecting an accelerating target in sea clutter   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
The authors design a time-frequency (TF) method for use in high-frequency surface-wave radar (HFSWR) for detecting a small accelerating target in sea clutter. The clutter is modelled by pseudo targets moving with Bragg velocity towards and away from the radar. The design is based on the Wigner distribution (WD) defined by Chan (type-III WD, in our terminology) rather than the WD defined by Claasen and Mecklenbrauker (1980) (2times type-I WD, in our terminology). Like the type-I WD, the type-III WD also concentrates a chirp signal onto a straight line in the TF plane. The type-III WD has the following advantages: 1) Its range of unambiguously measurable frequencies (RUMF) is [-pi,pi] rad/s, whereas for the type-I WD the RUMF is [-pi/2,pi/2] rad/s. 2) It allows a target separated from the clutter by pi rad/s to be detected, whereas the type-I WD coalesces such a target with the clutter and thereby mask it. An ambiguity function (AF) was defined corresponding to the type-III WD and use it to derive a smoothed type-III WD that mitigates the clutter. The smoothed type-III WD method is applied to real radar data and shown to be superior to the conventional Fourier transform method. The advantages of the type-III WD over the type-I WD are also demonstrated. In [1], we proposed using "data adaptive" spectrum estimation techniques (e.g., maximum likelihood and maximum entropy) for radar problems such as separating low angle returns from ground reflections. W. White suggests [2] that these techniques will be of little value due to the correlation between the various received signals. In this rebuttal, we present additional conceptual arguments, simulation results and field data which support the utility of the techniques set forth in [1].  相似文献

使用模糊方法研究了三维实际追逃问题的最小能量导引律问题。首先,通过对一些状态变量的定义域进行在线模糊分区,一方面,将非线性模型变为模糊T-S线性模型;另一方面,又能方便地处理目标的任意机动而引起的目标运动方向的变化。其次,利用RH(Receding Hori-zon)控制方法和伴随技术,在目标作对抗性机动条件下,获得了一个有效拦截的导引律。数值仿真结果表明,由这种导引律导引的导弹能够精确拦截任意机动的目标。  相似文献

The two-target technique proposed by the author in an earlier paper [1] for reducing radar multipath angle tracking errors has been simulated on a digital computer assuming an actual closed-loop system. When tracking with noise, the technique provides angle error performance which compares quite favorably with the expected performance given in [1] Furthermore, the large bias errors usually encountered in normal monopulse systems at low elevation angles are removed. Results of typical tracks are given, both for the method of [1], and for a modified version of the method which applies primarily to shipboard radar systems. The objective of this primarily tutorial item is to describe a general model for the observable data and the appropriate data processing involved in sensing rigid target fields with coherent radars. Any number of radars may be involved, and the scene and each radar may be in any kind of motion-with no restrictions on motion through resolution cells during the coherent processing time of the radars. The motions are assumed to be known. To some extent motion parameters can be estimated from the radar data, e.g., by adaptive parameter adjustments in the data processing; however, this subject is beyond the scope of this discussion. In large measure, the analysis in this item highlights the central conceptual result obtained by J.L. Walker as described in [1] -a major work in radar theory.  相似文献

Radar glint arises from the spatial phase perturbations of the radar signal echoed from a complex target. The glint phenomenon is closely related to the target radar cross section (RCS). This relationship plays a significant part in modern missile seeker signal processing. We present a statistical glint/RCS target model for realtime simulation of target signatures. Particular emphasis is placed upon the modeling and simulation of the appropriate glint/RCS statistical dependency. The fundamental approximation of locating uniformly distributed scatterers around the instantaneous radar centroid employed in the Delano-Gubonin [1, 2, 3] model is removed. A key result which follows from this representation is that the mean glint estimator is unbiased. This enables the estimation of model parameters from the first-order glint and RCS statistics which can easily be computed from measured data. A method of estimating model parameters is presented, and the results are applied to data from a typical combat aircraft target. It is shown that the Delano-Gubonin results are a special case of the results presented here. The 14.6 percent probability of glint falling beyond the target extent as derived by Delano [1] is not true in general. It is further shown that glint and RCS are uncorrelated but are statistically dependent. A Monte-Carlo simulation is performed to verify the assumptions made and to demonstrate the feasibility of the working models.  相似文献

针对基于射频(RF)隐身需求的机载雷达目标搜索问题进行了研究。通过分析实际作战中射频辐射面临的截获威胁,提出了一种基于联合截获威胁的射频隐身性能表征方法,并给出了具体的值估算方法;对机载雷达搜索任务中辐射参数的优化问题进行了建模,并采用优化算法对目标函数进行求解。通过分析典型情景下解集的分布特点,给出了从最优解集中选取最终解的方法。结果表明,提出的射频隐身性能表征方法能更好地反映截获实现过程的多域需求,提出的雷达搜索方法能够在保证探测性能的同时,提高射频隐身性能和搜索速度,能够为相控阵雷达搜索任务中参数的优化控制提供方法和依据。  相似文献
