It is understood that the forward-backward probability hypothesis density (PHD) smoothing algorithms proposed recently can significantly improve state estimation of targets. However, our analyses in this paper show that they cannot give a good cardinality (i.e., the number of targets) estimate. This is because backward smoothing ignores the effect of temporary track drop- ping caused by forward filtering and/or anomalous smoothing resulted from deaths of targets. To cope with such a problem, a novel PHD smoothing algorithm, called the variable-lag PHD smoother, in which a detection process used to identify whether the filtered cardinality varies within the smooth lag is added before backward smoothing, is developed here. The analytical results show that the proposed smoother can almost eliminate the influences of temporary track dropping and anomalous smoothing, while both the cardinality and the state estimations can significantly be improved. Simulation results on two multi-target tracking scenarios verify the effectiveness of the proposed smoother.  相似文献

Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for the existence of a solution to the continuous-time and discrete-time reduced-order H/sub /spl infin// and L/sub 2/-L/sub /spl infin// filtering problems. These conditions are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and a coupling nonconvex matrix rank constraint. Convex LMI problems are obtained for the full-order and the zeroth-order filtering. An explicit parametrization of all reduced-order filters that correspond to a feasible solution is derived in terms of a contractive matrix, and iterative algorithms are proposed to solve the reduced-order filtering problems using alternating projections.  相似文献

The problem of minimum variance discrete-time state estimation of a continuous-time double integrator via noisy continuous-time measurements is considered. The error covariance matrices of this estimation are calculated and analyzed. The relations between these covariance matrices and the error covariance matrix of the optimal continuous-time filter are obtained, and a way for determining the required sampling period is proposed. The simultaneous imaging and tracking of a moving target is one of the most difficult problems in inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) signal processing. The problem is addressed here using a two-antenna imaging radar. The target range shift is sensed with an exponentially averaged envelope correlation algorithm while the angle change is measured with a differential phase shift algorithm. The three state Kalman filters are used in range and azimuth dimensions to provide both a filtered estimate and a one-sample-ahead prediction for the purpose of target tracking. The filtered range shift provides an accurate information for range bin alignment, and the target angle change provides the angular positions of the synthetic array elements. Therefore, the ISAR imaging simply becomes processing of a circular-arc aperture. The algorithms are verified both by computer simulations and also with experimental data processing  相似文献

The data association problem of multiple extended target tracking is very challenging because each target may generate multiple measurements. Recently, the belief propagation based multiple target tracking algorithms with high efficiency have been a research focus. Different from the belief propagation based Extended Target tracking based on Belief Propagation (ET-BP) algorithm proposed in our previous work, a new graphical model formulation of data association for multiple extended target tracking is proposed in this paper. The proposed formulation can be solved by the Loopy Belief Propagation (LBP) algorithm. Furthermore, the simplified measurement set in the ET-BP algorithm is modified to improve tracking accuracy. Finally, experiment results show that the proposed algorithm has better performance than the ET-BP and joint probabilistic data association based on the simplified measurement set algorithms in terms of accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, the convergence of the proposed algorithm is verified in the simulations.  相似文献

Automatic target recognition (ATR) in hyperspectral imagery is a challenging problem due to recent advances of remote sensing instruments which have significantly improved sensor's spectral resolution. As a result, small and subtle targets can be uncovered and extracted from image scenes, which may not be identified by prior knowledge. In particular, when target size is smaller than pixel resolution, target recognition must be carried out at subpixel level. Under such circumstance, traditional spatial-based image processing techniques are generally not applicable and may not perform well if they are applied. The work presented here investigates this issue and develops spectral-based algorithms for automatic spectral target recognition (ASTR) in hyperspectral imagery with no required a priori knowledge, specifically, in reconnaissance and surveillance applications. The proposed ASTR consists of two stage processes, automatic target generation process (ATGP) followed by target classification process (TCP). The ATGP generates a set of targets from image data in an unsupervised manner which will subsequently be classified by the TCP. Depending upon how an initial target is selected in ATGP, two versions of the ASTR can be implemented, referred to as desired target detection and classification algorithm (DTDCA) and automatic target detection and classification algorithm (ATDCA). The former can be used to search for a specific target in unknown scenes while the latter can be used to detect anomalies in blind environments. In order to evaluate their performance, a comparative and quantitative study using real hyperspectral images is conducted for analysis.  相似文献

Spaceborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a well-established and powerful imaging technology that can provide high-resolution images of the Earth’s surface on a global scale. For future SAR systems, one of the key capabilities is to acquire images with both high-resolution and wide-swath. In parallel to the evolution of SAR sensors, more precise range models, and effective imaging algorithms are required. Due to the significant azimuth-variance of the echo signal in High-Resolution Wide-Swath (HRWS) SAR, two challenges have been faced in conventional imaging algorithms. The first challenge is constructing a precise range model of the whole scene and the second one is to develop an effective imaging algorithm since existing ones fail to process high-resolution and wide azimuth swath SAR data effectively. In this paper, an Advanced High-order Nonlinear Chirp Scaling (A-HNLCS) algorithm for HRWS SAR is proposed. First, a novel Second-Order Equivalent Squint Range Model (SOESRM) is developed to describe the range history of the whole scene, by introducing a quadratic curve to fit the deviation of the azimuth FM rate. Second, a corresponding algorithm is derived, where the azimuth-variance of the echo signal is solved by azimuth equalizing processing and accurate focusing is achieved through a high-order nonlinear chirp scaling algorithm. As a result, the whole scene can be accurately focused through one single imaging processing. Simulations are provided to validate the proposed range model and imaging algorithm.  相似文献

在合成孔径雷达(SAR Synthetic Aperture Radar)的成像算法中,Chrip Scaling成像算法具有计算效率高的优点,因此得到了较为广泛的应用。详细研究了子孔径扩展Chirp Scaling算法在高分辩率聚束模式SAR中的应用,包括子孔径划分和方位向处理问题,针对A.Moreira等1996年所提算法在处理聚束SAR数据时所产生的问题,给出了经过改进的适合于大斜视角处理的整个计算过程的完整表达式。在给出点目标仿真的同时,利用E-SAR实际数据对述方法进行了验证,结果对具体的兼容条带和聚束两种工作模式的SAR处理机设计具有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

空间谱估计是阵列信号处理的一个重要研究方向。空间谱估计理论与技术已日趋成熟,近几十年的经典谱估计技术包括:常规波束形成(CBF)、Capon谱估计、多重信号分类(MUSIC)、旋转不变子空间算法(ESPRIT)、最大似然(ML)、子空间拟合(SF),及这些算法的扩展和变形。上述算法在各个分散的文章中均有具体深入的理论分析和研究,亦有类似的2种或3种算法的性能比较,但是针对这些所有算法的性能比较,就笔者所知尚无公开报道,而使工程实现时对算法的选择没有依据。本文对这些经典算法做了简介,列出各个算法的优缺点,并对性能进行仿真比较,能直观地得到各个算法的性能对比,给工程实现算法选择提供理论依据。  相似文献

A novel sensor selection strategy is introduced, which can be implemented on-line in time-varying discrete-time system. We consider a case in which several measurement subsystem are available, each of which may be used to drive a state estimation algorithm. However, due to practical implementation constraints (such as the ability of the on-board computer to process the acquired data), only one of these subsystems can actually by utilized at a measurement update. An algorithm is needed, by which the optimal measurement subsystem to be used is selected at each sensor selection epoch. The approach described is based on using the square root V-Lambda information filter as the underlying state estimation algorithm. This algorithm continuously provides its user with the spectral factors of the estimation error covariance matrix, which are used in this work as the basis for an on-line decision procedure by which the optimal measurement strategy is derived. At each sensor selection epoch, a measurement subsystem is selected, which contributes the largest amount of information along the principal state space direction associated with the largest current estimation error. A numerical example is presented, which demonstrates the performance of the new algorithm. The state estimation problem is solved for a third-order time-varying system equipped with three measurement subsystem, only one of which can be used at a measurement update. It is shown that the optimal measurement strategy algorithm enhances the estimator by substantially reducing the maximal estimation error  相似文献

针对由多模传播引起的多普勒扩展杂波(SDC)严重影响天波超视距雷达(OTHR)对慢速船舰目标的检测这一问题,在基于多输入多输出体制的新一代天波超视距(MIMO-OTH)雷达系统下,利用空域信息抑制多模SDC。传统处理方法需要目标角度先验信息,而在实际中,该信息往往很难获得。为此,提出一种新的基于稀疏重建的多模杂波抑制算法。该算法将二维的稀疏角度搜索转变为一维的角度搜索,使运算量大大降低,且估计出的收发角(DOA-DOD)自动配对,同时可获得各个传播路径下信号的时间多普勒信息,达到了理想的MIMO-OTH雷达多模杂波抑制效果。仿真结果证明了所提算法的有效性。  相似文献

超高分辨率条件下,机载合成孔径雷达(SAR)发射信号带宽大,合成孔径时间比较长,对成像处理算法的精度和效率要求较高。现有近似频率域处理和时间域滤波反投影(FBP)算法聚焦SAR数据时均存在诸多问题。基于微局部分析方法,提出了一种新颖的频率域滤波反投影(FD-FBP)成像处理方案。首先,利用Keystone变换简化了数据距离多普勒(RD)域徙动表达式。然后,在RD域进行反投影操作,对参考位置处反投影数据进行移位、相位补偿和FFT等操作即可以得到图像,从而在保证算法精确性的前提下有效降低了运算效率,实现了频率域方法的高效率和时间域方法的精确性特点的结合。最后,点目标仿真和实测数据处理以及与FBP等算法的对比验证了该方法的有效性。  相似文献

Exact synthetic aperture radar (SAR) inversion for a linear aperture may be obtained using fast transform techniques. Alternatively, back-projection integration in time domain can also be used. This technique has the benefit of handling a general aperture geometry. In the past, however, back-projection has seldom been used due to heavy computational burden. We show that the back-projection integral can be recursively partitioned and an effective algorithm constructed based on aperture factorization. By representing images in local polar coordinates it is shown that the number of operations is drastically reduced and can be made to approach that of fast transform algorithms. The algorithm is applied to data from the airborne ultra-wideband CARABAS SAR and shown to give a reduction in processing time of two to three orders of magnitude.  相似文献

New analytical solutions of steady-state Kalman gains are presented for a discrete-time tracking filter with correlation in both the measurement noise and the target maneuver. The measurement noise model is a first-order discrete Markov process characterized by a correlation coefficient ρ. The target motion is examined for an exponentially correlated acceleration maneuver type in which the vehicle oscillation such as wind-induced-bending is also considered. The present solution method is based on factorizing the observed spectral density matrix Ψ(z) in frequency domain. The algorithm proposed here gives the Kalman gain matrix directly. For a case when the steady-state error covariance matrix is desired, such gains can be incorporated with the algebraic Riccati equation  相似文献

对非均匀环境下利用单个数据集的机载雷达空时自适应处理(SDS-STAP)算法进行了研究。针对现有单个数据集类空时自适应算法存在的问题,提出了一种基于对待测数据集进行空时二维滑窗处理的二维幅度相位估计(2D-APES)算法。该算法利用回波的统计信息,不仅放宽了算法处理器对于雷达系统阵元数与脉冲数选取的约束,而且能够有效抑制杂波及待测单元内的干扰,同时降低了处理器的计算复杂度。最后,仿真数据及实测数据实验验证了所提算法的正确性与有效性。  相似文献
