针对机载多输入多输出(MIMO)雷达空时自适应处理(STAP)中期望目标导向矢量的失配问题,提出一种基于三迭代(TRIA)与二阶锥规划(SOCP)的稳健降维MIMO-STAP方法。首先将MIMO-STAP权矢量分解为发射、接收、多普勒3个低维权矢量的Kronecker积,然后分别限定实际发射、接收、多普勒导向矢量与假定导向矢量之间的误差范数边界,通过优化最差性能,利用SOCP对各个低维权矢量进行三迭代求解,最后进行权矢量合成。该方法在保证机载MIMO雷达获取稳健STAP性能的同时,通过三迭代降维处理,能够有效降低训练样本数需求与运算复杂度,因此更具有实际应用价值。仿真结果验证了算法的有效性。  相似文献

State-of-the-art model-driven Direction-Of-Arrival (DOA) estimation methods for multipath signals face great challenges in practical application because of the dependence on the precise multipath model. In this paper, we introduce a framework, based on deep learning, for synchronizing perturbation auto-elimination with effective DOA estimation in multipath environment. Firstly, a signal selection mechanism is introduced to roughly locate specific signals to spatial subregion via frequency domain filters and compressive sensing-based method. Then, we set the mean of the correlation matrix’s row vectors as the input feature to construct the spatial spectrum by the corresponding single network within the parallel deep capsule networks. The proposed method enhances the generalization capability to untrained scenarios and the adaptability to non-ideal conditions, e.g., lower SNRs, smaller snapshots, unknown reflection coefficients and perturbational steering vectors, which make up for the defects of the previous model-driven methods. Simulations are carried out to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method.  相似文献

The effect of random errors in the steering vector of an Applebaum adaptive array is examined. Each component of the steering vector is assumed to have a random error component uncorrelated between elements. The array output signal-to-interferenceplus-noise ratio (SINR) is computed as a function of the error variance. It is shown that the array output SINR becomes more sensitive to steering vector errors as more elements are added to the array and as the received desired signal power becomes larger. The variance of the steering vector error that may be tolerated depends on the required desired signal dynamic range. The larger the dynamic range that must be accommodated, the smaller the error variance must be.  相似文献

Robust adaptive matched filtering (AMF) whereby outlier data vectors are censored from the covariance matrix estimate is considered in a maximum likelihood estimation (MLE) setting. It is known that outlier data vectors whose steering vector is highly correlated with the desired steering vector, can significantly degrade the performance of AMF algorithms such as sample matrix inversion (SMI) or fast maximum likelihood (FML). Four new algorithms that censor outliers are presented which are derived via approximation to the MLE solution. Two algorithms each are related to using the SMI or the FML to estimate the unknown underlying covariance matrix. Results are presented using computer simulations which demonstrate the relative effectiveness of the four algorithms versus each other and also versus the SMI and FML algorithms in the presence of outliers and no outliers. It is shown that one of the censoring algorithms, called the reiterative censored fast maximum likelihood (CFML) technique is significantly superior to the other three censoring methods in stressful outlier scenarios.  相似文献

In an earlier paper, Maisel [6] considered two-channel detection systems using a sidelobe blanking logic when a nonfluctuating target was present. This paper is an extension of the earlier work to include fluctuating targets. The Swerling I, II, III, and IV models are considered when single-pulse detection is of interest. An adaptive threshold procedure is also briefly discussed whereby the probability of false alarm at any given resolution cell is maintained constant, even though the input clutter level may vary from cell to cell or from beam position to beam position. Useful data are presented for detection probabilities in the range 0.5 to 0.9, for false alarm probabilities in the range 104 to 10-8, and for a false detection probability of 0.1 for a sidelobe target yielding an apparent signal to total noise power density ratio of 13.0 dB in the main beam receiver.  相似文献

A partially adaptive array is one in which elements of a phased array are controlled or adaptively weighted in groups or in which certain elements, called auxiliary elements, are made controllable. Mathematically, this type of array is formed by transforming all of the elements of an array by a nonsquare matrix such that the resulting output vector has a length less than the number of array elements. It is shown that there is an equivalent matrix transform that can effectively be utilized in analyzing the partially adaptive array's performance when a small number of external jammers are present. Processor implementation and convergence rate considerations lead to the desirability of reducing the dimensionality of the cancellation processor while maintaining good sidelobe interference protection. A meaningful measure of canceller performance is to compute the optimal output signal-to-noise ratio. This expression is a function of the jammer, direction-of-arrival vectors (DOAVs), jammer powers, the array steering vector, and internal noise. It is shown that if this expression is computed for the fully adaptive array then it is easily computed for the partially adaptive array by transforming the jammer DOAVs and the steering vector by the orthogonal projection matrix defined by the rows of the subarray transformation matrix and substituting these vectors back into the original expression for the fully adaptive array  相似文献

An analysis of weight jitter in adaptive array control loops is presented. lt is shown that steady state weight jitter and statistical dependence between input signal and weight processes are related factors. A Markov characterization for the first-order adaptive array loop is presented and Fokker-Planck techniques are used to obtain the steady state probability density of the weight process for the case of a one-loop array. From this density the mean and the variance of the weight process are obtained and the dependence of these statistics upon loop and input signal parameters is explored.  相似文献

A successful controller design is crucial for establishing and maintaining an optical link between free-space communication stations engaged in a laser communication session. This task is quite difficult due to nonlinear behavior, cross-coupled dynamics, and time-varying characteristics of all known beam steering technologies. A novel adaptive control technique utilizing Lyapunov function to ensure global asymptotic stability of the system, thus resulting in a highly robust system performance, is developed. The technique applied to a piezo-electric mirror setup results in a highly efficient controller design that does not require prior knowledge of system dynamics, while providing independent access to azimuth and elevation positions of the laser beam. The basic algorithm is presented and the results of its application are demonstrated.  相似文献

The analysis of an adaptive detection algorithm described previously by the author (1985, 1986) is extended. Previously, the performance was evaluated for the case of a signal corresponding exactly to the steering vector used in the derivation of the algorithm. Here the performance for signals arriving from other directions is evaluated. 对于一类存在输人未建模动态的非线性系统,提出了一种基于RBF神经网络的自适应逆补偿器设计方法。首先用两个神经网络设计了补偿器,一个用来估计输入未建模动态,另一个用来作为未建模动态的自适应逆补偿器。该设计放宽了对未建模动态的一些苛刻的要求,如相对度为零,满足小增益条件等。文中仅要求D(u)逆稳和连续光滑。然后应用反演设计技术设计了控制器,并应用Lyapunov稳定性理论推导出神经网络权重向量的调节律,同时证明了闭环系统的渐近稳定性。最后给出的仿真研究证明了该设计方法的有效性。  相似文献

A knowledge-aided spectral-domain approach to estimating the interference covariance matrix used in space-time adaptive processing (STAP) is proposed. Prior knowledge of the range-Doppler clutter scene is used to identify geographic regions with homogeneous scattering statistics. Then, minimum-variance spectral estimation is used to arrive at a spectral-domain clutter estimate. Finally, space-time steering vectors are used to transform the spectral-domain estimate into a data-domain estimate of the clutter covariance matrix. The proposed technique is compared with ideal performance and to the fast maximum likelihood technique using simulated results. An investigation of the performance degradation that can occur due to various inaccurate knowledge assumptions is also presented  相似文献

The performance of a steered beam adaptive array as a function of the beam pointing error is examined. The purpose is to determine how close the steered beam has to be to the actual desired signal arrival angle for good performance. It is shown that the beam pointing error that can be tolerated is essentially a question of dynamic range. The greater the desired signal dynamic range that must be accommodated by the array, the more accurate the beam pointing angle must be.  相似文献

A radar in its surveillance mode requires the programming of the radar beam in fixed angular increments throughout the surveillance volume. Though radar coverage of the volume is complete, returns from possible targets differing only in angular position generally have unequal signal strengths. This is due to both beam shape and multiple beam coverage. The resulting nonuniformity in signal strength results in a loss factor termed beam shape loss (BSL). This correspondence contains the results of a valid computational procedure for determining this loss factor for the case of an electronically steerable array in a search mode. Results consist of curves showing BSL for a wide range of system parameters and for various target types. In addition, it is shown how optimum search beam locations can be determined from the BSL computations.  相似文献

The authors propose two regenerative hybrid adaptive arrays in which a self-generated reference signal is obtained through a detection-modulation procedure from the array output. The proposed arrays do not depend on spectrum spreading and are therefore applicable when this feature is not available. It is shown that at steady state the performance of these regenerative hybrid arrays is approximately the same as that of a hybrid array with a perfect reference signal. As to transient behavior, these arrays are shown to converge if the available imperfect steering vector can result in a few dB output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio with the self-generated reference disabled  相似文献

The parameters of the Weibull distribution and the threshold level for an adaptive CFAR detector are determined by calculating the mean value and the mean-squared value of the input signal voltage before it passes through a logarithmic amplifier. Sensor response, location uncertainty, and use of sample statistics can severely degrade the performance of optimum beamformers. We propose blind estimation of the source steering vector in the presence of multiple, directional, correlated or coherent Gaussian interferers via higher order statistics. In this way, we employ the statistical characteristics of the desired signal to make the necessary discrimination, without any a-priori knowledge of array manifold and direction-of-arrival (DOA) information about the desired signal. We then improve our method to utilize the data in a more efficient manner. In any application, only sample statistics are available, so we propose a robust beamforming approach that employs the steering vector estimate obtained by cumulant-based signal processing. We further propose a method that employs both covariance and cumulant information to combat finite sample effects. We analyze the effects of multipath propagation on the reception of the desired signal. We show that even in the presence of coherence, cumulant-based beamformer still behaves as the optimum beamformer that maximizes the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR). Finally, we propose an adaptive version of our algorithm simulations demonstrate the excellent performance of our approach in a wide variety of situations  相似文献

The performance of a modified Applebaum adaptive array is studied. The new array is obtained by removing the desired signal component from the output signal fed back to the correlator of an Applebaum type adaptive array. Various signal scenarios, including single desired signals or multiple simultaneous desired signals are examined. The new array is less sensitive to beam pointing errors and does not cause power inversion of desired signals. In the case of multiple simultaneous desired signals, the new array does not degrade the SNRs of strong desired signals.  相似文献

We demonstrate the feasibility of a digital beam forming (DBF) and beam space CMA (Constant Modulus Algorithm) adaptive array antenna by implementing a digital signal processor (DSP) in ASICs using field programmable gate arrays (FPGA), this DBF can synthesize 16 multi-beams and eliminate interference signals by CMA adaptive processing. The whole function was implemented in 10 DSPs about 127,000 equivalent gates. Simple experimental results have confirmed the basic function of the DBF and BSCMA adaptive array antenna  相似文献

空时自适应处理(STAP)是机载预警雷达抑制杂波和干扰的一项关键技术,而多普勒三通道联合自适应处理(3DT)是适合工程实现的降维(RD)STAP方法。STAP目标检测后还需进一步估计目标的角度参数,因此将自适应单脉冲(AM)技术引入3DT,提出了一种高精度联合估计目标速度与方位空间角的空时自适应单脉冲算法。理论分析与仿真实验结果表明,当目标多普勒频率偏离检测多普勒单元中心频率时,该算法能同时减少目标多普勒跨越损失和空时导引矢量失配损失,进而提高输出信杂噪比(SCNR),改善目标测角精度。  相似文献
