A fast, efficient and reliable code for wing design has been developed at INTA coupling a residual-correction method by Bauer, McFadden and Garabedian to an inviscid solver for wing analysis in transonic flow. Smoothing procedures, including Bézier cubic splines, are used to avoid irregularities of the wing surface, as well as the twist distribution. A non-conservative full potential finite differences code is used as the flow solver. The redesign of two wings in transonic flow are presented with promising results. The computing time required to achieve convergence up to a good level of accuracy is less than 1 hour in a Workstation of 300 Mflops. The code is actually a powerful tool for preliminary wing design. Future work will be addressed to the addition of viscous effects and to studies on the optimization of target pressure distributions.  相似文献

首先对B码信号进行了详细地码型介绍和理论分析,然后提出了一种利用嵌入式技术来提取B码信号中同步脉冲的方法。该设计的核心部分是一片CPLD芯片,其内部实现了B码同步脉冲上升延的提取,脉冲宽度调制等功能。对设计过程中出现的关键问题,如脉冲宽度检测和毛刺信号的消除,本文提出了解决方法,并给出了仿真结果。与传统的方法相比,该设计方案具有精度高,体积小,成本低,工作稳定等优点。  相似文献

The data acquisition phase of a program intended to provide data for the validation of computational, analytical and experimental techniques for the assessment of electromagnetic effects in commercial transports, for the checkout of instrumentation for following test programs, and for the support of protection engineering of airborne systems has been completed. The initial phase involved on-the-ground electromagnetic measurements. Measurements were made of the fields coupled into the aircraft interior and signals induced in select structures and equipment under controlled illumination by RF fields. A characterization of the ground was also performed to permit ground effects to be included in forthcoming computer modeling exercises. A series of fly-by experiments were conducted in early 1995 in which the NASA B-757 was flown in the vicinity of a Voice of America station (~25 MHz), a fixed transmitter driving a log periodic array (172 MHz), and an ASRF radar at Wallops Island (430 MHz). In this paper, the overall test program is defined with particular attention to the on-the-ground portion. The test rationale, test layout, and samples of the data are described. Multipath is a major source of error in high precision Global Positioning System (GPS) static and kinematic differential positioning. Multipath accounts for most of the total error budget in carrier phase measurements in a spacecraft attitude determination system. It is a major concern in reference stations, such as in Local Area Augmentation Systems (LAAS), whereby corrections generated by a reference station, which are based on multipath corrupted measurements, can significantly influence the position accuracy of differential users. Code range, carrier phase, and signal-to-noise (SNR) measurements are all affected by multipath, and the effect is spatially correlated within a small area. In order to estimate and remove code and carrier phase multipath, a system comprising a cluster of five GPS receivers and antennas is used at a reference station location. The spatial correlation of the receiver data, and the known geometry among the antennas, are exploited to estimate multipath for each satellite in each antenna in the system. Generic receiver code and carrier tracking loop discriminator functions are analyzed, and relationships between receiver data, such as code range, carrier phase, and SNR measurements, are formulated and related to various multipath parameters. A Kalman filter is described which uses a combination of the available information from the antennas (receivers) in the multiantenna cluster to estimate various multipath parameters. From the multipath parameters, the code range and carrier phase multipath is estimated and compensated. The technique is first tested on simulated data in a controlled multipath environment. A three-state Kalman tracker is described for tracking a moving target, such as an aircraft, making use of the position and rate measurements obtained by a track-white-scan radar sensor which employs pulsed Doppler processing, such as the moving target detector providing unambiguous Doppler data. The steady-state filter parameters have been analytically obtained under the assumption of white noise maneuver capability. The numerical computations of these parameters are in excellent agreement with those obtained from the recursive Kalman filter matrix equations. The solution for the case when only the range measurements are available is obtained as a special case of this model. Modern military aircraft jet engines are designed with variable-geometry nozzles to provide optimal thrust in different operating conditions, depending on the flight envelope. How- ever, acoustic measurements for such nozzles are scarce, due to the cost involved in making full- scale measurements and the lack of details about the exact geometries of these nozzles. Thus the present effort at Pennsylvania State University (PSU) in partnership with GE Aviation and the NASA Glenn Research Center is aiming to study and characterize the acoustic field produced by supersonic jets issuing from converging-diverging military style nozzles, and to identify and test promising noise reduction techniques. An equally important objective is to develop methodology for using data obtained from small- and moderate-scale experiments to reliably predict the full-scale engine noise. The experimental results presented show reasonable agreement between small-scale and medium-scale jets, as well as between heated jets and heat-simulated ones.  相似文献

Increased sensitivity and dynamic range of the instrumental techniques used in conjunction with experiments on ballistic ranges have brought to the fore many problems arising from contamination in the ranges themselves. This is seldom discussed when experimental results are presented but is frequently the controlling limitation on the accuracy of the measurements. The authors discuss contamination due to dirt and debris resultant from gun operation, gaseous impurities, and projectile-borne impurities as they have occurred at the Re-entry Simulating Range of Lincoln Laboratory. The effects of these contaminants on measurements are discussed and illustrated, and measures for controlling them are outlined. Finally, a particular range operation is described from the standpoint of impurity control.  相似文献

The accuracy of clear acquisition (C/A) code for civilian users of the Global Positioning System, in comparison with precise (P) code, is discussed. Different design techniques for GPS receivers are presented. The 1-ms range ambiguity of C/A code is discussed, and a solution is given.
