The performance of a bandlimited binary phase-shift-keyed (BPSK) communication system is examined when the received BPSK signal is corrupted by both thermal noise and a directional Gaussian noise interfering signal. The system uses an LMS adaptive array to suppress this interference. The effects of signal power levels, arrival angles, bandwidths, and the array bandwidth are examined. The performance of a system that uses tapped delay lines for the array weights is also examined. It is shown that the performance of a system with tapped delay lines is not affected by the interference bandwidth for a single interferer.  相似文献

The authors propose two regenerative hybrid adaptive arrays in which a self-generated reference signal is obtained through a detection-modulation procedure from the array output. The proposed arrays do not depend on spectrum spreading and are therefore applicable when this feature is not available. It is shown that at steady state the performance of these regenerative hybrid arrays is approximately the same as that of a hybrid array with a perfect reference signal. As to transient behavior, these arrays are shown to converge if the available imperfect steering vector can result in a few dB output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio with the self-generated reference disabled  相似文献

 提出了一种改进的基于子空间的星载数字波束形成(DBF)接收天线的误差校正方法。根据阵列互耦效应主要取决于阵元间的几何距离这一特点,利用阵元空间排布的对称性简化了天线的互耦模型,将天线的互耦效应及射频(RF)通道失配统一为通道间的幅相不一致。通过在基带注入特定的阵内相位差降低了子空间算法的计算复杂度。在建立7单元正六边形平面阵仿真模型的基础上,分析不同信噪比(SNR)环境下校正算法的性能,经比较得出可以通过提高发射信号功率改善误差估计的精度,验证了算法的有效性。仿真分析结果表明该算法在卫星通信系统中有一定的工程应用价值。  相似文献

The performance of an LMS adaptive array with a frequency hopped, spread spectrum desired signal and a CW interference signal is examined. It is shown that frequency hopping has several effects on an adaptive array. It causes the array to modulate both the amplitude and the phase of the received signal. Also, it causes the array output SINR (signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio) to vary with time and thus increases the bit error probability for the received signal. Typical curves of the desired signal modulation and the time-varying SINR at the array output are presented. It is shown how the array performance depends on hopping frequency, frequency jump size, interference frequency, signal arrival angles, and signal powers.  相似文献

A method is presented for determining the effects of envelope modulated interference on a least mean square (LMS) adaptive array. The interference is assumed to have periodic envelope modulation with a bandwidth that is small compared with the carrier frequency. For such interference, the method allows one to calculate the periodic steady-state behavior of the array weights and the resulting array performance. As an example, we compute the effects of an ordinary amplitude modulated (AM) interference signal on the array. It is shown that such interference causes the array to modulate the desired signal envelope but not its phase. With a differential phase-shift-keyed (DPSK) desired signal, AM interference is found to have about the same effect on bit error probability as CW interference.  相似文献

A general expression of the error probability on an M-ary coherent phase-shift-keyed (MCPSK) signal purturbed by a noisy reference carrier, multiple interferences, and additive Gaussian noise is presented taking into account the frequencey divider in the carrier recovery circuit. First, a new expression for the probability density function (pdf) of the phase of a composite wave of signal, multiple interferences, and additive Gaussian noise is derived. Then this result and a pdf of the phase error modified from the Tikhonov distribution are used to obtain the erro probability of an MCPSK detector. In addition, the comparison between the error probabilities with and without the frequency divider is given, and it is found that the estimation is more pessimistic when the frequency divider is included.  相似文献

The performance of a steered beam adaptive array as a function of the beam pointing error is examined. The purpose is to determine how close the steered beam has to be to the actual desired signal arrival angle for good performance. It is shown that the beam pointing error that can be tolerated is essentially a question of dynamic range. The greater the desired signal dynamic range that must be accommodated by the array, the more accurate the beam pointing angle must be.  相似文献

The pointing system for optical data transmission over unguided channels uses a return beacon from the receiver back to the transmitter to aid the reciprocal alignment of the two stations. We concentrate on CW or pulsed-beacon acquisition with array detectors in the presence of extended clutter in addition to background and receiver noises. Acquisition in the presence of a single interferer (jammer) is also considered. A maximum likelihood (ML) approach is used when preliminary scene information is available. In the case of unknown scenario, a picture-picture subtraction algorithm is considered for the pulsed laser. Performance is evaluated in terms of probability of an acquisition error for Poisson statistics of the photodetector output.  相似文献

A new method of reducing target glint errors in radar systems is presented. The target is modeled as n reflectors whose magnitudes and phases are known. The reflector positions are described by a dynamical model driven by white Gaussian noise. The resulting vibrations of the target reflectors produce glintlike pointing errors in the radar system. An extended Kalman filter is developed to estimate the positions of the target reflectors; this information is used to substantially reduce the pointing error due to glint. Data illustrating this glint reduction is given. The model is extended by the inclusion of clutter effects modeled in the same fashion as the glint phenomenon. The results presented indicate the limits of usefulness of this technique as a function of both receiver noise and relative clutter amplitude.  相似文献

The problem of reducing interference impinging on an antenna array when the sources lie in the main beam is addressed. Adaptive antenna arrays are incorporated to form adapted sum and difference beams in which the interference signals are suppressed. Monopulse error curves are then obtained, providing the necessary distortion correction curves across the entire mainbeam tracking angle region. New Cramer-Rao (C-R) bounds on the angle estimation error are derived with generalized assumptions on the signal amplitude and phase. The bounds previously derived by others are valid under different conditions. With these generalized assumptions on the signal characteristics, a Monte Carlo simulation is performed, based on the estimation procedure presented, to determine the angle estimation error. These errors are compared with the C-R bounds. Good performance is shown for sufficient S/N0 and angular separation between the target and the interference sources  相似文献

The behavior of a LMS (least mean square) adaptive array with modulated interference is described. An interference signal with sinusoidal, double-sideband, suppressed-carrier modulation is assumed. It is shown that such interference causes the array to modulate the desired signal envelope but not its phase. The amount of the desired signal modulation is determined as a function of signal arrival angles and powers and the modulation frequency of the interference. Such interference also causes the array output signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) to vary with time. However, it is shown that when the desired signal is a digital communication signal, the averaged bit error probability is essentially the same as for continuous wave (CW) interference.  相似文献

面阵系统所采用阵元数多,数据量大,对信号处理机的实时处理能力要求非常高。系统采用基于参考信号的LMS算法,收敛速度较快、运算量低.且易于硬件实现。系统平台采用目前流行的DSP&FPGA架构,具有高速运算和处理能力,解决了面阵系统对实时处理机的苛刻要求。测试结果表明,系统能自适应地控制天线阵列方向图在用户信号方向产生高增益波束,在干扰信号方向产生较深零陷,并实现零误码率通信。  相似文献

自适应波束形成抗干扰性能受先验信息、通道幅相误差等因素影响较大,在工程应用中实现复杂,鲁棒性较差。针对这一问题,提出了一种卫星导航接收机固定多波束抗干扰方法,该方法将信号空间分为多个子空间,通过最优分配策略选取多个子空间分别实现固定波束指向,并相应地在每个波束后配置独立的卫星捕获跟踪通道组,然后依据最高信噪比准则在所有的子空间中优选卫星进行定位解算。该方法无需先验信息辅助,在抑制干扰信号的同时对卫星信号形成接收增益,在存在工程误差的实际条件下可达到与典型自适应波束形成算法相当的抗干扰性能,且具有鲁棒性强、更易工程实现等优点。最后,通过计算机仿真验证了该方法的有效性。  相似文献

The performance of a least mean square (LMS) adaptive array in the presence of a pulsed interference signal is examined. It is shown that a pulsed interference signal has two effects. First, it causes the array to modulate the desired signal envelope (but not its phase). Second, it causes the array output signal-to-interferenceplus-noise ratio (SINR) to vary with time. The desired signal modulation is evaluated as a function of signal arrival angles, powers and interference pulse-repetition frequency (PRF) and pulsewidth. It is shown that the signal modulation is small except when the interference arrives close to the desired signal. To evaluate the effect of the time-varying SINR, it is assumed that the array is used in a differential phase-shift keyed (DPSK) communication system. It is shown that the SINR variation causes a noticeable but not disastrous increase in the bit error probability.  相似文献

Detection performance in terms of the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve is obtained for three specific problems involving either signal or noise source location uncertainty. The array processors are optimum in the sense that they form the likelihood ratio of the outputs of the individual array elements.  通过分析数字闭环光纤陀螺的阶梯波调制信号与输出死区、周期噪声干扰及小角速度漂移的关系,提出了调制串扰误差的概念。指出调制信号与探测器输出信号之间的电交叉耦合及调制信号产生的调制误差是产生调制串扰误差的干扰源。将调制串扰通道模型简化为比例环节和部分积分环节,并和光纤陀螺理想模型结合,建立了光纤陀螺调制串扰误差模型,利用该模型推导出了产生死区的条件及周期噪声干扰和小角速度漂移造成的输出偏差表达式,并对周期噪声的幅值、频率与陀螺输出量级、带宽之间的关系进行了定量分析。调制串扰误差的仿真和实验结果与理论分析结果基本一致,验证了调制串扰误差模型的正确性。  相似文献

We have demonstrated that by using an adaptive space-time array the interference from multiple, strong interferers plus multipath can be canceled down close to the noise floor without producing serious loss or distortion of a GPS signal. Design criteria are presented and limitations are examined. We also compare space-time processing with suboptimum space-frequency processing, and demonstrate by simulation that for equal computational complexity space-time processing slightly outperforms suboptimum space-frequency processing  相似文献

The effect of adjacent channel interference on the probability of error in a binary bandpass communication system with an integrating and dumping detector is investigated. Narrowband filters are assumed in the receiver of the main signal and transmitters of both main and interfering signals. Plots of the probability of error as a function of signal to noise ratio in the main channel or as a function of carrier frequency difference between the main and interfering signals are presented, assuming that the filters are of the Butterworth type. These figures are helpful in the selection of minimal frequency spacing of adjacent channels.  相似文献

The performance of angle of arrival estimates using an array in the presence of interfering signals is evaluated using the Cramer-Rao bound. To do this, a model for interference is developed which presents the interference as narrowband, temporally white, but spatially correlated, noise. The bound is evaluated and it is shown to depend upon the ambiguity function of the array and spatial correlation matrix of the noise plus interference. Motivation of the model in the context of air traffic control and sonar surveillance is presented.  相似文献

针对圆台共形阵列,建立了空时二维自适应处理(STAP)的杂波模型,给出了圆台阵列杂波抑制最优权值的计算方法。在此基础之上,为了实现可应用到实际环境中的自适应处理方法,进一步讨论了将局部联合域(JDL)降维算法推广至圆台阵列中的问题。得出了圆台阵列JDL算法降维变换矩阵的表达形式,研究了参考波束的数目选取、波束指向等因素对降维损失的影响。理论分析以及仿真结果表明,通过合理选择通道数、波束方位向指向间隔等参数,该算法能够减少自适应波束形成的计算量,而且可以用较少的训练样本获得较好的处理性能。  相似文献
